I popped into this business to inquire about any suggestions I could get to soothe my itching ears. I was a Sheriff Dispatcher for 20+ years and we wore earpieces in our ears. These were specially molded for each employee. My ears did not do well with them. We worked 4 -12 hour shifts. My ears would weep daily. On my days off, I'd try to soothe them. But, 3 days was not enough. I spoke with the nice lady at the front desk, told her my issue and asked if they had any suggestions. She brought out a bottle of "ProEar" skin serum and handed it to me. My experience with Hear USA has been a nightmare for me. First of all my hearing test took only 10-15 minutes. Not enough time to really help my hearing problem. I went to the Pasadena Hear USA. The gentleman just sold me what he thought would help my hearing problem. The hearing specialist, Danielle, and her receptionist, Nisha, were fantastic. And so were the hearing aids. My sister and partner both went through several, and it was a fight to have them use them. If I was able to give more stars I would ! I had sudden hearing loss one day just woke up with no sound on one ear . Went to the Hospital and of course I was freaking out . I called Hear USA and spoke to the receptionist who was so kind . I made an appointment and they looked at my hospital records. Being new to this hearing loss world I have no knowledge . They explained in detail what was going on and answered all my questions I was scared to ask . They were very sensitive to my feelings and reassured me that I'm not alone in this . I cried because I felt at ease . After we spoke about options I left with some loaner hearing aids. And I got my balance back instantly . I'm so grateful for them ! Hear USA staff was awesome!! My dad suddenly had trouble hearing even w a hearing aid. Danielle diagnosed that the hearing aid wasn't working and it wasn't a decline in his hearing. She checked and said the warranty was about to expire in 3 weeks. A loaner was given to him and the aid was sent out for repair. My parents were visiting and had to leave in 2 weeks. Omg Hear USA made my day today . I happen to be working in the area today & I needed my hearing aid fixed . I went thru Yelp & tried 2 other providers who happen not to have anyone to help me. Then I called Hear USA & I emailed them a picture of my hearing aid to make sure they had the part to repair it. They responded immediately & said yes . I drove there after work & gave them my hearing aid & they fixed it pretty quickly . I said how much do I owe you ? They said nothing .. Are you serious? She sign to me & used her voice & said yup you don't owe anything. I said wow . I asked do you have the filters for my hearing aid? I happened into this store /shop as I was heading to UPS next door. I think it may be new. I had been to Costco hearing center today and to the Sams Club hearing center another time. Both visits we were asking for a little assistance with my mother in laws hearing aids. She's from out of town. Both were offering no assistance if she didn't buy the aids there. This store was different! Both ladies right away were welcoming and friendly. Right away offering a small brush to clean the aids free! ( mom's had broke) Next taking the Aid from her and noting it was not seating right in her ear. Mom had mentioned that earlier in the day to me! The young lady Danielle, was so kind. Started changing her filters , yes apparently they have filters and cleaning them and turning the tube the correct direction, as it had been done wrong at the last place. They asked for nothing and I truly believe they are just super nice!! If you've been thinking of stopping in there I would suggest you give them a visit.
