I also really appreciated that Zinnia & Co. was able to work with our budget and never pushed us to spend more. Actually, Leah offered budget-saving ideas that meant we could repurpose our florals from the ceremony for the reception. I never felt like we had spend more money to be a valued client. She was also responsive and understanding when both my mother and mother of the bride wanted to talk through the details. Her product was beyond what I asked for. When meeting with her, I tried to give as little direction as possible: a few flowers not to use and our overall colors and style. I really just wanted to be completely surprised as if we had commissioned her to do a piece of artwork. And WOW. She outdid herself. The flowers were my favorite decorative element of the wedding and everyone there kept commenting on how gorgeous they were. Not only were they beautiful, they perfectly fit my husband and my personalities and the style of our wedding. Erin is very down to earth and easy to communicate with. You can be as specific or general (or even confused) about what you want and she will help you figure out what floral decisions to make. She is also conscious of your budget and will tell you what things will look like within the price you have specified. I can't recommend her enough.

She was very easy to work with during a long delayed wedding due to the pandemic. We changed our venue and date 3 times and she stayed lock step with us, reconfiguring the design as the table formations were altered and the dining room tables were brought from inside to outside. She was honest with us with the cost and labor when we were toying around with hanging greenery on the tent rafters and we ultimately decided to put the budget elsewhere. Her and her team were total pros, super easy to work with, highly responsive, and have creative designs that will be noticed. We had a very soft idea of what we wanted in terms of our florals, but were totally mindblown when she showed us a preview of what she envisioned for our wedding. (And she 100% executed that vision). Her work is whimsical but refined, trendy but timeless. We absolutely loved the flowers that she used, and loved that she incorporated the fruit (that we asked for) in our centerpieces. We obviously loved what she made for our wedding, but all of her work is incredible. (I still scroll through her instagram feed to look at beautiful things and get stress relief).

We approached the decor with the vibes of "a garden, but make it fall with a dash of whimsy and fantasy". Jen at Native Bloom was very quick to pick up on these vibes and delivered a quote with inspiration pictures that matched what we were looking for. Throughout the entire process, Jen was very easy to work with. We had a reasonable budget for the flowers and when there were aspects of her design that fell out of our price range, she quickly worked with us to find more cost-effective alternatives. We also collected a lot of vintage glassware for the table settings and were keen on having some of them used in the floral design. Jen was kind enough to meet us halfway between her shop and our home to pick up the vessels and incorporated them beautifully into the tablescapes. She provided fun suggestions to the floral design, including adding darker red tones to our dusty pink and sage green wedding colors and finding the perfect, fluffiest, most mystical moss to add to the tables. Jen helped to make our wedding day look and feel beautiful and we are so happy with the work she did! Photos by Abby Carissimo.

I was wary that they wouldn't do enough color with our palette since their social media has a lot of white/pastel/rosy hued florals, but they really knocked it out of the park with our color palette! We had various hues of purple as our primary color, with gold, warm yellows and burnt oranges as our secondary colors. While we did ask for more yellow/orange to be featured in our blooms since the rest of our decor focused on purple/gold, I thought there would be a little more varied purples in our arrangements. Was also hoping for a looser/more flowy bouquet, but what they created was still beautiful (design inspiration may have gotten lost in employee turnover since we'd been planning for 2+ years during the pandemic and they had some changes during that time.) Again, everything was still gorgeous and I loved the variety of color, textures and types of flowers used. It was fun, vibrant and unique. We added a tall install on our head table towards the end of the planning process and I'm glad we did because it made such a beautiful statement! I also liked the variety of vases they had available to use.

I've used them twice a year for a couple years as the Mrs. has been pleased with the flowers, and I've tolerated some minor issues (slightly late deliveries and somewhat comically, mylar balloons not being delivered for three separate orders, which has become a running joke). All that said, they don't seem particularly bothered that I haven't received my flowers or refund -- but I am. Good riddance!

I was ecstatic to have the option, noting to the woman on the phone that she was doing me a huge courtesy. They delivered them 2 days later. Great! Things got weird when they asked me to bring back the large vase that my original arrangement came in. The new arrangement was much smaller. They did offer to have their driver pick it up. I got so many compliments on the flowers and how the combination of flowers were so pretty. Honestly, I feel like a lot of ppl can arrange flowers or put a bunch of flowers in a vase. So, again, I will just stress that I feel like Melanie definitely has an eye for floral design and I was very happy with how the flowers turned out. The only complaint I would have is that it is a little bit hard to get a hold of Melanie, as I've seen a few other reviewers mention. But, she does a great job and is reliable, so I really can't hold it against her. She seems to get really focused and caught up in whatever wedding is coming up, so I'm guessing she just spends more time actually arranging flowers vs business administrative things. So, bottom line: Last Petal does gorgeous work. You might not get a lot of communication from Melanie, but don't worry, your flowers will turn out great!
