Splotchy nails (despite speaking up), flies everywhere, rotting drink cups laying around, did not get square shape I asked for.

Went for the first time the other day. Only spent $100 and got a nice mani/pedi. I just get the basics and a color. So your prices might be different read more

Judson Nails Art - Judson Nails Art. Love my nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Converse, Texas

I came in after I called ahead of time and upon my arrival all of a sudden the owner or man Joe or whatever his name is said he couldn't do my set , that's fine my issue is ppl came in after me and now he can do set and I arrived before them this is very unprofessional if it wasn't for Taylor I wouldn't even give this establishment my money at all . I won't be returning after this read more

Although I still love Judson Nail Salon and will more than likely return, I felt a need to leave a review regarding the service I received today. I was a walk in and they were short staffed with only 4 nail techs. Upon my signing in, I was told there would be an hour to hour and half wait. I had no issue with that and had a few emails to respond to, etc while I wait. The man Joy, that sits at the first station asked me to sit to do my nails after waiting roughly 40 mins or so. I was excited because I tried to get him to do my nails before based on the reviews and he pushed me off on others in the salon which wasn't a disappointment either. He was able to do my nails this time and I like them. No issue there. He was gentle and didn't cut me. Now here's where things get fuzzy. I was told there would be a little bit of a wait for my Pedicure, again no issue. They were busy and taking their appropriate time in getting their clients out which I appreciate them not rushing but working efficiently. Once my tech (her name was Olivia) came to work on my pedicure she was nice at first until after painting two of my toes I asked for a polish change. She gave an annoyed look to which I apologized. Then asked me what is wrong with the polish. I replied and said, I don't like the way the color look on my skin tone and feel I need something lighter. She "snatched", yes snatched the polish from the side table and proceeded to speak in her native language to the tech next to her and grabbed the book of colors for me to select another color. It was rude and uncalled for and very unprofessional. Especially, when it's obvious I was being talked about for switching my color. I hope this review invokes a changed attitude and will be mindful about this particular nail tech on future visits. I gave a 5 star rating on my first 2 visits. This time I'm giving a 3 star rating for the 4 hours I was there for a mani/pedi and rude nail tech. read more

My nieces (X3) had a wonderful experience. They accommodated all three of us for pedicures at the same time. Great workmanship and customer service. Taylor and Olivia did a great job on our feet. You may pay a lot more for less service elsewhere so give this little gem by Judson a shot. read more

Came by to check the place out based on reviews and WOW!! I am impressed!! Super clean establishment. I didn't catch his name, but the manager was the one who did my nails. Originally I just wanted a soft pink full set but he mentioned ombré and went with it. His technique was flawless. He paid close attention to the details and was constantly making sure I was pleased with the service since it's my first time. Overall great experience. I did have to wait a tad bit but it was completely worth it. I can see why they are super busy!! I'll be returning considering I work nearby! read more

Excellent job best gel manicure I've ever had. Tam did exceptional! Well priced Update: the last two times I've gone they have been very rude to me and when I showed them a design I wanted they wouldn't even look at the picture and did their own thing, two separate times! and two different nail techs! My gel manicure only lasted a week and it started peeling off. Pretty bummed. read more

I have been here a few time's before for pedicure's and have always been extremely pleased! I never feel rushed and always relaxed. Today was my first time getting dip with them. I've been having a hard time finding a technician who does a good job with dip and designs. Although I didn't get a design today I am really happy with my new dip set! They are smooth and shaped evenly. I will definitely be coming back and maybe try a design next time! read more

INCREDIBLE job , per usual! I moved to converse from the Alamo Ranch area a few months ago and have been dreading finding a new nail tech by my house. The first time I came here I was amazed at how great my nails came out! I'm very picky about the shape and they nail it every time. My most recent set was absolute perfection- exactly like the reference photo I brought in from Pinterest. I got a pedicure and full set.....well let me tell you, I've NEVER been more happy every! By the way this is my first ever review on yelp 1.This place is RELAXING and VERY CLEAN. 2. The pedicure was PERFECT, and I hate to admit this but I had a gross ingrown toenail and my technician took AMAZING care of it. And the polish is perfect 3. Not once did I feel uncomfortable or pressured into an "up charge" of any kind. I said what I wanted and they did exactly that....crazy isn't it!? 4. My full set was done PERFECTLY and the art was simply amazing. I will for sure make this my new favorite nail spa read more

I don't leave reviews until today. The tech ripped my acrylic nails off! No soaking no nothing! Didn't ask me at all. Not only that the owner almost ripped the lady next to me gel nails off! She told him not to do that they were the gel ones and he said it doesn't look like gel to him like what!? Then he proceeded to raise his voice and argue with her. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IM MAD AT MYSELF FOR LETTING HER RIP MY NAILS OFF!! I did not let them do my nails. Edit: I did not go in late they had an one and a half before closing Did not take their time or care to. DO NOT GO HERE read more

Arrived at nail salon at 407pm. No one greeted me. No one even asked me what I needed until I was here for about 20 min. No one gave me a color chart to even pick out my color. However, when a group of about 5 ladies came in, they were greeted and hand color charts. So the owner calls me over to his station. He asks what color do I want. I informed him that I was never given a color chart to review. His response: "We gave it to you now". Then, i said to him.... well I am not ready bc I didn't have it beforehand. He says we'll take your time. Then, proceeds to start on someone else. Smh read more

This establishment is awesome! I've visited many of nail salons all over San Antonio and none compare to them when it comes to customer service. John, Olivia, and Tammy are the best. They use top notch material. I've gotten acrylic sets where the acrylic would lift after only a week with them I could literally go 6+weeks without a fill and my acrylic never lifts. And I am speaking from experience I have actually went 6wks with the same set and not one lift. Their work is phenomenal! Many designs and styles to choose from or bring your own and they can execute it! They also do not rush they take their time no matter how many customers come in. They are clean and keep their shop as well as bathroom clean. They enforce masks for everyone's safety which I appreciate. This is a great place! I definitely recommend and suggest you give them a try! read more
