Blackbird knows what they are doing ! First time sending flowers to my BFF4L for her bday and I'm so happy I chose this place. I live in Chicago and have never ordered flowers from anywhere in ATX so I came here (Yelp) first and found Blackbird. There were so many pictures of their arrangements so I went to their website. They had several options ranging from a more cost effective bouquet to very elaborate pricier arrangements. They have an array of color selections from "soft" to "neutral" to "bright". There are even arrangements that include succulents with flowers- I'm new to the flower world so maybe this is normal but I haven't seen it. My BFF looooves flowers and has a "favorite" shop but I couldn't remember what it was, but after seeing all their pictures I was sure Blackbird was up to standard. After careful review, I chose "The Charmer" which was within my budget and the aesthetic I was going for. There is an option to have greenery on the back side or a fuller look with more flowers, which I chose that option. Delivery price seemed fair. Well let me just say: my friend and I are SO Impressed. The arrangement was GORGEOUS! My friend told it was the most beautiful arrangement she had ever seen because it was SO full of actual flowers with variety and brightness- and SHE buys and sends flowers all the time. She also took them with her to her lash appointment and many of the ladies inside were inquiring where she got them. Needless to say, she will be a customer there. I called this florist based on the great reviews. I do not live in the area and wanted to get an arrangement for a co-worker who had just has a baby. I left a message with the florist and they called me back very quickly. The florist made great recommendations over the phone and added a touch of blue since the baby was a boy. I got a receipt by email with a follow up that the flowers had been delivered along with a picture of them. Absolutely gorgeous. Price was $75 with another $15 for delivery. Well worth the price.
