Imagine driving up to a cozy restaurant snuggled in a historic neighborhood and the valet not only greets you with a warm smile and pleasant demeanor, but also offers you a glass of champagne or infused sparkling water as soon as you exit your vehicle! Then upon entering the establishment, the ambiance is set with a fire steel emblem flown in from Spain on warm dark mahogany wood walls. As you stand with the hostess, you hear the sounds of a playful piano and cool tunes echoing in the foyer and inviting you inside. The chic seating to your left catches your eyes in a quiet room where business deals are closed or the stress of the day silently drips away onto plush club chairs pulled up to hard wood tables. As you are seated, the young bartender feverishly shaking the next best cocktail offers a warm smile as the dim lighting and low murmur of happy patrons set the mood. Southern charmers dressed as wait staff great you with broad smiles; hanging on to your every word as if providing you with this experience is their life's mission. Imagine a Brahman bull quietly walking into a room, booming with a commanding presence and standing by your side. His mere existence demands the room and the team's respect and reverence for "the bull" are apparent; providing quiet direction as the staff whispers "Yes Chef" before hurriedly taking on the mission. Then as if being pampered (and what feels like being waited on hand and foot) by the service team is not enough, the quiet strength of the Chef appears at your table side in order to assure your food, drinks and overall experience from the moment you arrive are Michelin level. When you are here, you are transported to another world. The offerings are beyond and exceed any and all expectations. The sparkling water obviously tapped from a snow cap mountaintop spring, a tapestry of goat cheese, kalamata olives, thinly sliced beats, fresh crisp miniature cucumbers, sweet cherry tomatoes and fresh baked bread with an herb garlic drizzle. A mocktail that literally danced a slow sultry breeze across my palette. Smokey, charred roasted Brussels with a balsamic vinaigrette reduction to create the contrast of sweet yet savory. A Valencian Paella brimming with authenticity, fresh shrimp, clams and mussels atop luscious saffron rice. Tender juicy, charred lamb chops sliced with ease and served with pure love of the gift of food. Be warned before you arrive here, you will absolutely, positively, unapologetically fall in love with this establishment. It is not a restaurant. It is a life changing experience.

After speaking with the staff, i believe Mashawi is more specifically palestinian. The concept of this place is what sets it apart. They make it easy for the new comer or the veteran by telling you that there is nothing to order, you just enjoy. Right out of the gate, the side dishes and salads are presented like you are at a wedding feast. It is family style so you have to be quick if you want first dibs on the babaganoush or the hummus, and especially the Falafel (best i have ever had). Don't worry if you are slow to the draw because they will refill all sides and salads. The hardest part abotu Mashawi is having self conctrol because what comes next is a parade of seasoned meats and proteins that only get better. Reccomend the Steak, Kifta, and shrimp and Salmon. I have only been for dinner and at the end of this glorious meat train, they will ask if you would like more! It's a great family experience, or a night out with other friends. If you are wanting to introduce this cuisine to rookies, this place is perfect because there is no pressure to choose the right item. There plenty of choices for everyone to find something to eat. My last piece of advice would be to wait to order the Mint Drink at the end as a paltte clenser. They tempt you with a taste at first, but waiting till the end is the perfect punctuation to a unique and unforgettable meal.

At $45.99 per adult, it is less expensive than Fogo de Chão, so I wouldn't expect the same level of meat quality. We tried quite a few of the meats, and while everything was fine, we found the quality, texture, and flavor fairly average. The portions brought to the table were also surprisingly small -- for example, two shrimp and a very small piece of salmon at a time. Since it is all-you-can-eat, you can ask for more, but overall the experience didn't feel particularly generous. The most unusual part of our experience was the mansaf. It is listed as part of the all-inclusive menu, and since none of us had ever tried it, we specifically asked for it. The gentleman serving us strongly discouraged us from ordering it, explaining that mansaf is very heavy and that usually Jordanian customers come specifically for it. Later, when we asked again, he told us that since we were already full, there was really no need to order it. He did say he would bring it if we really wanted it, but after being discouraged multiple times, it felt awkward to insist, so we ultimately didn't try it. We understand that mansaf comes as a large dish and that he may simply have been trying to prevent food waste, which is understandable. At the same time, since it is specifically listed as an included item, we were surprised to be so strongly discouraged from ordering it. We were genuinely interested in trying a traditional Jordanian dish, not simply ordering more food because it was included. Overall, the concept is interesting and the price is reasonable for an all-you-can-eat meal. It is also fair to keep the lower price point in mind when comparing it with places like Fogo. But between the average meat quality, small portions, and the awkward experience around ordering the mansaf, we probably won't return.

Because the groups were large and each had a different theme, Bey was able to prepare offerings that catered to each theme. The luncheon was all mezes, small plates that aren't all that small, and it was specifically halal to cater to the diversity of the group. The Christmas meal was mezes with platters of chicken skewers and beef skewers and then filets. We weren't concerned with halal meats but I am sure that they were. It's easier to default to it. It was all done beautifully - flavourful, feeding the eye and the soul. The restaurant is nicely appointed and yet intimate. Service was great. I definitely plan to take my beau there for a date. He pointed out the owner to us, as well, who was bringing out dishes to tables and was very involved.

It's in a shopping center so there's free parking. It's right off Roswell Road so you really can't miss it even though it is kinda off in the corner but it's still easy to find . They have a little outdoor area so you can actually sit outside if you wanted to be in the element and it's actually covered as well because it's right under the awning of the building so that's an option too. You come in and it's a large shop but it's not a lot. Most of the space there is going to be seating. You can look around and they have a little market area but the market area is very small. They do have particular specific items so you can check that out while you wait for your food. You can see the menus on the board and everybody there is super friendly and they'll explain anything to you. We had a pretty good short conversation while I waited. Love the customer service . Hummus - I tried the hummus and it was okay. Nothing crazy about it and it was just regular and not like it was roasted red pepper or garlic or anything like that but it was decent . Chicken shawarma wrap - the wrap was pretty good. It wasn't great but it was pretty good. It had a lot of color to it, meaning they were seasoning it for sure, but the flavor was only okay. The flavor was not popping out of your mouth but it was a decent but subtle flavor. It was super tender! Chicken kabob - the kebab plate came with two skewers and rice with a salad and it came with some garlic sauce as well. I think that the kebab was better than the shawarma to me. It had the same char flavor but mixed with the rice and the garlic sauce, it took it up another notch as well. You got a lot of it though so it wasn't like you only got two pieces of meat per skewer and a small handful of rice. You got a bed of rice so it was really good. The salad was low quality but I really didn't care about that because I didn't come for salad lol. Overall you paid maybe like $12 or $14 for this. It wasn't bad for a full plate . All in all it was a pretty decent experience. They're very customer-oriented and customer-friendly so you go in there, you will be fine. They'll take care of you

Stopped in for the first time last week. I had this bookmarked for a while and decided it was time to check it out for date night. Hubby ordered the beef sticks with grape leaves and I ordered the burger with a side of fries. We started out with the saganaki (flaming cheese). Everything was delicious with the exception of the grape leaves (can't recall the official name of this dish). I told hubby that some reviews had mentioned they were soggy and not too good. He agreed with those reviewers and would not recommend. The saganaki was both literal and metaphorical fire. The pita points it was served with were crunchy, which was pleasantly surprising. We both did wish there was some kind of sweetness to complement the cheese like a fruit jam or something, but it was delicious regardless. The beef on the sticks was tasty as was the burger but the star of the whole show were the fries. Hubby typically does not like fries but he loved these and was happy that I let him share them with me. Lol I am not sure what kind of seasoning they had but our taste buds definitely approved. They don't come with the burger but were definitely worth getting on the side. It was a little on the pricey side at about $35-40 more than our typical date night spend for less food, but it was good overall. Too pricey to make it into our weekly rotation, but will be a nice addition to our special occasion options.

Mediterranean Express in Roswell offers a really fun combination of Mediterranean favorites and Indian classics, so the menu has something for just about everyone. If you're looking to try something a little different from your typical Mediterranean restaurant, this is definitely a place worth visiting. On this visit, my wife and I ordered the vegetable samosas, samosa chaat, butter chicken flatbread, butter chicken with rice, vegetable korma with rice, cheesy naan, and garlic naan. Every dish came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and paired perfectly with the fluffy basmati rice. The vegetable korma was comforting, full of vegetables, and had a wonderful creamy sauce. The butter chicken flatbread was a fun twist that worked surprisingly well, combining Indian flavors with a crispy flatbread. The samosa chaat was another standout, layering crispy samosas with chickpeas, yogurt, chutneys, and fresh toppings for a dish full of different textures and flavors. Don't skip the naan! Both were excellent, but the cheesy naan completely stole the show for me. It was soft, cheesy, buttery, and perfect for scooping up every last bit of sauce. What impressed me just as much as the food was the service. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely cared that we enjoyed our meal. Before we left, the owner brought me a complimentary Mango Lassi just so I could try it because he was proud of it. That kind of hospitality is something you don't see every day. The Mango Lassi was smooth, creamy, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be ordering one the next time I visit. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and has plenty of seating indoors along with a nice outdoor patio if you'd rather enjoy the weather. Parking is also easy since it's located in a shopping center with plenty of spaces available. This is one of those restaurants I'll happily drive back to. Great food, excellent service, generous hospitality, and a menu that's fun to explore. If you enjoy Mediterranean food, Indian food, or both, I highly recommend giving Mediterranean Express a try.
