This days journey takes me to the states capital, I was looking for some flowers but I wanted something different. "Flor Keeps" fit the bill, they have dried flowers that will last for a long time. As you enter you see a wide variety of colors and a very helpful people. This flower shop is quite unique, the flowers are very colorful and beautiful. You'll not be disappointed with this shop.

so many options of premade flowers!

Flor Keeps is such a unique spot and concept of giving someone (or yourself) flowers. These flowers are dried and gorgeous for an exceptional price! There is such a variety of flowers to choose from and variety of colors that you will find it very hard not to want to gift yourself a bouquet too on top of who you came in for. We have come in two times this year because of the gorgeous colorful options of flowers and the price point. This shop is also super close to our spot in South Austin in a convenient shopping area with other local shops. The first time we walked in was for Mother's Day and there were plenty of options to choose from. We were even greeted by the owner and showed around on this day. It was nice to get orientated on the different flowers and the beautiful vases and pre-selected flowers bundled together. We will definitely continue to be customers here as the concept is unique, the flowers last for over 1 year, and the service is friendly and local!

This place is super cute! They offer bouquets by themselves or in a vase already arranged. I love how all the flowers were arranged by color scheme so it wasn't overwhelming to look at. There was one employee working the store, there was a small crowd when we came in and a delivery at the same time and he handled it very well. He was very knowledgeable about the store and care for the flowers after we purchased them. The prices range from $15 to over a $100 but with a wide selection there's a lot for anyone to choose from.

Super cute dried floral shop. The store is color coded with various bouquet options. You can also select from other pieces as gifts or something to add to your office etc. I think it'd be cool if you could actually pull individual pieces and create your own bouquet. Apparently many others have told the employees that over the years but they're not sure if the owners will ever try that option.

My husband surprised me with a cute red floral bouquet from here for Valentine's Day. It's amazing that the flowers last 10 months to a year without any water and smell really fragrant. For $40 including the vase this place seems like a really good value. I'm already looking forward to my birthday flowers from here!

So happy to finally visit! They specialize in dried flowers and the interior is incredibly decorated. It smells nice inside as well. Lots of reasonably priced bouquets which last about a year. I want to come back to get a bigger bouquet! Service was knowledgeable and fast. Lots of space in the parking lot.

Flor Keeps is located in a new "strip center" off S Congress. There's a sign, but the store front is not visible from the street. Once you've found it (and there's plenty of parking, Yay!), you're in for a treat! Flor Keeps specializes in dried flowers---pre-made arrangements and bouquets. The shop is beautiful, and the owners and staff were friendly and helpful. Check it out!

A year ago, I went to Seattle and bought dried flowers and cumbersomely brought back two bouquets to display in my apartment. I'm pretty sure dried flowers only last for about a year, so my bouquets are nearing the end. I'm so glad this place opened because it's so adorable and actually not badly priced. The flower bouquets are gorgeous and the entire store is so beautiful. For flowers that brighten your home and bring a smile to your face, Flor Keeps is absolutely worth it.

The owner, Santiago, greeted my fiancé & I warmly, then followed with a question if we had ever been to this establishment.

Jenny was extremely helpful, and worked with us to ensure our floral needs were met. We wanted coral peonies (a premium flower, so more expensive), and Jenny informed us that the coral color would not be in season for when we wanted it. She worked with us to ensure we understood what we were asking, and how she could accommodate our needs. Since peonies are huge-yet beautiful flowers, she informed us that they would not be ideal for boutonnieres or wrist corsages. She suggested ranunculus (which are like mini-peonies) and I AM NOW OBSESSED WITH THEM! They are beautiful delicate flowers and they worked for boutonnieres more than I could have even imagined! They perfectly suited our theme! We were also able to get centerpiece rentals through Jenny and Texas Blooms, and it was some of the best money we spent! Not only was it comparable to what you would find online price wise, we don't have to store any of the pieces. We also adjusted the amount of centerpieces to lower than the original projection. Jenny was able to work with us to give smaller flower pieces for our cocktail tables instead of the original amount of centerpieces needed. It was very easy, and a relief to work with Jenny to make our small amount of floral needs come true! Photos by: Two Pair Photography

She was doing something with a plant that was so interesting, I kept sneaking little glances. I didn't want to ask her what because I didn't want her to know I was clueless about the world of beautiful plants. But I was in the area with a client, and the store caught my attention. It says "plants" and "parties" on the outside. I stopped in, saw all the greenery, and thought, "This is the perfect place to host a plant party." I have two young ladies in the family who are building their own plant garden, including veggies, and I'd like to surprise them with a plant party. I walked around admiring the plants; they stood so tall, healthy, and gorgeous in their containers. I actually wanted to purchase one, but didn't know the protocol, like whether it would stay inside the container or if I had to take it without the container. So I decided I'll do a little research and then return. But most of all, this is such a beautiful store and a great place to have a plant party! In route to a bookstore, I noticed the succulent store and decided to pop in. Succulent Native is a plant boutique in Austin, Texas, specializing in succulents, cacti, and creative plant arrangements. Quite honestly, I never knew that there were so many permutations of succulents. I actually believe I might be able to keep a succulent alive since they require little maintenance. I learned from the store manager that they host succulent parties. That would be a cool way to spend time with family and friends. In addition, while they have some beautiful plants, some can be a bit pricey. With that said, there is a section of the store that has some reasonably priced smaller plants. There's a little something for everyone.
