Still love this casual and cutely decorated spot, but was extremely disappointed to discover the Kouign Amann had been taken out of rotation for the baked goods case (the staff said hopefully it'll be back soon). Instead had a homemade Oreo which didn't disappoint!

Coffee was okay, too sweet for me. I ordered lavender latte for the first time. The service was also okay because they forgot or gave my order to someone else. I had to wait for over 30 mins and asked for where my order was. They probably will never find out if I didn't ask for it. In terms of customer service, they gifted me a ten dollar gift card to apologize for their mistake. The one down side of this place is the cleanness. I saw they used the same towel to clean the table and also the food plate, which makes my appetite go away immediately. I won't recommend this place if you care a lot about hygiene. The vibe of this cafe was similar to Starbucks + Panera bread.

chicken tikka masala naan and achiote chicken sandwich

Ordered ahead and service went smoothly. This flour doesn't have as much seating but wasn't crowded so we found a spot. We got the achiote chicken sandwich and the chicken tikka masala naan with extra tamarind sauce and extra green chutney! The naan was super flavorful and nice and hearty. Loved it. The chicken sandwich was good but not as flavorful in comparison. In general love flour sandwiches and some of their pastries though!

We really loved their almond croissant. One of the better croissants I've had. They mix almonds into a paste inside which is so delicious. We ate it so fast that we didn't get a picture of it . We also tried their breakfast sandwich, chicken sandwich and lemon olive oil cake. The breads were high quality and delicious.. Highly recommend the almond croissant.

This is as good as it looks!

I have to come to this place whenever I come to Cambridge to get my hands on their amazing baked goods. During the holiday season, I always have the chocolate peppermint cupcake. It's stellar - everything else I have tried in the bakery is delicious as well. I also really like the sandwiches. We had two unique ones yesterday - chicken tikka masala, which was on a delicious naan-like bread and sweet potato with blue cheese. The sandwich selections are flavorful. They also have all kinds of coffees and festive drinks around the holidays. Yesterday, the whole store was singing happy birthday to one of the guests and it seems they bought her a free cookie. Flour always makes me smile.

Stopped in Flour with my boyfriend to grab drink after biking. The cafe was nice but fairly loud so we didn't stay inside long. We got a cucumber cooler and a strawberry drink. The strawberry drink was really good but the cucumber was kind of strange. I would go back for drinks again but probably won't be getting the cucumber cooler.

Heard about Flour Bakery and their sticky buns so I had to try it out while I was in Boston! I'm not a huge cake person so I was worried it would be cake-y or flour-y for me. To my surprise, the bun itself turned out really fluffy and chewy. It had a great ratio of nut toppings and caramel sauce to bun itself. They were pretty generous with the amount of pecans. Sweet as expected but perf for the holidays! The drip coffee was fine; got the job done but nothing special. Staff were polite and service was quick. Liked how there was good amount of seating with natural light in this store and seats were clean. Would be interested in trying their other pastries and coffee drinks next time I visit!

This bakery is amazing!! Literally a better version of Tatte, all of the bakery treats are so unique and look so yummy. The raspberry meringue cloud was so much larger than I thought and was super yummy. The cupcake was not super sweet, which is perfect for people who normally don't like the artificial sugariness of standard cupcakes. I also got a cauliflower melt sandwich which blew my mind away as I normally always prefer meat in my sandwiches. My vegetarian friend was the one who introduced this spot to me as they have a pretty decent vegetarian selection. Even if you eat meat, you should still check out their veggie dishes, trust me! There is a kiosk to order by yourself or you can order at the register. The workers here are super sweet as well. Definitely want to come back again !!!

We stopped here thanks to multiple recs from friends. The sticky bun was indeed very good as were the chocolate and other cookies and sweets we ordered. I got so engaged in listening "(ok eavesdropping) on a Harvard MBA's conversation about herself and all of her successes that I only took a few photos.

    Coconut Cake- so good!

    What is their parking like?

Inman Sqaure and Harvard Square are always tough for parking but it depends on the time of day, too. I'd call and ask them.

Do you sell vegan birthday cakes?

Hi Amy, We make a delicious vegan chocolate bundt cake! You can find out more about our cakes here..,https://www.flourbakery.com/catering#cakes. Please let me know if I can help with anything else!

    Can I buy a sourdough?

Hi Sue, yes we have a light sourdough which we call a "country loaf", and we can also sell these in the roll size (used for our roast beef sandwich). I'd recommend calling the bakery to make sure we have these in stock as we only make a few a day.…

I'm vegan. Is there anything I can eat but not containing garlic or onion? Thanks

The spot is known for their Persian spin on great classics, and many of the typical French offerings. I got to try their pistachio croissant and a black sesame latte. Both were very good. The croissant was excellent; dough was perfect, not overly sweet. Tons of pistachio on the inside. It's topped with a hefty amount of what tastes a bit like cream cheese (but it's probably something else, that's just what it reminds me of). Highly recommend trying it. The black sesame latte came recommended by the staff member. Also very good, nice unique flavor and made with in house syrup! I will say though, it was a little bit gritty as you got to the end of the latte. Theres also an area to sit outside and inside. All in all, an amazing spot that I'd love to visit again!

We fell in love with the pastries--each one with a unique Persian spin on flavor. My favorites are still the Kouign-Amann, Pain Aux Raisin, and the Feta-Za'atar and Orange Marzipan Scones. But the true jewel of La Saison is the Kuku Sabzi on Sea Salt Focaccia. It is unbelievably good. What makes La Saison even more special are the owners, Sarah and Soheil. Their warmth, creativity, and genuine care for their customers shine through in everything they do. You can feel their heart in every pastry and bread and every interaction. La Saison has become one of those rare places that feels both special and comforting, and we're grateful it's part of the neighborhood.

G.O.A.T.: My first time trying it, I opted for the Classic English Muffin. The crust is pan-fried, not baked, giving it a slightly crispy texture without being hard, reminiscent of cornbread in a Northeastern Chinese tieguodun鐵鍋燉 (iron pot stew). The inside is soft, chewy, and perfectly moist, with a slightly sticky texture when combined with the sauce. A muffin unlike any I've ever had! The goat cheese butter flavor is rich, the pesto provides a mild nutty aroma, and the unique fragrance of arugula instantly evokes the slightly excessive sunshine of the Mediterranean. The place was extremely busy yet well organized as they were pushing orders out efficiently and in a timely manner without sacrificing the quality of the product. I ordered the iced maple latte and the G.O.A.T. with the addition of bacon on their classic English muffin. The latte was very good. The breakfast sandwich was also delicious. The egg was cooked a little bit more than I would've liked, but the bacon was cooked perfectly, the goat cheese butter added richness, the pesto was fresh and their house made English muffins are excellent. It's obvious that they use great quality ingredients for everything they make. It's also not crazy expensive which is also a plus. It's a little bit out of the way for me, but if I'm ever around Union Square again I'll make a point to return!

Located on Dunster Street, the shop is designed for efficiency, with a straightforward layout that keeps the line moving even during busy hours. There are a few counter seats inside, but it's primarily a grab-and-go destination where most people leave carrying one of the bakery's signature string-tied pastry boxes. The cannolis are the main reason to visit, and they certainly live up to their reputation in terms of size. The classic chocolate chip cannoli is generously filled from end to end with a rich, sweet ricotta cream, while the crisp shell provides just the right amount of crunch. If you're looking for something a little different, the Florentine cannoli is an excellent choice. Its honey-nut shell adds an extra layer of texture and a subtle caramelized flavor that pairs beautifully with the creamy filling. Beyond the cannolis, the bakery offers an impressive selection of Italian pastries, cookies, cakes, and other desserts. The lobster tails are another popular option, with flaky layers surrounding a rich cream filling, and the display cases are filled with enough variety to make it difficult to choose just one item. Prices are a bit higher than your average neighborhood bakery, but the portions are generous enough that many pastries can easily be shared. Service is quick and efficient, with staff focused on keeping the line moving throughout the day. Since seating is limited, it's worth taking your pastries to nearby Harvard Yard or the Charles River, where you can enjoy them at a more relaxed pace. Mike's Pastry may be best known for its North End flagship, but the Cambridge location delivers the same oversized cannolis and classic Italian desserts in a much more convenient setting. Whether you're craving the original chocolate chip cannoli or one of their many other pastries, it's an easy stop whenever you're spending time around Harvard Square.
