It was late at night, my first time ordering from MtLF and I was unsure what to get for my wife for our 14th anniversary. I had no idea what to order, but thank God Ms. Laura helped me through even at late hours. Last night I was able to order the most beautiful flower arrangement which was delivered to my wife this morning. My wife is not a big fan of flowers but this time she called me right away to thank me, she really loved the arrangement. She's been getting compliments all day long from her coworkers. A great detail from MtLF was when the arrangement was delivered my wife wasn't on her desk at the time and they had a hard time contacting her. Well they waited until my wife was found and they delivered the arrangement straight to her hands!! (anybody else would of just dropped it off with the receptionist). Laura is stellar! I recently worked with her for florals for my wedding and she went above and beyond and made the florals my favorite part of the entire day. I went into the wedding planning/floral design process with zero clue what we wanted besides knowing we really liked greenery and wanted to make sure we were being as sustainable as possible. She listened to us and had so many great ideas on how we could achieve those goals. About a month and a half before our wedding, she shared an idea she had for adding a bit more floral to the reception space with a ceiling installation and what we ended up with was breathtaking (literally had cactus pieces hanging from the ceiling...it was SO COOL). Her creativity blew me away and was so perfectly our style and fit our venue's vibes. I had tons of phenomenal vendors at my wedding, but Laura TOOK. THE. CAKE. She was recommended to my via my planner, and I'm so thankful. The flowers were very important to me, so I spent a lot of time talking with Laura, sending inspo photos, talking colors, etc. I wanted alllllll the color for my springtime wedding, without it looking cheap or childish. After looking a my inspo photos and submitting a plan, we went to the wholesale florist together and she basically took note of every flower I loved, and suggested pairings. She wasn't afraid of my funky style, and totally embraced it and made it better. I teared up when she gave my my bouquet and I finally got to see all her work. She did a beautiful installation at the front of Woodbine Mansion, which was the STAR of all the photos since that's where we did our first dances and toasts. Laurel Mountain Floral, owner, Laura Yap, did a FANTASTIC work of art for ALL the flowers at our daughter's recent wedding. She sat down with my daughter and us and listened to what our daughter wanted. Then she wrote it down and gave us the list to make sure we were getting what we wanted. Then everything was perfect. More than we could have asked for. We gave her a talk request with decorating on a beam between doors and it was so beautifully covered with all the flowers our daughter wanted! The bridesmaids and Bridal bouquets were stunning!! She nailed it!!!! Laura is easy to talk to and very professional. The arch and podium flowers that Laura created were amazing and truly made the setting and wedding photos spectacular.
