We have been here quite a few times over the years and over the last few years it feels like they are far more interested in selling hearing aids than listening to the patient. You do not get straight answers when you ask questions about hearing aids. Instead, they leave you in a room for a while, while they go supposedly discuss things, and they come back and try to convince you to buy new hearing aids. They're constantly offering some kind of a deal. But nothing is straightforward. It constantly feels like they're trying to gauge how much you're willing to spend. I politely explained with my ptsd the reasons i can't wear a mask and while I was explaining this the nurse in the back just kept laughing. Ok now, going on 9+ years seeing Dr Milner and his son Eugene. They are always very friendly and professional. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. This round of visits was to upgrade my aging hearing aids and as usual my insurance company was denying the new hearing aids. I had received a letter from my insurance company stating I would need to wait 1 more year for new units. Do to the persistence of Dr Milner and his staff within a month I got a call from Dr Milner saying they got the upgrade approved and had the new aids in the office and ready to go! He usually gets pretty high end units and I am amazed how the technology keeps improving the sound quality over the years. Dr. Milner and his son Eugene have been so kind and have bent over backward to help my father who has very severe hearing loss. My dad is 83 and has been seeing an audiologist for the past thirty plus years. He recently moved in with us and has had to find all new doctors in our area. I honestly cannot fathom the poor reviews I see here, but I do know that often, those with an axe to grind will post due to their displeasure, while those with good experiences often go merrily along their way. I simply had to leave a favorable review because my dad is far from an easy case and Dr. Milner has spent so much time and effort on this one patient alone. He is the most important patient to me, and Dr. Milner makes us feel that my dad is most important to him as well. If I could give this experience 10 stars I would, and I am no pushover. Karen at the front desk is exceptional in her work and effort as well, and she's put forth plenty. The office isn't fancy but the kindness, care, professionalism of Dr. Milner is beyond measure. These negative reviews shock me...I have been going to Audiolist for at least 35 years & I found, Dr Milner, Tops, He gave me the best device for my needs. I have a Cholear Implant & was getting no help with an aid to assist on other side... Was living in Hawaii, after my first visit, I knew I wanted his help & quite going to my island dr, which said I couldn't get hearing on that side of my head & had me remove the aid, saying I had no hearing, WHEREAS Dr. Milner tested me & found an aid that does give me hearing.... To a deaf person, this is important... I would come to mainland just to go to him... I am so thankful my friend recommended him....
