Love Don and Tina, they are talented and so sweet! I never got the pedicure ladies name, but I always go to her for my pedicures and for my nails I go to Don or Tina. They allow me to bring my toddler and if she gets fussy with her they actually help me out. Or their son does, I've been going here for years and LOVE THEM AND this salon. Don gives great recommendations on alternatives and my nails always turn out great. Prices are very reasonable and quality is on point. My daughters (7 & 4) have also gotten their nails done for special occasions and the patience they have with my toddler is superb! I definitely recommend them! read more

Ask for dip nails with tip. Black being the main color and neon green for the tip. Let's just say everything went wrong and the technician never asked any questions during the entire process. This was my first time getting dip and it was an unpleasant experience. The tips are uneven, there are craters in the nail and the actual dip is horrible. Service is great. Salon looks a little outdated. I love the manicures with shellac polish because it lasts 3 weeks and are nothing like acrylic nails that will hurt your nails. Try them and you never go back to artificiall nails. Get the french because you wont' notice it as much when the nails grow. read more

This place is run down, and empty for a reason! I found this salon on yelp and thought it looked nice. So I brought my mom in for her birthday. When we first walked in we noticed the coy pond was dry and barren, aside from one old little pony toy. I wanted to leave, but my mom wanted to stay so we asked for two pedicures and manicures. After picking out our colors they got us seated right away. So, I thought it may not be so bad. Boy was I wrong! Thank goodness they started with my Mom. Because they left me sitting with my feet in the water for over 20 minutes. When I asked if either of the two other assistants would be helping. The girl working on my mom got an attitude and said "what do you expect, it's Sunday". My five year old niece was with us and is very well behaved but curious. So, naturally she wanted to see what the technician was doing. However after she snapped at her and told her to watch the awful and inappropriate cartoons that were on the television. Nisa was my technician and she did an amazing job. Her attention to detail while cleaning my nails was very meticulous which is more important to me then the paint job however, my gel paint job was very clean it had no bumps or streaks. Environment was very clean and relaxing, they had a good variety of regular nail polish, gel, and dip nail colors. Technicians were very friendly and happy to answer any questions you have. This used to be my go to salon because of Kevin. He is seriously the best nail tech I have ever had BUT I will never return again because of the owner. She is rude and makes you feel unwelcome. My daughter and I went to Ocean Nails because we were headed in vacation and needed a quick mani/pedi. The low down: we were there at 10:00am, which is the time that they were supposed to be open, but I had to call at 10:15 to be sure that they were coming in. The shop finally opened at 10:30am. The ambiance is nice. Trickling water fountains, rows of leather massage chairs in fairly good condition and two tv screens on each side of the wall. My 7 year old son was with us and they immediately accommodated us by putting on a movie. Unfortunately, it was one the pedicurist had not seen because she paid more attention to it than my daughter's feet. They don't have colored tips, FYI. These are the latest fashion and I was very disappointed. They charged me over $100 for me and my daughter's nails - which I believe was a bit high since it only took her 15 minutes of distracted attention to do the nails and me? My manicurist had a friend in who talked a mile a minute during my entire manicure, I had such a headache when I left. I know this sounds truly negative but I am being honest. If you open late, watch tv and talk to your buddies while charging premium prices for nails, maybe it's time to start a shop at home. Be professional. Another chance? probably no. 6...weeks...later....nails are still intact AND I am still getting compliments. Immediately went back for more. Disregard the service. I don't care if they fart and burp the whole time. My nails were kick arse. read more

My work has always required me to be on my feet so when I get pedicures my feet need a little extra love. This place was PERFECT for that! I was seated directly in a nice large comfy massage chair and the lady began working on me right away. I was so impressed by how much attention to detail she paid. Most of the time when I get pedicures they miss calloused skin, but this woman used more than one method to free my feet! You have no idea how relieving that is when you're use to constant disappointment. The best part is that ALL of the employees were courteous with genuine smiles on their face. I was helped by 3 out of the 4 employees that were there and they were enthusiastic! Most of you have also probably been to the places that I have. Where they speak in their native language very aggressively to one another, completely ignoring you, or giving you the stink eye in the process, which of course makes you think you're their topic of conversation. NOT THIS PLACE! I felt so welcomed it was almost like my own home. The lady also gave me a detailed and amazing foot/leg massage far beyond the extent of anywhere else I've been. I'm telling you this place really is tops! Lastly what I loved was the decor and set up. The nail station is divided from the pedi station and they even have the cutest chairs for little girl pedis- stuffed animal head included! I'm telling you it's a wonderful experience. I needed to be pampered yesterday and I got way more than I paid for and I tipped 50%. It's worth mentioning that I was pampered for about a full hour, which again is a first with a pedicure for me. I was very disappointed with the quality work done to my nails. I asked for shalac and everything was going well but the girl was not coding my nails with polish/shalac on the edges/tips of my nails which anyone that gets shalac knows the edges will chip easily if not layered with the polish. I asked the lady to please make sure all my nail were coded evenly and she gave me a long speech why she could not evenly code my nails. Her explanation was that if she would code the edges then it would stick to my skin so that's is why she wouldn't. I've been getting shalac for years now and they have always been able to code my nails evenly until this lady. Overall she didn't do what I asked her to and 4 days later my nails are chipping and the shalac is coming off. read more

As stated prior, moving to a new place can give one challenges when in search of the the essentials. Quality dog sitter, quality hair stylist and quality nail salon are a must. Happy to say that I am 3/3! When a nail tech has no issues busting out the super-sized cheese grater or industrial sander and buffer, you know you found a quality place. Kim and her husband are very detailed oriented and I went when it wasn't busy. The fish pond is soothing too! Kim suggested an Asian market where I could pick up some quality and tasty Vietnamese delicacies after she discovered I was Vietnamese. Score! Great shellac pedi and mani. I will be back! read more

i spent the past three months coming to this spa but they will no longer get my service. their hospitality is nonexistence & their attitudes are rude especially when something needs to be fixed. don't get me wrong their work was good, but everything else falls below the bar. the wait is ridiculous & the prices have gone up when the business has only gotten worse. i had a broken nail the next day after getting them done and they insisted on charging me for a fix even after i mentioned the lady whose nail they fixed for free with no problem the day i original came to get them done. so i figured whatever, i needed a fix & told them i'd be in later that evening. i pull up around 620pm and they're closed a whole hour earlier then they have posted on their door which was 730pm. i do NOT recommend this place if your looking for a enjoyable time, positive vibes or even welcoming people. read more

Never never never again. This place used to be a great little place to go and get my pink and whites when I cared about getting all girly and whatnot. Unfortunately, my last experience ensures that I will never go back, and I would strongly suggest that no one else go either. I walked into their establishment around 5ish on a Friday just wanting to get a pedicure with some artwork. Right off the bat I was greeted by a nice older gentleman and I asked him if they did artwork (the one thing that would make or break the deal right off the bat), he said that they did. So I looked at colors and chose 2 that I liked (again depending on how well they were able to artwork). He proceeded to take my old polish off, massage my feet and legs, and do exfoliating. When it came time to apply the color I asked him yet again if they were able to do art and at this point he said no. What?! Apparently the lady that does artwork was feeling ill and therefore couldn't do it and no one else in the salon was capable. Ugh! So I opted for just a plain salmon color which bummed me out because I had my heart set on getting a sweet design. When the man was done I looked at his job and was mortified. It was AWFUL. Paint all over my toes, not painting half of my toenail, splochiness, the whole nine. By this time a group of ladies had come in and one saw how disappointed I was with my pedicure. By nature I am not overly combative but this lady was out for blood so she started berating the man who did my pedicure and talking for me. I kind of feel bad for this aspect of the story, because I really do want to give people the benefit of the doubt but man oh man. So the lady made a big old stink which then got the store manager involved and eventually the lady that was so sick that she was unable to do artwork. They wanted to charge me full price ($25) for half of a pedicure. According to the manager, if you get a pedicure (regardless of if you get color) it still costs the same...even if the reason why you don't get color is their fault. I pointed out all of the flaws and then had them take the salmon polish off and said that either way I'd have to go somewhere else and get it redone, so wasting my time AND still charging me, PLUS promising a service (artwork) and then not being able to keep to it. The random irate lady chimed in and got the price down to $18 from $25, but at this point with the attitude of the manager and the fact that I could have gone to the Forum and had it done properly and to my specifications, and wasting my time all culminated into me feeling cheated even at the $18 price point. With all of the back and forth the manager got all huffy puffy and told me to leave but given that they spent some of their time doing a lackluster pedicure I told him that I felt like I owed him something for his time. He then said $25, to which I said no because I was going up from $0, and then he told me to pay whatever I felt like it was worth, so when I tried to pay $10 he looked at me dumbfounded and told me to just get out. Seriously? I am not in the business of ripping people off and I tried to pay them, but they need to get off their high horse and learn some customer service. read more

I sat there with my feet in the water for half an hour before someone was available to start my Pedicure. There were only three people working in the shop. A married couple and an older lady. The gentleman was very kind and did my pedicure and he did a good job. However, afterwards I went to sit down to wait for my manicure and they totally forgot about me. It was only when someone else walked in and he started to do a manicure that I realized I was forgotten. It was three hours and $51 later that I was finally free of this place. This place is great! The service is wonderful. The new owners, a husband and wife team are very professional, and knowledgeable on how to do a manicure, both gel and regular and pedicure correctly. I recently moved here, so I have visited 4 other salons before finally finding this place. Its not the newest place, but the customer service is A++. The deluxe pedicure included massage, hot towels, extra attention to any rough surfaces on my heels, so nice! My manicure turned out beautiful, I'm pretty rough with my hands but by the time I left my hands were soft and looked new. I am definitely coming back, often. I've gotten two excellent pedicures from the male owner (I'm assuming). He uses a hand-held "sander" for my heels, which makes them very smooth. The massage is great. They are running a special now, so I paid only $20 for my pedi. I also appreciated that he didn't try to "upsell" me on extra services like some other places in the area. read more
