Sodo breakfast sandwich and cheesy grits! Sooo good and not overly heavy!!!!!

This restaurant was everything the reviews made it out to be!!!!! I studied the reviews long and hard before visiting and knew exactly what I wanted to try for my breakfast meal. I got the Sodo Breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, arugula, tomato and cayenne aioli (not overly spicy) with a side of cheddar grits like many reviews recommended! The grits of course were the star of the show! They came out pipping hot, very creamy with a little bit of chives on top! My husband loved them too and ended up eating half. The sandwich was also very good with the right amount of aioli and tons of fresh arugula. The bread was nice and soft and let's just say there was nothing left on my plate when I was done. I even convinced my husband to join me and order something. He was very skeptical that there was no meat, but thanks to the yelpers I knew exactly what to recommend that would meet his taste (and bonus...I really wanted to try lol). He got the fresh baked, made daily cinnamon roll! That baby came out hot, smelling amazing, and full of cream cheese icing!!! He devoured it and so did I! His vote for best item went to the grits but I tend to lean more toward the cinnamon roll! Service was surprisingly fast so if we had less time this wouldn't have been a terrible option to stop and still make our flight! The servers were also super sweet, one even offered to refill my water bottle since I was heading out. Honestly tempted to go back for lunch.... lol

Nice place for a sit-down meal, but only because of the lack of options nearby. It was good to have restaurant service and Floret has healthy options, but I don't know if I'd come back. The food is ok but short of being memorable, especially for the price. Service was friendly but they were busy and understaffed. I got the scramble with grits and the whole meal was very under seasoned. Cappuccino was bitter as well.

Our go to breakfast stop at SeaTac Airport. Fantastic food and pretty quick service. Everything we have tried has been excellent. Also have a to- go stand next to the restaurant. Must tries are the breakfast platter (garlic greens). If you have someone to share with, a cinnamon roll. Their coffees are great as week.

My favorite stop at SeaTac! Getting to the airport early is never fun but love being able to have a seat and a hearty but healthy meal. The mango matcha is perfectly balanced with sweetness and earthy matcha. Loved the winter scramble with goat cheese: the warm scramble and cold cheese melt into one delicious bite. The toast was also delicious, thick, and perfectly toasted. Service was quick and friendly.

Wow! For airport food, Floret must be one of the best places I have ever eaten. Local Reddit pages mention this place as the only spot worth eating in the airport, and I might agree! On our way out of SEA, I picked up a slice of the famous coconut cake, the chia pudding, and a latte for the wife. The location is near the front of the A terminal, and it's a sit-down restaurant as well as a small grab-and-go area. I would have loved to sit and eat here, but we decided on just some quick grab-and-go options. The staff was kind enough, but I can't comment too much on the service since it was just grab-and-go. Boy oh boy, that coconut cake was incredible. I could eat the entire cake. It's a hefty slice filled with delicious coconut cream and topped with a cream cheese frosting, which is to die for. The chia pudding was so fresh, and the coffee was great too. Stumptown Coffee Roasters is never a let-down. I will be thinking about that cake for a long time. Thank you, Floret, for creating a new craving which I can only fulfill by flying to SEA.

Let me RAVE about the food here at Floret! I had the portobello mushroom French dip and it was INCREDIBLE! The mushrooms were perfectly cooked, there was a cheese pull, the hoagie was a balance of chewy and crisp, and the au jus was so flavorful I ended up drinking it from the cup. The yam fries on the side were some of the best yam or sweet potato fries I've ever had. Normally I'm not a fan of other types of fries outside traditional potato, but these were fantastic. The dipping sauces, especially the garden aioli, were tasty! I drank the rosemary lemonade which was a delicious beverage to have with my food. It wasn't too sweet and you could smell and taste the rosemary, which was present but not too strong. I finished my meal with the coconut cake and YUM! Whether you love coconut or are not a fan, I think you'll love this cake! Four layers of cake an almond-coconut cream alternated beautifully and was coated with a coconut icing that brought everything together. The mango coulis provided relief and great flavor from the decadent cake. It took a little bit of time to be seated and have my order taken, but it appears there was only 2 people on the floor, and it was a busy Friday evening and each person was taking orders, serving, making drinks, etc.; so they did a good job making it work! They provided their input when I asked for their recommendations. Once I ordered, food came out quickly! The prices seemed reasonable; keep in mind its airport dining prices. They offer both bar and table seating, providing a casual and comfortable environment. If you're at SEATAC airport and are looking for a tasty vegetarian bite to eat, make sure to check out Floret!

The cashier was incredibly friendly and helpful. Great way to start my day with a long flight ahead of me. The lavender fields latte was a work of art and delicious too. Wasn't hot enough though which was very strange. It was barely room temp. But the almond pinwheel pastry was delicious- wish they had a way of heating it up.

One of the most exciting parts of traveling for me is stopping at Floret on the way out -- and sometimes even on the way home. It's genuinely one of the highlights of Sea-Tac Airport. Their coffee is consistently excellent. I still miss the lemon crème latte (I wish it weren't seasonal) -- it tastes exactly like a lemon bar in a cup. I also love the smoky maple and lavender fields lattes. Great coffee, fantastic baristas, and honestly the cutest cups. The space itself is beautifully designed and thoughtfully laid out. There's a welcoming sit-down area if you want to stay and eat, as well as a seamless take-out experience that never feels like a rushed airport afterthought. Instead of a cramped window, you're greeted with a gorgeous bakery case, plus a well-curated selection of salads, fruits, juices, and grab-and-go options. Food-wise, everything I've tried has been spot on. The overnight oats and chia seeds with mango purée are one of my favorites, and the "fancy sandwich" (their focaccia, egg, and sauce combo) is delicious and satisfying. I've also had the tofu sandwich on an evening return and can confirm the sweet potato fries always hit. Floret manages to feel calm, nourishing, and genuinely enjoyable -- which is no small feat in an airport. It's a place I actually look forward to visiting every time I travel.

As far as airport restaurants go, Floret makes fresh, healthy-feeling, and hearty meals. I love Cafe Flora in Seattle and this sister restaurant does it justice for sure. I had the autumn scramble ($20) and it was wonderful. The garlicky greens are also very nice, and the sourdough toast is high quality with a delightful chew. I suppose if I had any nit it would be the tables are so close together and it's kind of expensive, but hey it's Seattle and in the airport, so, it makes sense. Maybe next time I will get to try one of the amazing sounding drinks. The staff were so pleasant :)

Floret is hands down my go-to spot at SEA. I'm usually not someone who eats at airports, but this place is the exception every single time. The food, pastries, and coffee are fantastic. Even the prices are surprisingly reasonable for an airport in one of the most expensive cities in the country. Service is warm, friendly, and very attentive. Truly no different than what you'd expect at a great standalone cafe. Everything we've had has been fresh and delicious. Even if you just stop for a latte, it's worth it. The coffee is consistently excellent. The smoky maple is a favorite and the baristas really know what they're doing. Also worth noting, the cups are genuinely cute, which somehow makes airport coffee even better. The space itself is beautifully designed and provides lots of natural light. There is plenty of seating but the grab-and-go option is quick and efficient without feeling rushed. There is a large bakery case and a great selection of salads and other quick bites.

It was a truly wonderful bite before flying out. I miss the mushroom pie already. It was even better than expected. It was served nicely warm with perfectly baked dough and a mushroom filling full of flavor. The egg frittata was also warm and generously sized, especially for an airport meal. At $9, it felt like a great deal. If you like spicy food like I do, adding a little Cholula hot togo packet sauce made it absolutely perfect. Both items were $9 each, very convenient. Even though busy at the airport. This little cozy place staffs are friendly as well.

This place is great, I stumbled on here my sheer mishap. My gate was right next door, ordered some wine which they have a good selection of reds and ordered some food. Found out later, it's all vegetarian and it was still a solid choice from anything here read more

Airports are trying very hard to provide decent restaurant choices. Seatac has all these counter take out places but I really needed a sit down service place after an incredibly long and arduous wait at the security check in line. Found Floret and seated immediately although it was crowded. The menu is broad enough, for an airport place, and I decided on an Asian noodle (soba) salad. It was good and filling enough. This is apparently a...non meat restaurant in an airport. So obviously everything is over priced...and...its is like 18 bucks for a grilled cheese...and only YAM FRIES!!? Drinks are OK, not enough alcohol in them for the price, but again...airport dining. We will however sit here for as long as possible while enduring our prolonged layover and ill pretend that I'm interested in ordering off of their uninspired menu. The breakfast egg, cheese and avocado sandwich had no source of sodium and therefore no flavor...also I can't stress enough the blandness of yam fries!! read more

The offspring of an early all veg restaurant in Seattle, Floret is a spot I can depend on for dang tasty food no matter what (great coffee too). This is a great little spot in the airport next door to our Delta gate. The branding was cute and food on the tables looked good so my daughter and I came in for a quick meal. Lots of beers on tap. The food is vegetarian with clear listing of allergies on the menu which I appreciate. We split the grilled cheese and fries. The sandwich was good but oddly lacking flavor? Crispy tofu sandwich was the best meal I've ever had at an airport. Airport caveat aside, also a fantastic and filling vegetarian meal. Other people in the party thought the food was enough to take leftovers in to-go boxes. They enjoyed a breakfast sandwich, a grain bowl, and house made chips. Lattes were lovely except one with flavor in it that was too sweet for the person who ordered it. It's a bit slow to get seated and the ambiance is unavoidably airporty, complete with people's bags causing traffic jams between tables, but the servers are very nice and the food was pretty quick to come out. Airport food is on the up and up, if Floret at Sea-Tac is any indication! We had one of the tastiest quesadillas here, vegetarian or otherwise. It was so delicious that we are scheming to replicate it here at home, only to see that the menu listed the vegetables as "farmer's market vegetables." Well, we won't be foiled that easily. The traveler's chai was a bit watery, but it was a nice large cup for me and my little guy to share. Service here is speedy. Our order was taken within a few minutes of sitting down and it all came out not long after that. We weren't in a hurry at all, but it's nice to know that it would still have been possible to grab a quick bite if we were short on time. read more

The Brussel sprouts and yams are pretty bomb, top that off with a double gin and tonic and you got yourself a happy customer I've walked past this restaurant a couple thousand l times flying through SeaTac. This time I was hungry, so I stopped and it thoroughly delivered. read more

For an airport restaurant, this place is undeniably your best option. We had the black bean burger with yam fries and the tofu rice bowl, as well as the bucha elixir. The fries were hot, crispy and fresh. Everything tastes like it was prepared in house. The tofu rice bowl was unfortunately mostly brown rice; however the ingredients were high quality. There were four spicy cubes of sriracha tofu. Also the tofu bowl was not in an actual bowl. It was a plate of fried rice. The service was welcoming and when we didn't like the elixir, our server brought us a plain kombucha comped, the act of a great server. Finally, the restaurant is spacious, with room for luggage, and well decorated. Lighting is suitable for reading, but not too bright for socializing. The location, by the way, is next to Gate A1. Check out the "you look radishing" neon signage. read more

Stopped in for a quick solo visit today. The beautiful setting and view is what drew me in. I asked the waiter what food he recommended and he told me the quiche and the Fried Brussels Sprouts, so I ordered them both. The food is very good. Extremely good if you consider this is airport food. The quiche was tender, buttery, and flaky. The Brussels Sprouts were crispy and had fried garlic sprinkled on them with a vinegar-y dipping sauce. I ordered a fun colorful cocktail called Purple Rain, which had gin and rosé. Very refreshing and tasty. I was on my own, so I only ate about half of everything. I would encourage others to share food here, the size of the dishes is plentiful! Everything on the menu is vegetarian, and there are many gluten free and vegan options. There's also fresh local Rainer draft beer and other rotating taps available. Prices are a little high, but I suppose that's pretty common in airports. There's lots of new spots to eat and drink in SeaTac, and I definitely have to recommend this cool little cafe out of them if you're on a layover. read more

I might have expected too much. This place was recommended to me. I tried the portobello. It wasn't. Sliced button mushrooms instead. There is a huge difference. The menu does not match what you get. The meal was kind of empty. The yam fries sounded good until the salt overwhelmed me. Let me decide how much I want, please. Way too much. The drinks were the highlight. read more

Hands-down the WORSSSSST coffee shop I've ever been to! I travel a lot for work and I do enjoy stopping to try new coffee (i'm a Starbucks girl) and they have a barista promise to remake the drink if it's made incorrectly or not to your expectations! I ordered a drink from this café and it was a dirty chai tea latte and it wasn't good at all! I walked away from the café and took a few sips came back and ask for a remake. - not only did she tell me I couldn't get a different drink but she tried to make me pay for a new drink (her statement was if everyone came back saying they didn't like their drink they just be giving out free drinks and they're locally sourced) I guess I understand that but considering it's my first time here to Seattle let alone this airport it should've been disclosed that they're chai is it like normal chai. I won't be visiting this place ever again, and if you're a coffee goer just stick to what you know. read more

This is the store next to the B gates in Seattle Airport. I got coffee here and ordered it extra hot. I really got the coffee extra hot the way I love. The coffee was great and the staff are friendly and polite. They also have some sandwiches and stuff, but I haven't tried them. read more

I am so spoiled by SFO. If you've ever eaten there, you'll know it pretty much reflects my hometowns' amazing culinary scene. As a native San Franciscan - I never take for granted how culinary excellence is a readily available option every day. Along with that comes the benefit of finding food that meets dietary restrictions without compromising quality and taste. Floret was that for me - but not at SFO. At Sea-Tac Airport. Lovely gluten free options that are also meat free made me super happy. I am not a vegetarian or vegan any longer, but I do appreciate wonderfully executed meatless meals. The vitamin C packed kombucha? Excellent! I was really happy my departing flight gate was changed otherwise I would never have stumbled upon this option for a great, healthy, truly gluten free, delicious lunch! Located near Gate A1 next to Delta Lounge...Stopped here for lunch...was very pleasantly surprised w the menu...had the Portobello Mushroom Aujus w Sweet potato fries...SO good! The bread was fresh, the mushroom & swiss seasoned perfectly, the fries crisp, the dipping aujus was also tasty...and to drink I had a spicy kombucha which was also good. Service was very friendly & attentive. Has table seating or bar seating or to go options. Attentive service despite the busy location. Varied menu - I am not vegetarian and it took me a few minutes to even notice that there is no meat on the menu. Summary: if you're at SeaTac and hungry, stop reading and eat here - it's fantastic! Finding a good airport restaurant is practically unheard of. As someone who flies regularly and has been to over 50 airports, I can count how many times I've enjoyed airport food on one hand. Floret is a shining exception to the rule, serving delicious, reasonably-priced fare - *and* it's all vegetarian! Of the two times I've eaten here, they've not only exceeded expectations for an airport restaurant, but the food and drinks stand alone as legitimately excellent. Going forward, I plan on getting to the airport a bit earlier just so I can have a meal here before my flight. Food/drinks: I loved the breakfast scramble and classic eggs, both with garlicky greens and hashbrowns. The avocado toast was delicious, as was the iced strawberry matcha. The yogurt bowl is also tasty. Finally, the portions are quite generous - none of that "pay $20 for one hashbrown" business here. Service: Service is wonderful; the servers nailed my order, checked in regularly throughout the meal, were extremely courteous, and didn't make me feel rushed at all. Ambiance: Ambiance is probably the hardest category to excel in, because, well... you're in an airport. Regardless, it still feels welcoming and warm given those constraints, primarily due to the servers. Price: Pricing is typical to slightly-higher-than-typical for an airport, but, given the quality, it's hands-down better value than anything else I've tried. Also, they take meal vouchers, so if you've got 'em, use them here! In short, Floret is a fantastic little spot that deserves your business, and I highly recommend you check them out. read more

Seattle Airport. Food is good. However the Lead waiter Grey Haired Tall Man with A Bun, asked my adjoining 2 family members to leave as they brought their own food in. 1 is a child and 1 is my husband. I spent $30 here just on my own food, and the way in which he drew attention to the matter and was so curt was unnecesary. Don't plan on eating here if any family member decides to have a coffee or eatery w them. There is no sign posted about this, and when asked he said...No we do not. I'm thankful I found Floret through Yelp. I was on business and staying nearby and being a mostly plant based diner wanted to find something in the vast expanse of great plant based dining in the Seattle area without having to go into town. Floret popped up in SeaTac and wow. Had to visit. Its located towards the A gates in SeaTac and while unfortunately the sit down portion of the restaurant doesn't open till 6 am (early flight) they have a take and go area that opens much earlier. Both visits I got the Floret burrito which was very good, with tofu, beans, veggies, amazingness all wrapped in a flour tortilla and warmed before being served. I also got a Field Roast wrap to go which was also delicious. They serve coffee and while I'm not a coffee drinker normally I wanted to try their cold brew but unfortunately even at 6 am they were out. Bummer. I really want to try the vegan biscuits and gravy on the menu for sit down when I have more time. All in all, great, quick service with some plant based options. My flight was flying out of terminal S again and I knew that there wasn't much food options over there. I happened to come across this place while walking around the main terminal. I had ordered a hummingbird muffin and gingerbeer to hold me over for a little snack before my plane ride. The muffin was good- moist and tasty. The gingerbeer was okay. One of the best vegan airports breakfasts I've ever had! The space is very cute and doesn't 100 feel like an airport. I had a nice Stumptown black drip coffee and their vegan breakfast platter with excellent tofu scramble and super delicious garlicky kale. I would get it again for sure! Eating at the airport is expensive and usually not worth it. I was near the A gates at SeaTac airport and stumbled upon this little gem of a dining spot. I believe the menu is meatless, which did not bother me. I ordered the portabello dip sandwich with sweet potato fries. Ummmm....DE-LISH!! I was so very pleased with the meal. They didn't have what I wanted on the quick take out but my flight was delayed by over an hour so I sat down and was looking forward to the cinnamon roll. Did seem anywhere as fresh or soft as when I've had it at Cafe flora in the city. The avocado sandwich was good, but the avacado spread was so minimal that I told the server about it and at least they brought more out of it in a tiny bowl. A new 1 month-ish old little sister cafe of Cafe Flora (which is why they are called Floret..how cute!!) Inside SeaTac that finally addresses the shortage of vegan/vegetarian or health conscious dining at the airport. I was seriously so happy to find out about Floret (along terminal A) and it easily would be my preferred dining place at SeaTac at the moment. All the items on the menu are either vegan/vegetarian, with some being gluten free, too. The space is cute, modern decor that also allows you to dine and relax in a good environment and away from the rush feeling. I opted for the French dip sandwich and a rosemary lemonade and was super happy with my choice. Although the price was so steep at $4.50, The lemonade was so refreshing and I love a stronger rosemary scent that was infused in it. The yam fries along with aioli tasted great and the sandwich came with caramelized onions +mushroom on a sesame baguette...the mushroom was so meaty and went well with the ooo...melted cheese...definitely hit a spot for me ever since I attempted to become vegetarian this year. The portion was so filling that even though I thought I'd order a dessert too (coconut pastry sounds yummy!), I had to realized that I was full already and swallowed my pride and gluttony urge to save trying their dessert for the next time I'm at SeaTac. Less than a week later, I am back on yet another pass through the airport, and I knew where I was eating lunch. To my delight they were serving brunch until 1, so I chowed down heartily on the vegan Southern Platter - seasoned tofu, garlicky greens, and rosemary biscuit and gravy. Unbelievable!! Floret at Sea-Tac is a great find. * Plant-forward and allergy-friendly (not everything is vegan, but clearly labeled) * Tofu sandwich (vegan) -- juicy, flavorful, actually satisfying * Yam fries -- so good For comparison, I checked Pei Wei Asian Kitchen nearby. They do have tofu dishes, but they're not fully vegan (oyster sauce, honey, etc.). Good to know if you're just going plant-heavy--but not the same if you need true vegan. That's where Floret stands out--you can order with confidence and actually enjoy it. This was from the sit-down menu (not grab-and-go) and worth the stop. read more

Loved the food and very quick service. We loved the trendy decor. It didn't even feel like we were in the airport. This is a great place for if you want good, sit down restaurant food and not greasy burgers from McDonald's! Accommodating with special food requests as well. We will certainly be back next time we are travelling. read more

Great food which is even all that much more impressive because its in the airport where you rarely get such a thing. Even better than the food however was the incredible service! We were seated fast served fast and they brought napkins and ketchup lickety split when we asked for them. Great experience! read more

Their cocktails are as weak as their vegan menus, food is inedible for a straight cis male, and the top knot wearing bartender is exactly how you'd think he'd be... if you want a hearty breakfast with a good stiff drink, go somewhere else. fuck this place. read more
