Highly respectable and highly qualified professional in person, and in knowledge to hearing related services. I have never in my life been to a doctor/audiologist that has cared so deeply in getting me the best rehabilitation through recommended hearing aides to make my life better. I am a disabled service veteran, and my ailments are finally being recognized through a diminished hearing from gunfire and large equipment noises while in service. Floyd extends his services by being very detailed in his position in giving courses of action in making my condition better. Dr. Milner and his son Eugene have been so kind and have bent over backward to help my father who has very severe hearing loss. My dad is 83 and has been seeing an audiologist for the past thirty plus years. He recently moved in with us and has had to find all new doctors in our area. I honestly cannot fathom the poor reviews I see here, but I do know that often, those with an axe to grind will post due to their displeasure, while those with good experiences often go merrily along their way. I simply had to leave a favorable review because my dad is far from an easy case and Dr. Milner has spent so much time and effort on this one patient alone. He is the most important patient to me, and Dr. Milner makes us feel that my dad is most important to him as well. If I could give this experience 10 stars I would, and I am no pushover. Karen at the front desk is exceptional in her work and effort as well, and she's put forth plenty. The office isn't fancy but the kindness, care, professionalism of Dr. Milner is beyond measure. We couldn't ask for more. Don't let poor reviews put you off. The man knows his stuff and has a jovial persona. These negative reviews shock me...I have been going to Audiolist for at least 35 years & I found, Dr Milner, Tops, He gave me the best device for my needs. I have a Cholear Implant & was getting no help with an aid to assist on other side... Was living in Hawaii, after my first visit, I knew I wanted his help & quite going to my island dr, which said I couldn't get hearing on that side of my head & had me remove the aid, saying I had no hearing, WHEREAS Dr. Milner tested me & found an aid that does give me hearing.... To a deaf person, this is important... I would come to mainland just to go to him... I am so thankful my friend recommended him.... I went yesterday to see Dr. Milner for my hearing test and was very impressed with his knowledge off the ear and the testing he did. He spent over 2 hours with me testing and explaining what I had. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He didn't try to sell me anything just told me what I needed. I absolutely loved this place! Lots of parking & very easy to find. The front office is clean & updated with comfortable seating while waiting. Checking & waiting to see the doctor was in a timely manner. Dr Milner & his assistant were very patient with my 2 year old. He made it as comfortable & swift as possible for my son. In response to Dr. Milner's reply: First, be aware of making assumptions about my knowledge of your equipment. I have worked with specialized audio equipment, and once worked at a repair facility where such equipment was maintained. My comments are based on my observations of your equipment, as I sat waiting in one of the rooms. What stood out to me was not just the 70's era equipment, but that other peoples ear molds and devices "in progress" where left out on work surfaces. The biggest problem was not your equipment. It was the way I was treated by staff, and how much better I was treated at a government facility that tested my hearing for free. I understand you do help people, and that is a good thing, but you did not help me. read more

Audiologist Floyd Milner has been an outstanding volunteer and worked with me at a Health Fair for Senior Citizens for 18 years, beginning in 1996, providing free services to low income senior citizens for a day. He helped me with new hearing aids two years ago, and this has helped me tremendously remain in the mainstream of living a rewarding life. He assisted a family member of ours who had a 50 percent hearing loss who had never had his hearing tested. He now has a new lease on life at 81 years young. What a difference. Mr. Milner has a sense of humor and may have been misunderstood. I have appreciated his work and highly recommend him. Flashy offices are expensive, and Mr. Milner puts his time and effort in doing his best to help others. He is still helping me today in 2015, and I thank him very much for all he does for others! read more

I swear that if I could give you a -5 I would. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AND I MEAN NEVER. I wished I would have seen the reviews before I made the appointment. Let me start by saying that I waited a long time to be seen and that I saw you going trough the back door to get food or what not. I was with my 2 year old little girl waiting for you to have your lunch. Your office smells like an old very old persons house. The front desk told me to pay the co-payment because I was having a visit not just a test. I tought, ok someone is going to explain something to me. we get to your room, you didn't even asked me why we were there, by the way let me tell you why because my daughter seems to not listen to me when she is focus on other things. You make us go to a room with TOYS and what happened my daughter was focus on that and no the sounds. You were so hungry and so busy and you wanted to go home that you didn't even let us try to do it without the toys or let me calm down my daughter for the fluid test. Your recommendation is to drug her to make her sleep so the test can be perform. You need to stop eating and start listening to your patients that are paying for your services. AGAIN NOBODY WITH A KID SHOULD EVER GO TO THIS OFFICE. read more

Based on my five visits, I can say that Dr. Milner and his staff are professional and polite. Having purchased my hearing aids from him through my insurance, I was not dropped from his list of patients right after that. Instead, I have been scheduled to make regular follow-up visits to report on my hearing aids. So far, each visit has been a pleasant experience . All my questions are always answered in detail and in a polite manner. I also appreciate Dr. Milner's and his staff's kindness and generosity. Writing PUBLICLY a scathing and condemning review of a doctor and his business based on ONE visit is wrong and unjust. It is good for us, patients, to have a way of voicing our opinions about doctors, but making sweeping generalizations about them is never true or right. Especially when one uses extremely strong words like "horrible" and fails to support them with adequate proof. First of all I have read some of the previous reviews and I don't believe them, they seem to be all written by the same person. You should not believe them either, but that's up to you. I have been a patient of Dr. Floyd Milner for over five years now and I can tell you that he is a very caring and knowledge man. It might be true that he has an older office but that doesn't reflect on the care that you receive from him or his staff. Speaking of his staff, they are all very professional all the time. I look forward to my trips to the office every time that I go, which is about every two months. They treat me like family and I treat them the same way. I have been to three different audiologists and was not happy with the outcome but I can say that Dr. Milner has solved my hearing problem very much to my satisfaction. I've been taking my mother here for about one year; approximately 6 visits. At each visit, Dr. Milner and his staff have been nothing but professional, polite and helpful. Even today when we arrived and construction had taken away all previous parking, I was told where I could park under the building and that if needed Dr. Milner would park my car as he has apparently done for others. I am shocked by the previous reviews as they certainly don't describe the doctor or the staff that we have seen. I have been a patient of Dr. Milner's, since the late 1980's. I have a heredity hearing problem. He helps me by staying on top of the newest state of the arts in Aids to deal with my issue. I find him to be VERY responsive to my needs, ie: broken aid, to repair ear mold/replace a tube on aid, or to adjust the programming on my aids as my hearing is continually deteriorating.
