Ordered flower delivery from Ben White Florist for my coworker when his dog died and we were both very happy with it! The arrangement that I chose from the website was called Allison and I chose the basic level, which was $55 before the delivery fee. You can also upgrade for a slightly bigger arrangement or an ever bigger "luxe" arrangement. I called them to ask if they could make something custom with irises, but they said they were sold out of irises and it was just whatever was on the website. The flowers look fresh and expensive looking, and it's a pretty good value for the price. No logistical issues either. read more

I called Ben White Florist (BWF) to order flowers for the funeral of a coworker's mother. I hadn't looked at BWF's website beforehand, so Customer Service helped me choose a beautiful floral basket at a price that was within my price range. Based on past experience, I believed that the price was quite reasonable. Everyone I talked to was polite, patient, and helpful. A change to the funeral date/time came in immediately after I placed the order. When I called back to make the change, the Customer Service representative told me that BWF always calls the funeral home to verify a funeral's date and time because obituaries can be inaccurate and funeral homes sometimes have special delivery instructions. BWF sent me a confirmation email soon after the order was placed. It showed the type of flower arrangement, price, and the updated delivery information. And after the flowers were delivered, they emailed a delivery confirmation that also stated the funeral location, time, and date. BWF's polite and cheerful Customer Service representatives, their verification of delivery details, their detailed order confirmation and their detailed confirmation of delivery show that Ben White Florist cares about getting the job done right and making sure that the customer has confidence that this will happen. So to fully grasp how much i appreciate Ben White Florist I have to take you back to the beginning, to the girl I met who lead me to using Ben White. I met a girl, a beautiful girl, out of this world girl on Tinder (not ideal i know...). Call it false confidence or an imaginative and day dream like mind, but despite this girl being out of my league I felt like I had a chance. However, she came with a warning label "Brit living in Austin, TX back home visiting in Las Vegas" Knowing I would only have a limited time with her I had to do what I could to impress & leave a lasting impression.. unfortunately I blew it. Don't get me wrong... the first time we met was magical! Split a whole joint, cigarettes and beer while we discussed our pasts and plans for the future, it was dealing with her leaving and potentially never seeing her again where I botched it and ended up not getting the chance to see her again before she left back to Austin. well... Valentines wasn't too far away from the time we met. so after I got her to talk to me again after blowing it before she left Las Vegas, i asked her where she would be staying on Valentines Day so I could send her a gift (at the time she didnt know she would be receiving) Being the procrastinator, first time flower on valentines day, to a different state sender... i sent her Valentines gift to a new address and thats where things got complicated. So while the valentines gift was on its way to her, i still wanted to make sure she received flowers on Valentines Day. So i ordered flowers from a flower shop close to the first address she gave me.. only to find out hours later when they attempted to deliver them that the address she gave me days prior to Valentines was no longer the address she would be at on Valentines Day (she had gotten her new apartment squared away -_________- ) so they called me back and told me that they wouldn't be able to deliver them today or at all because Austin was way beyond their delivery area. So by the next day February 15th it was time to find another florist in Austin. After some quick research and yelp review reading it sounded like Ben White Florist would be the better option. Checked out the website and found the flower arrangement called "Mi Corazon" translates loosely to "My Heart". I'm hispanic, so not only did i love THE PRICE but i loved the name. they looked beautiful, fitting for a Lost Queen like her. The first place i called refused to draw an alien on the card (she really likes aliens), the staff at Ben White had no problem and even giggled when i asked them to draw a picture on the card, and the who Valentines day flower sending fiasco was finally coming to a close. I wasn't happy about paying delivery fees twice or getting her flowers two days later. But after working things out here I felt ALOT better and her amazement with the beauty of the flowers made it all worth it, she makes it all worth it, thank you again. its been a week since she received them and she just texted me telling me theyre still gorgeous, after only last night telling me i was dancing in her dreams (no doubt in part thanks to the flowers) The flowers look immaculate in comparison the the roses also in the photo she sent me. Just wanted to leave you the longest review and say thanks again, fingers crossed things continue to go as well as they can and if i get the chance to send her flowers again. I hate when Florist's use cheap fillers and go skimpy on the flowers, and when the arrangement looks nothing like the picture. When I placed my order I asked that the arrangement be mostly flowers with no substitutions, and to be as pictured. Ben White Florist did exactly as I requested, and the flowers are top quality and variety. Definitely a grade above florists and will now be my choice for the Austin area. read more
