Thank you so much for this beautiful bouquet. Somebody knew what they were doing because there is such a cacophony of colors and shades-sizes and shapes. It's a work of art with the big American Beauty roses AND tea roses (yellow and pink ) of different sizes AND SHADES TOO. It's a dream bouquet and while I love my grocery store bouquets from thoughtful friends and neighbors, this one stands to show that you get what you pay for when somebody takes into account proportion/size/ distribution of color and shape AND Different greens -shades and shapes. It's a lesson in quality and expertise. Somebody knew what they were doing as it's just perfect. It looks as fresh today as it did yesterday so it will be here for a while. Thank you so much it's just a lovely lovely bouquet. There are Peonies in there too and one stem of pink snap dragons. The arrangement my mom received was a weird arrangement of roses and orchids. It was not at all what we had ordered, but it was one of the pre-made designs offered on their website. Much more expensive than what we ordered, as well. This year on Valentine's Day, I was very specific in the way I explained what I wanted...11 red roses and one white rose ONLY and nothing else. She received the same bizarre arrangement as she had the year before. I called and spoke with Katy. I told her what had happened - twice - and let her know we would no longer use them. She offered to send my mom a new arrangement like we had ordered in the first place, and I said she did not need two arrangements, so she offered a credit, which I accepted. Only because we had a credit, my siblings and I decided to order our mom's Mother's Day arrangement from them. I left a voicemail yesterday inquiring about the amount of the credit. By this afternoon, no one had called me back. I called them today and was told there were notes on our account but nothing about a credit. I was put on hold and eventually the system disconnected the call. Katy did call me back. She read me the notes on the account, much of which I had not said. This is a strange way to run a business. There are way too many good florists in Austin to waste your time and money on this one.

I got so many compliments on the flowers and how the combination of flowers were so pretty. Honestly, I feel like a lot of ppl can arrange flowers or put a bunch of flowers in a vase. So, again, I will just stress that I feel like Melanie definitely has an eye for floral design and I was very happy with how the flowers turned out. The only complaint I would have is that it is a little bit hard to get a hold of Melanie, as I've seen a few other reviewers mention. But, she does a great job and is reliable, so I really can't hold it against her. She seems to get really focused and caught up in whatever wedding is coming up, so I'm guessing she just spends more time actually arranging flowers vs business administrative things. So, bottom line: Last Petal does gorgeous work. You might not get a lot of communication from Melanie, but don't worry, your flowers will turn out great!

We have been going there since we moved here 5 years ago and while the food is exceptional the service last night was one of the finest we have experienced anywhere. Lily was not only charmingly professional but had a command of the menu that rarely is seen. The menu at Bella offers a full range of Italian dishes and she demonstrated intimate knowledge of every dish with a truly entertaining description and enthusiasm that made our dining beyond enjoyable. We were literally the last to leave having arrived about 30 minutes before closing. Not once did we feel hurried which is a credit to not only Lily but the staff behind Lily from Chef to checkout. We love this place for the great food but last night was truly an exceptional evening. If you haven't tried it, we highly recommend it as well asking for Lily.
