I was kind of nervous to go in for an eye exam at this time because of COVID, but they really made me feel safe at Flores Optometry. They are taking all the steps needed to keep everyone safe (wait in car until notified, check temperature at entrance, wash hands right after you enter and sanitizing everything). Dr. Lilly was very professional and very nice. She was wearing a face shield on top of her face mask, as well as gloves on her hands. I went here today for an eye exam appointment. Once I came I was greeted with a smile and was welcomed in as soon as I walked in. The doctor was very friendly and explained my concern very well. The assistant that helped me select my frame for my glasses was very patient with me and also helped me select one that would look good on my face which I ask her help I was pleased. I love this optometry office. They take health and safety precautions very seriously as there are many steps to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in their office. They texted me with several reminders (very helpful for someone like me with ADHD). They have lovely name brand frames as well as other more basic options. I opted for an extra eye exam that charts your internal eye health (very helpful for people with chronic diseases or to keep a longitudinal comparison). read more

I have been coming to this location since 2014/2015. Dr. Rosie is friendly and quite peppy compared to my old optometrist who didn't say very much. My sister and I recommended Dr. Rosie to my brother, but he says it's too expensive so goes to Target instead. I highly recommend Dr. Rosie if you have insurance or have a lot of spare money. It can get very costly if you are blind like me---all the extra stuff like high index lenses, anti-reflective, scratch-resistance coating etc can get a little pricey The contacts eye exam and the glasses eye exam are completely separate. You have to pay for each one if you decide to get contacts AND glasses. After more than ten years, I decided to buy some contacts for swimming. When I was about to try on some of the trial lenses, one of the optician ladies told me that they charge $30 if they have to teach you how to put in your contacts. This is not covered by insurance, so I sat there and tried my best to shove it on my eyeballs. Overall, quality service and products, but a little pricey compared to other optometry places. Well, at least you get what you pay for. read more

The customer service was overbearing. They texted me several times to confirm my appointment, including an hour before, and I dutifully responded yes each time. Then they called me when I was one minute late. I was right outside their parking lot and lost my GPS direction due to the call; as a result, I missed the entrance to the parking lot and had to drive around for quite a bit to go back. They already have a strict no-show policy where tardiness counts as a no-show. It seems so unnecessary to treat their customers like irresponsible children. (I was a new customer; no reason to believe I would flake.) When I was picking out my frames, they initially started with some pretty expensive choices and no one bothered to ask me what my budget might be. I had to make an effort to find the price stickers and tell them I want to stick within my insurance coverage (which was quite good). At this point, they brought out the cheapest options available (a couple hundred below my coverage). It was just very strange why they couldn't bring me options close to the top of my range. Every other optometry shop tried to be helpful like describing pros and cons of the different frame material (metal v. plastic for example), which color or shape looks good on your face, etc.; here they offered absolutely no help. They just took out frame after frame and were otherwise silent. In the end, I just picked one so I could get out of there. The eye drop that the optometrist recommended didn't help my dryness at all. I switched back to my old eye drop and am much happier. read more
