I really love your croissants; they are honestly some of the best I have ever tasted. The crust is perfectly golden and flaky, while the inside remains incredibly soft, airy, and buttery. It is clear that a lot of care goes into the baking process here. I am already looking forward to my next visit so I can enjoy another one with a hot cup of coffee. Thank you for providing such a high-quality treat and excellent service. I will definitely be back soon!

Michette is cranking out some of the best croissants here! You can smell the bakery while walking down the street. The wait in line to get inside wasn't bad at all! I got a ham and gruyere croissant, a bun with pistachio cream, and a raspberry matcha latte (I think this was on the special/seasonal menu!). Everything is for takeout only. The croissant was so flaky and literally melted in my mouth. The raspberry matcha latte was smooth and perfectly sweet. The pistachio cream bun was not sweet enough for me, but was soft and had a nice texture. I'd love to come back and try the plethora of other baked goods and drinks they have to offer!

Since moving to Somerville recently, Michette has become one of my favorite spots to grab a coffee and croissant to go. The space is very small, fit with a counter for check out and a display case with fresh baked goods of the day. This grab-and-go style bakery (no seating available) reminds me of the cute hole-in-the-wall cafes across Europe. Menu highlights : - Flaky and buttery croissants in multiple forms (sweet and savory) - Soft and flavorful focaccias offered in different styles - Other tasty treats like cookies, cinnamon rolls, etc.! - Delicious matcha lattes and pistachio lattes Every time I have stopped by I've been so happy with the service, and goodies! I will definitely become a regular here (:

Walked by here and saw a crowd outside this bakery and decided to check it out. It's a tiny space with a lot of fresh baked options to choose from. I picked a croissant with ham, Gruyère cheese and Dijon mustard baked into which was delicious. I was tempted to take it home and warm it up a bit but ended up sitting out from of the bakery and eating it right away. The maple coffee was also delicious. As I sat out front more and more people walked in, who seemed like this was part of their regular Saturday morning routine. This might become mine now too.

My go to cafe in this side of Somerville they have great pastries and solid drinks. I love that they also offer seasonal options as well. The space itself is small so it gets a little cramped and crowded when they get busy but the service is always quick so the line moves fast at least.

This is the best bakery in Boston by far! I have been here a few times now and every single time the pastries are baked to perfection. I ordered ahead of time this time around and I am glad I did because everything I pre-ordered was already sold out by 10am on a Sunday morning. The service was quick and you can walk up if you have a pre-order which is nice. I got an almond croissant, ham and cheese croissant and a quava roll. Almond croissant was perfection! 9/10 Ham and cheese could do with more ham. 8/10 The quava roll was nice but I properly would try something new the next time. 8/10 I also got a cortado. I do prefer skim milk in my coffee but they didn't have any, which is weird but I did it with whole milk and I really enjoyed it! Broadsheet supply their coffee beans so I knew it would be nice! Have been 3 times now and will be back many more!!!

I've had their cookies and croissants which are AMAZING. I went on a Saturday on an incredibly rainy and cold day, and when I got there around 10 am, we had to wait outside for a moment until the line was shorter inside. The interior is really small but has a couple of standing areas to quickly eat and leave. They have monthly coffee specials and this month is peanut butter vanilla latte. This time, I got the sausage focaccia for $6.75. I think the ratio was off- the bread was too much for the little smattering of sauce and one piece of sausage per slice is not enough in my opinion. I was a little disappointed today

This was our second visit to Michette. Their pastries are always top notch and we enjoyed almond croissant , sesame pie, and chocolate pastry. We both got delicious pistachio latte. The prices were reasonable as well. The vibe is great and they also sell merchandises with their logo/art on them (tumbler, sock, pins, etc.). Service is quick and efficient!

I had cheesecake and pain Swiss. Both are really delicious!! Pain is very crispy and tasty. Michette is now my favorite place in Somerville.

One of the best chocolate chip cookies in the area!! The staff is nice but it's very small inside- no seating so definitely more of a pickup spot.

As an ex-big law alumna myself, I can appreciate the trajectory of Thomas, the owner of Michette who exited the big law life and is now making some of the best croissants and pastries I've had. Pro-tip: come here early on the weekends to avoid the lines and also snap up the more popular offerings before they run out. We didn't get a chance to try either the chocolate croissant or the chocolate almond croissant but ... Just look at the beautiful layers in the plain croissant and the pain suisse. I was eating elsewhere soon so wanted to conserve stomach space and originally planned to consume just half of my croissant. Well. Talk about a fool's errand. It was gone in a few bites. Nice, flaky, lots of chew in the inner soft part, crumbs everywhere (as it should be). I think the obvious comparison is Colette - Colette's version is a tad less heavy on the butter, a little more airy. Both are ones I'd eat again without question. I'll be back to try the focaccia, which looked amazing. It's times like these where I wish we had better options in Newton and also where I'm kind of glad I need to go out of my way to get these goodies. Street parking only, have to download the Park app or bring quarters.

Almond croissant - they don't skimp on the frangipane filling!

This is one of the fewer bakeries in Boston that has left me satisfied with my late night door dash…read morecravings. I've tried the popular bakeries in the north end and this one is far better than Mike's or Modern, however Vitorria's lobster roll is superior. What we ordered: -Chocolate whoopie: 5/5, I truly loved this. It's huge, the cake is airy, and the filling is a light whipped cream. -Chocolate Bomb: 4/5, just a heads up door dash does not describe this right. It's a giant ball of peanut butter whipped filling covered in chocolate; delicious. -Lobster tail: 4/5, the croissant shell was perfectly crispy yet soft- I was very impressed, however I prefer the creamier, denser cream filling and this was more of a whipped cream filling, which is why I like Vittoria's more. -Cannoli: 5/5, I do not like cannolis but my boyfriend said it was bomb, no notes. -Eclair: 3/5, simple and fine -Cream puff: 3/5, simple and fine, again used a whipped filling rather than heavier cream -Chocolate mousse cup: 5/5, I don't know if they included this in our order on accident or purpose (we did not order it) but I'm SO happy they did because it was delicious. So light but so flavorful I loved it. I would 100% be back here for the whoopie pies and chocolate mousse cups.
