Both the restaurant and the International / Georgian Grocery next door are great. Two thumbs up There are a few of us that went there for a birthday party, and we had a fabulous meal. Everything was really great. Lamb Shawarma. Mushroom Soup. Beef Soup. Cheesy Bread. Grilled Chicken Skewers. Dumplings. Two different desserts. There was more, but I failed to get pictures of everything because it all disappeared so quickly. Everything we had was great. Staff was really nice. The interior was nicely decorated and clean. There was even an out of town Georgian couple, in from Ohio, that we had a great time chatting with at the table next door. The International grocery store next-door, which is owned by the same people, is also great. Foods to take home. Mineral waters. Dried pastas. Jellies and jams and Honey. Frozen section. All kinds of good stuff. Looks like they can heat up some of the homemade deli stuff to eat there, as well. Everything looked great and homemade. Looks like they are adding in an indoor patio, which the owner, Nina, told me will be like eating in a garden. I look forward to that being finished and checking that out. I'm not sure if they are serving coffee or tea yet, but this is a great little spot to hit for a snack or for lunch. It's a nice, big space - which is also conducive for popping in to do a little reading or work on your computer. This was our first time visiting the Georgian Corner Restaurant, and we had a very good experience. We were seated in a smaller, private room and greeted immediately by Eseniya. One of the best aspects of this restaurant is the authenticity in the cuisine. Eseniya explained all the dishes and gave great recommendations. They have a QR code at the table to help you see the food before placing your order. We decided to try the Megruli Khachapuri in the "From the Oven" section of the menu based upon Eseniya's suggestion. It's soft, golden dough generously filled with cheese and crowned with an additional layer of melted Sulguni cheese on top. It tastes rich, savory, and deeply satisfying. My family tried the Mushroom Soup, which is a silky, aromatic soup made with a blend of sautéed mushrooms, fresh herbs, a subtle creamy finish for refined depth and earthy elegance. We had a good culinary exploration experience. We would recommend others try the restaurant, and we would definitely consider returning to try the Khinkali Kalakuri (Georgian dumplings), Adjaruli Khachapuri (the boat-shaped dough filled with a molten cheese blend, finished with a fresh egg yolk and butter), as well as the Chicken Tabaka. First time trying Georgian food, so I can't really speak to authenticity--but everything we tried was delicious. The menu is entirely in Georgian, with English descriptions, which made it easy to order. Prices are reasonable, maybe slightly on the higher side for the portion sizes, but not unreasonable. The restaurant itself is cozy with a soft, relaxed vibe. Service wasn't overly attentive, but the staff was polite, calm, and pleasant throughout the meal. Food-wise, there were more hits than misses. The soup reminded me a bit of canned soup, though it wasn't overly disappointing. The lamb skewer was slightly cold when it arrived, but incredibly tender and flavorful. The absolute standout was the Adjaruli khachapuri (cheese bread bowl)--pure perfection. Let me first start by saying that I've been to a number of Georgian (the country - not the state) restaurants around the globe and I have to say - this one ranks high amongst all the others. The place is a bit small, but it looks like they are expanding and will be able to accommodate large parties and events. Traditional settings and modern flare. The staff are all from Eastern Europe and speak Georgian and Russian, which shows their commitment to authenticity. Ok - on to the food.. Very traditional menu, with a good spread of items to try, from Georgia. My go-to, is always the Khachapuri - which is like an open faced calzone. Cheesy goodness! This time I tried some of their soups, the weather was cold, and the warm soups sounded the best! The mushroom was very flavorful, and full of mushrooms! Definitely one of our favorites. My wife was an exchange student in Tbilisi long ago, and she was very excited when I saw this new Georgian restaurant in Roswell. We went there for dinner last night. There was live music which was very good and not overly loud, so you could still hold a conversation. There were a lot of Georgian families there which was very encouraging when we came in. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They gave us great service and answered questions well as my wife was trying to pick out her favorites from long ago. We ordered the type of kachapuri she remembered. If you like cheesy bread, Adjaruli Kachapuri would be a winner for you. It is a boat-like shape with melted cheese in the middle w an egg yolk and butter for you to stir in before breaking off hunks to dip. Amazing, soft, and delicious. We had the dumplings (khinkali) which are like where a beggars purse meets soup dumpling. They were big and delicious. They were out of the lamb version, but the pork version was delicious. We also had Chakapuli which is a lamb stew with tarragon. The lamb was a little under-seasoned, but tender and delicious. I was hoping to take the remainder to sop up with some bread, but my wife polished it off to the last drop. I've had Georgian wine before, but wasn't a big fan of the sweeter wine. We tried a drier red, and it was delicious. Overall it was fairly priced for a nicer restaurant. If you are a culinary explorer looking to try something new, you should absolutely give it a try. Food was delicious. Started with the burrata salad with apples, eggplant chestnut rolls and khachapuri. The salad arrived and while it looked bland due to the white color, was actually very flavorful. I'd definitely order again. The bread was hot. Khachapuri came bubbly and hot. When I discovered there was Georgian restaurant in the area, intrigue set in. I tried the Walnut Stuffed Eggplant, Chicken Tabaka and Ruclo & Fig salad. Now I am uncertain whether Georgian food isn't for me or was it just this restaurant. The prices were a bit on the high side, the chicken tasted a bit off to me. From that experience the thing enjoyed most was the salad. I couldn't eat the chicken. Exploration sometimes adds to your culinary memories, other times not so much. read more
