The sparkling water obviously tapped from a snow cap mountaintop spring, a tapestry of goat cheese, kalamata olives, thinly sliced beats, fresh crisp miniature cucumbers, sweet cherry tomatoes and fresh baked bread with an herb garlic drizzle. A mocktail that literally danced a slow sultry breeze across my palette. Smokey, charred roasted Brussels with a balsamic vinaigrette reduction to create the contrast of sweet yet savory. A Valencian Paella brimming with authenticity, fresh shrimp, clams and mussels atop luscious saffron rice. Tender juicy, charred lamb chops sliced with ease and served with pure love of the gift of food. Brussels sprouts made for a tasty shared appetizer with a nice crisp and bold flavor. The steak frites had a good portion size and could work as either a hearty starter or a lighter entrée. From the 1st moment of arrival to finally leaving at the end of the dinner, everything was wonderful. Service is out of this world, the food is diverse, flavorful and excellently presented. I thoroughly recommend you give Floga a try. It's the new kid in the block so still relatively uncrowded but it won't stay that way for long. Staff was very nice but food was very disappointing. Charred octopus was over charred and chewy and portion was very small (one small tentacle). Branzino is where I was truly disappointed. Could not get a bite without picking several bones out of my mouth. The manager came out and apologized and she was very nice, but the food was just not good. read more

First off, Floga, translated to Flame in Greek, opened only for a few months since July. And I gotta tell you, the outside of the restaurant is simply beautiful. Not only do they provide valet parking, but they offer complimentary prosecco, almost like a red carpet experience to a special event. Once you walk in, the interior is breath taking. They have different rooms with one having live music. The chairs and couches were comfortable. Whoever owns the restaurant knew about decorating and have the financial means to pull it off. Our server managed to take care of us throughout the evening as she brought everything to our table. A hiccup or two, but she was nice and did a good job. As for the food? I normally don't say this when I am eating. But at this restaurant I said OMG to pretty much everything I ate. The drinks, appetizers and main courses: to say they were just delicious is an insult. It was one of the best foods I've had not just in Roswell, not just in Georgia, but ANYWHERE! And you can take that to the bank. My deepest compliments to the chef and staff. Overall, Floga gave a great experience that my family and I will never forget. It's now one of the top of the list of restaurants we can go to and enjoy. I could describe the restaurant more and tell you what we had, but I think I will leave it at that so that people can have the same experience we had and come out with high expectations and enjoyment that you can look forward to next time. If you haven't tried Floga yet, you definitely should. It is perfect for any occasion whether it's celebrating a special occasion or just simply going out to dinner. Beautiful, beautiful interior--probably the nicest on Canton Street. Noise level was minimal and I don't even recall hearing music, which is great, because I'm so tired of loud music at restaurants. The menu offered options at various price points and was affordable if desired. You can also buy a $76 steak. I had the creamy parpadelle with wild mushrooms and it was exquisite. My friends had the mussels and scallops and those were also delicious. Then we had pistachio gelato which must be experienced. I really loved this place and will be back. read more

This place recently opened and my wife and I had to try (we are Roswell foodies). Valets offered us prosecco while taking our car (nice touch). Our dinner was average as the Shish was over seasoned and the Sea bass was under cooked. We had unusual sticker shock as $500 gets you so much more with the restaurants down the street. After further inspection of the bill, they charged us $132 for 6 "East coast" oysters. There are some phenomenal oysters out there (Coffin Bay King oyster or Gillardeau oysters) that are $20 an oyster, but selling East coast for that price was surprising. I would highly recommend you confirm the MP costs before indulging at Floga and maybe sticking to Zest or Little Alley for your oysters. UPDATE: Their GM (Diamond) personally called me to understand what happened and how they can continuously improve their service. There were several points of failure that she will address all of which can be easily implemented. For the record, for my part I should have just called over a manger on the spot. She promptly identified the over charge on my bill and refunded my card. I want to leave this review up as a reminder that it takes courage to do the right thing and we can all continuously improve. Diamond & Floga have demonstrated to us that they care about their customers and value our business. I updated overall from 2 to 4-stars and value from 1 to 3 stars. I had a lovely experience at Floga. The cocktails were refreshing and the complimentary warm bread was a thoughtful start. I had the chicken kabab, which was tender and full of flavor. I know exactly where to start. From the valet parking... you're greeted with the choice of champagne or cucumber water. The host is very welcoming, complimented with a really nice ambiance.
