First time at this restaurant. The environment is really pleasant and there's a nice patio area for warmer weather. I got the chopped vegetable salad with steak. The best part of the meal was the steak, which was very good quality. The rest of the salad was underwhelming, which is why I gave only 3 stars. The quality of the veggies was good but there wasn't a ton of flavor. I substituted a different vinaigrette (whichever the cashier recommended) maybe it would have been better with the miso but I can't have soy. Also, having the meat as an add-on made for an expensive lunch, and $3.50 for iced tea is a lot. Salad and an iced tea was nearly $20. If I go back I'll get something different and probably skip the drink. read more

This place is amazing. The food is ridiculously high quality. I been here 4 times now and have never been disappointed. On the last visit, I ordered the Thai vegan soup, the Mother Earth bowl and added grassfed steak. It was to die for. Do yourself a favor and check this place out! read more

I got home and started to eat my tie dye wrap and it literally had no tofu inside. This was my first time having it so I'm really not sure if it happens often. I was very disappointed. read more

I've found that my favorite quick service restaurants in boulder tend to be places that are healthily craveable, simply inspired, well rounded, and really sustain me when I'm in need of a good energy/nutrients boost..as was the case tonight. The interior/outdoor patio were added bonuses; breathable, well conceptualized, lively, and pleasant. Not to mention service that is attentitive, connecting, and warm-spirited. When I told them I didn't like mushrooms they seemed gratified to replace the mush/onions portion with just onions. I eat-out on occasion, however, I'm confident I'll be back to Flower Child very soon. What I got- mother earth bowl w/steak. read more

This restaurant is amazing. So many plant based options. You can even sit outside with your dog here. Staff is amazing and friendly. Love this restaurant. read more

As someone who is a vegan it's absolutely delightful to be able to order more than half the menu, you don't have that luxury everywhere, even in Boulder. My only qualm is that the menu never changes so not sure they are using what's in season or local produce. Other than that it's a great quick spot to grab a healthy bite, especially with dietary restrictions. read more

All I have to say is that every time we come here, the food is amazing and delicious! And everyone is so nice. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Healthy and filling, it's a must try. read more

Great concept (local produce, organic, sustainability, etc.) but flawed execution! They bring multiple "small plate" dishes on the same plate - even food that shouldn't be touching each other (call it a personal preference, but certain foods are best kept separate on their own plates). The Indian spiced cauliflower was charred, actually burnt! But to add insult to injury, when I asked for it to be redone, the lady looks at the charred plate and says "oh, that looks a little crispy!" Really, lady? That's not "crispy", it's burnt! (See photo.) What they brought back was not even cooked properly. Don't see myself coming back... read more

Flower Child - Charred Cauliflower! - Salad Near Me - Boulder, Colorado

Excellent new restaurant Sort of a similar vibe to Cafe Gratitude, but has poultry and meat options. Service was really good. You order at the counter, casual atmosphere, but nice for lunch. Nice salad options and healthy food options bright and airy. Just don't like the bathroom- it's one of those shared restrooms where you come out and share and it's open partially to the restaurant where people can see you washing your hands. read more

The Mother Earth is a delicious, healthy vegan option. Always a bright and cheery environment. I also love the "yoga mat parking" by the door. read more

Everyone was so sweet and the food was amazing! Thank you guys for working in essential times like this!!!! Got it after a hike and I was so happy read more

Fantastic, super fresh ingredients, top-notch! Great service, beautiful decor, my new favorite place!

So delicious and healthy! And really really appreciate all of their precautions per COVID-19!

Fantastic. My wife and I had a salad with steak, a rice bowl with chicken, and a lemon muffin. All were exceptional and the service was great too. read more

Cute setting. Spacious. Menu is varied and everything we had was perfect! Lots of vegan options yet also for carnivores. The only challenge is finding a table that isn't in a cold draft when the door opens in February. read more

Favorite, fresh new fantastic place in town to eat a delicious lunch or dinner! The people who take your order as well as serve look clean and respectable. I love this place as does everyone else since they have a line of 20 people every time I go in! In fact, forget I said this review because I don't want the line to get any longer. :-) read more

This food is healthy AND delicious. I can't even believe how nice the staff is. I always get the curry no matter the season because it's so delicious. They have delicious lemonades and kombucha which is always a plus since good kombucha that is tapped is hard to come by sometimes. read more

Amazing food! We got the glow bowl and the shrimp bowl! Such fresh flavors!! Also got the table red wine and seasonal sangria, both amazing!

Fabulous! Overpriced for what it is, but this is Boulder and I expect that everywhere. Food was very good! Tofu could be a little more seasoned, mac and cheese was super-rich, and squash/kale was superb! Partner thoroughly enjoyed the curry (I find curry revolting anywhere, but the curry-fan in our group did say it was terrific). Will definitely return! read more

Great restaurant for vegans (and others) but please do something about the tasteless tofu. In the early days it had some flavor but something has gone wrong. read more

I could eat here every day. Nuff said. Love the Mother Earth Bowl and Mediterranean quinoa. High quality great flavor.

The dining room very spacious and modern. The menu is big enough for some variety among a good sized party, or if you visit often. The food is great and dishes are well thought out and compliment one another. The wait time is ok, if there is a line the times can get a bit longer than you might want to wait. The prices are higher than you might expect, and the portions are very small. read more

I gave them a 2nd try and my wife's 1st. Once again I can't believe I paid $50 for the 2 of us (no drinks) for what you get. The soup we ordered was so salty we couldn't eat it. We ordered 2 completely different items and they both tasted the same and once agin too salty to eat! My bowl had the cooks thumb prints all over it. For a cafeteria style place where you get your own water, silverware ect. I wouldn't expect to pay that much. EVEN IN BOULDER! There will never be a 3rd try! read more

Love the ease of ordering food at counter then being served. Lots of healthy flavorful options including GF items.

I stumbled upon this place while seeking a healthy lunch option in Boulder. Upon entering I found in interior calming and inviting. We were pretty hungry so we ordered 2 salads and 2 bowls. All were so tasty but immersed with just too much dressing. I would recommend asking for the dressing on the side next time. Also, all 4 dishes tasted exactly the same even though they were different. Not sure if it was due to the amount of sweet dressing that absorbed the flavors of the dish but definitely not something I expected. read more

Love love love this place! Even I can eat here with my disabilities and allergies. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Yummy fresh good food!

This place has a great vibe! The interior is very hipster-like, and the majority of the menu is health food. The food there is good for a quick bite, I haven't been disappointed by anything there yet. It is pretty expensive for what you get, and it can get loud and crowded during the dinner rush, so I'd suggest getting your meal to-go if you're looking for a quieter setting during that time. I would definitely frequent here for the food if it wasn't so expensive. read more

This was the worst dining experience I have ever had in Boulder. I ordered a piece of the Crushed Avocado Toast because I thought it would be a quick option. After 30 minutes all 8 people in my party (most of whom had ordered large entrees) had been served, including a friend who arrived 15 minutes after I did and ordered the Tomato Toast. When I let the waitress know, it was still another 15 minutes before my food arrived, making it 45 minutes total. For a piece of toast. If the wait wasn't egregious enough, the soft egg on the toast was freezing cold, and the cheese was completely unmelted and falling off of the toast (which was a small piece of sandwich bread). This was easily the worst avocado toast I've ever had, and overall a very underwhelming and disappointing dining experience--especially since they have you tip at the register before you're actually served. read more

Very disappointing. Over priced for small portions. Need to go elsewhere after to get enough and not be hungry. Just because " we are boulder" we do not need vegan concepts ripping us off with this approach. Will never see my $$ again. read more

Stopped in for lunch on a suggestion from Yelp. It was good. Very clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Much larger than it looks from the outside. I had the chicken entree with broccoli & smashed potatoes. Everything was very fresh. I enjoyed the rose petal lemonade. A little pricey to go everyday. But, it is all fresh, healthy ingredients. This restaurant is VERY Boulder! read more

Ate here opening day and had an awesome experience!!! Menu options were super healthy and clean. Great flavors. Atmosphere was spacious and fresh. Super friendly staff. Definitely give this one a try, highly recommend. read more

There are resturants you go to and then there are resturants you love, I love flower Child. I am always playing with my diet trying to find what my body loves and craves. At Flower Child they give you all of these amazing choices so you can build your own meal just the way you love it or you can get one of their great bowls or wraps. If you are a vegan, vegetarian, keto, paleo, pescatarian a whatever you can find amazing food at flower Child. I always build my own bowl and it is just great. My only complaints are there are no organic options that are on the menu and I wish they would go the extra mile and tell me where the produce is coming from. It is relevant and delicious and I recommend this restaurant to everyone. read more

I love the salads here. The food is consistently great, the quality always impeccable, and the service always good! The prices are very reasonable! This place has become a family favorite! read more

Refreshingly Delicious! We've eaten at this place a few times now since they've opened and every time we've been amazed at the texture and wonderful cuisine. If you're looking for vegetarian or vegan options this is the place. Or if you're not but you are just looking for something healthy and would also prefer some animal based protein - they've got you covered as well. The only complaint I have is their menu is a little difficult to read. So take your time or better yet ask the staff any questions you might have. read more

My first visit to this franchise and I am totally impressed! They have a great variety of protein and plant, including healthy choices of grains! Definitely will seek out this restaurant wherever we travel! read more

We had the salmon with brussels sprouts and butternut squash. Very good except the salmon was quite small, salmon was double the size at the flower Child in Las Vegas. We also had the Turkey avocado club with avocado. The restaurant is busy and loud with lots of happy customers. read more

So good! How is everything so flavorful? We tried the Glow Bowl & Forbidden Rice bowl...both were delicious.

So many Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Vegan options; it's great! The Mac and cheese is delicious and is a great side or meal for a child. Service is good, food is quality and it's a nice environment. The restaurant can get pretty loud around six (pm) but that's normal. It's great to come here with kids or with s group as there is something for everyone. The only negative thing about my visit was that I found hair in my food. (Why is their hair in my food wherever I go? Lol) Once I alerted the wait staff of the hair they quickly replaced the dish and the manager came out. The manager apologized and she bought us dessert for the whole table. Very good management and that's why this gets 5 stars even though there was hair involved read more

Unbelievable food and beautiful ambiance! One of the top restaurants I've ever been to. The food is amazing (highly recommend the kale salad with salmon)! The service is great and they create a calm peaceful environment to dine. Love this place!!! read more

Lunch, had glow bowl and added tofu and got a beer shandy. $21. I'd give a five star if it wasn't so pricey. Beer was $5.50. So $15 for a Bowl is the main issue. Everything was clean, restaurant is so cute and bright. food was very tasty. Staff and all over customer service was excellent. Wait for food was reasonable (approx 10 mins). read more
