As an…read moreexample I wild get a text with one date confirming appointment and then a call the day before to confirm I was going to be at my appointment on a different date. I had my annual hearing checkin in December of 24 and was told I would need new hearing aids. No problem, at least that is what one would think. I get calls in January telling me need to be tested now that insurance had approved the hearing aids. Testing had already been done. I took a month to find out what they meant was I needed to come in to review my choices on hearing aids and measure my ear. This had already been done during my testing in December when I was told I need new ones. They had provided the hearing aids I was using and had all the measurements. They couldn't schedule till mid March to pick the ones I had already picked and take a measurement of my ear. This took all of 5 minutes. Signed the paperwork and told it would be about a month to receive them. I contacted my insurance company to change providers for future appointments reviewed the reasons why with them. They agreed to do so. A couple of weeks later I get a call from an office manager in Glendora (Jackie) upset and argumentative that I had filed a grievance. Confirmed I was still going to pick up the hearing aids when they came which I did. I call in April to find the status and am told I would have to contact the insurance company. They could not tell me more. I called my insurance company today, they got the doctors office on the phone and confirmed the office had canceled the order because of the grievance. The also claimed they were refusing future care because of the grievance, which was something I had already asked for. My insurance company approved starting the entire process again with another doctor 10 minutes from my home instead of 45. So if you have a problem and have any medical devices you have been approved for, wait till you get them before you take any other actions. They will not let you know what they have done when they take a retaliatory action against you.

I have worked with several providers over the years, but Innovative Hearing is the best. I was referred to them by Dr. Yung, but if your doctor doesn't refer you to Innovative, it's time to find another doctor. I enjoyed working with the Teeles and I got hearing aids that are very impressive to solve all of my hearing issues. Word of advice: Use Innovative Hearing and reap.

So I found them through the…read morephonak website that does pediatric hearing aids, we were going to HearX but no longer had the pediatric audiologist. So we went to discuss new hearing aids and a hearing test (wouldn't accept Kaiser's audiogram) which is fine. We wanted phonak hearing aids and assuming they knew how to work with phonak hearing aids and wanted to sell us on oticon. They have 0 experience with phonak, and took what we wanted (my ideas for the choice of hearing aids) he could of easily stated they were too strong and recommended a different phonak (which a decent audiologist would do). We come back and purchase the hearing aids, and have them programmed, we walk out and my child is in tears due to being too loud from the feedback. So we go back in 4 hours later and assumptions it was my child having issues with high frequency, they did a test after her being tortured with high sounds from the feedback while trying to program them while on the phone with phonak (of course she will be sensitive to those sounds). So I buy them and figure I would have someone else program them as the audiologist put "NO REFUND" on the receipt, which is ILLEGAL. Made sure that the follow up appointment was after the 45 day trial by LAW. I was unaware of this law until I spoke with a different audiologist. So buyer beware, shady practices! Came back to return them, I was calm and just wanted my money back (it had been 4 days) he asked why and I could only get out they're too powerful, and went on a 15 minute rant about how it's all my fault. Fine I'll take the blame as all I want is my money back. I didn't get to mention they did nothing on the programming of the hearing aids, not even the basics of a feedback test, which was one of the reasons I went back in after we left when we bought them. They're incompetent when it comes to phonak and cannot accept when they make a mistake, so much so wrote a 3 page letter full of lies and cannot even copy the audiogram numbers correctly into the letter. It's been a truly unbelievable experience.

Once I received my hearing aids, there was very minimal instruction as to use and maintainance at the time of acceptance. My right hearing aid has been problematic at least 3 times in the first year. This resulted in only office staff adjustments per their experts. Just over 1 year of use my right hearing aid quit working or charging. I brought both hearing aids and charger to be checked out. No log in of equipment or signage of release. 1- 1/2 weeks later I phoned for an update. Very rudely the receptionist, Charlene, informed me "I told you I will get back to you when it is ready!" I also asked to speak with her supervisor. Charlene said "Lilly" is rarely in the office and was very busy with meetings. I requested she have "Lilly" call me. After 3 weeks I am still waiting. They offer "loaner" hearing aids with a charger when available. They thought the left hearing aid and charger that they gave me were mine--but they were not even the same color! The loaners did not work so I returned them the next day. No log or signage upon return either. 4-5 days later I showed up to office very frustrated. A MIRACLE--they had my right hearing aid! No left one and offered me a NEW charger since they couldn't locate mine. At 3 weeks+ I am still waiting for them to locate and return my left hearing aid!! I am also still waiting for "Lilly" to find 5 minutes in her extremely busy schedule to call me back! For the high cost expended for these hearing aids, one would expect better quality and service from this office.

I called to cancel the appointment but instead Karina said I could come in so she could check my ears with a camera. She was very helpful and nice and took great care of my ears. I would recommend this place to anyone. They are very professional and I am now not cancelling my appointment but I plan on going to them as soon as my ear wax situation resolves.
