Mango

Cousin ordered the mango cake for her parent's anniversary party. It was pretty, huge, moist and delicious! If you are a mango lover this will hit the spot!

5/5 for sure. You can order online in advance. Everything I've tried is fresh and very good here. Positive daily vibes and comfortable dine-in environment. Love my server who's always attentive. They do get busy when employees are eating here or companies are ordering takeouts on most weekdays. When I walk in after 10:30am, I'm always looking forward to their soups here. Fresh made and kept at good temperature. On a rainy day Monday, I was the only customer inside. I had the hot cup of fresh cabbage beef stew which came with the sourdough breads/so soft and tender. It really melts in my mouth with the hot cup of delicious daily soup. I love it. The croissant was also fresh baked/soft/flaky/light weight/moist/tender. That's a bonus because not every place makes it this good. The croissant was very good and easy to swallow. I had a hot cup of hot chocolate to go with it. I am happy here. It's like another home away from home and easily accessible to places and companies nearby. I'll keep returning for great cafe foods. Must love! It's a great stop for me prior to attending weekly yoga sculpt classes not far from here. Loved the quiet rainy day Monday. It was still very vibrant and brightly lit with huge natural windows inside. Nice.

The salad was delicious the desserts were fresh and cooked daily the coffee was really good to. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You order and then grab it from the counter when it's ready. They did see me sit and bring my food when it was prepared. It was in a to go box. It was nice and cozy in there. I went twice in my 9 nights in California..

Guava cake for a birthday celebration was liked by many. Not too sweet but not bland. Definitely easy to order and pick up especially for last minute cakes. Staff were friendly and pick up was a breeze.

3/5 stars. Bland burnt almond bavarian cake. Too sweet the raspberry chocolate cake. 2025.

Nice bakery with plenty of dessert options and friendly service. Mushroom sandwich was really good. As also the hazelnut crunch pastry.

Of course husband last minute says day of birthday celebration that we need a cake. Found Izumi…read moreCakes on Yelp and was bummed at first because the soonest online reservation for a cake would be two days later. Husband called them around 11am and they said they were in the middle of making their strawberry cakes so they could add our order in for a same day pickup at 4pm. Pickup went well and the cake was so cute and it tasted great! Like the Chinese bakery strawberry cream cake with a moist sponge cake; not too sweet, just right. Might sound basic but it was done very well. Would 100% recommend. I don't know prices for cakes nowadays but I didn't feel bad paying about $60 for a cute and tasty cake (6", strawberry cream cake). I wouldn't bank on same day pickups, I might've just been very lucky they were in the middle of making their cakes but it wouldn't hurt to try calling early in the day if you're in a pinch for a solid cake. I'm very thankful for their service!

This spot is takeout-only, so don't plan on stopping by for long. Finding parking isn't difficult…read morebut might take a minute on busy days, as it shares a parking lot with the rest of a popular plaza. The store itself is easy to find as well, with a clear label outside. Walking in, it looks half-closed--their cakes are all stored in a large refrigerator, with nothing in the case on the counter. There is a sign proclaiming "takeout only" in slight disarray, and the seating is pushed to the side. That said, the service is friendly and the employees are quick to help you and show you what they have in stock for takeout. I ordered the 4" Berry Berry Light Cake for a birthday, and they were able to write a birthday message on the cake board, which I really appreciated. The cake also tasted very light and the sweetness was subtle, which I really enjoyed. The berry flavor in the sponge was a little too subtle, though. My main concern is that the cake does not fully resemble the picture they advertised online. It is missing the freeze-dried berries on top, and the berry glaze did not reach as far down the cake as was shown in the photo. Because the berry glaze is the main source of the berry flavor, this was a little disappointing. Also, the cake was not finished when I came to pick up the cake (and I was ~5 minutes late). I'm uncertain if this is for freshness or if there is another reason. Overall, I like the spot for the fresh and light cake. It's pleasantly unique compared to your standard sheet cake, and everything is rather cute. However, it may be a better idea to buy the cakes in-person to be 100% sure of what it will look like, though daily stock is definitely more limited than if you place an order online. I hope they reopen their indoor seating soon.

We were planning for a last minute event and frantically started searching Yelp for someone who…read morecould bake us a custom cake with just a few days notice. Reached out to Shruthi, who was very responsive from the get go. She was able to accommodate our design and provide suggestions as well. She helped us with a cake and cake pops and also helped get it delivered. The cake looked beautiful and unlike other custom cakes we had ordered in the past (where the look compromised the taste), this one was equally yummy. The kids at the event also liked the cake pops. Overall we are really happy with the cake and service. Definitely recommend Shruthi :)

Overall we were extremely happy working with Shruthi, starting with original conversation about cake details it was extremely stress free and easy to work with, the aesthetics and cake presentation and the accuracy of what was promised to us and the taste and the timeliness on the delivery of cake!

I had ordered my dad's birthday cake from here back in 2024 (salted yolk/pork sung/matcha mix…read morecake), and it was absolutely delicious! This time I decided to stop by here after dinner, my first time sitting down here and ordering. The inside is very clean, modern, and Pinterest-like. They added more decorations and seating from 2 years ago, making the inside more aesthetic. whaT's More always has unique Asian flavors, like durian, earl grey, pandan, red bean, and oolong. The cakes are not too sweet, so definitely Asian parent approved haha! Unfortunately, when we came around 6:30pm, they were sold out of most flavors - so would definitely recommend coming earlier or just ordering online earlier in the morning for pickup. We got the sesame dark chocolate crepe cake. When you eat in the store, the owner provides you with free cups of tea, which are really great for washing down the cake. The chocolate was super rich, and they did not skimp out on the flavor - super chocolatey. The sesame added such a fun earthy and nutty flavor - I thoroughly enjoyed it! The cake is on the slightly denser side, so was super filling. While on the pricier side, the flavors are super unique and the craft that goes into crepe cakes is commendable. I will be ordering my next cake from here again!

After randomly browsing Yelp and found this place, we happened to be nearby and I decided on an…read moreimpromptu visit on a Saturday afternoon. The place was situated in a quiet plaza just outside of Lawrence Expressway. There's ample parking but it doesn't feel like the location is suitable for a cafe where you can picture sitting inside looking through some big windows facing a busy pedestrian walkway. However, once I stepped inside, I was surprised at how zen and peaceful the decorations were and how fitting it was for a cozy and quiet cafe hangout. The cake shelf was surprisingly busy. And this is where I took one star out because the lines were confusing and the staff skipped me to talk to the group behind me while I was clearly the next to be helped. Luckily another staff member came out from the back kitchen and jumped in to help. The staff spoke fluent mandarin. I was interested in their box cakes. A few of the yelpers raved about their soy milk cake and luckily they had one out for sampling. It was covered with lots of cream and the cake layer was soft and moist, but it was still slightly too sweet for me and I felt that it lacked the tofu kind of soy flavor. Then, I spotted on their menu that they have a black sesame matcha box cake, and black sesame is always my favorite, so I asked for it. They had the last one left! The staff said she had never tried it so she couldn't tell me if it is less sweet than the soy milk cake. Since it was the last one available and I already sampled the soy cake, I decided to give it a try. I am happy that I did. The cake was filled with matcha mousse and tasted light and aromatic with the jasmine kind of matcha flavor. It is definitely less sweet. Unfortunately, it doesn't have as much black sesame as I'd like. But overall, the cake flavor is the kind that I like, subtle, moist, and not too sweet. $38 for a box cake of 4x4 is a bit pricey, but I'm glad that I gave it a try. The cakes were freshly made and tasted best the same day of purchase. They also recommend refrigerating the cake and consuming it within a day or two.
