I called 7 times, each time pressing a button for another department just to get someone to answer. I let it ring each time till it hung up on me! Do they not want my buisiness? I am a busy person and have a very big company, when I need to find something I need to find it Now! The first 2 times I had to wait till the automatic answering machine finished its long drawn out slow speech about everything under the sun except what number to push to get a department to help me. It took almost a whole minute each time, then another minute or so to let it ring before it hung up on me! Why can't they just say for tile hit one, for address & directions hit two, for Covid 19 protocol hit three?! No, they tell you the address where it is located and which stores are next to it, then they tell you a long story about COVID-19 and what they do about it and that they only leave so many people in at a time and on and on... I DONT HAVE TIME FOR ALL THIS, and if I needed the address I would ask or then wait to push another number I am only calling to ask a question people!!!! read more

Would strongly advise going to the Colony store that's newer, cleaner, better organized, bit friendlier staff and better location. I had bought from the plano 15th st store in the past but noticed last year or two BIG change in management. Went to the Colony store this morning and what a difference in attitude with staff. Judy their designer was fantastic in helping me with selection. Give that lady 5 stars plus! BTW..FLOOR & decor referral service for installers is NOT in Texas...it's in VERMONT! My Husband and I came into Floor and Decor on Alberta Drive in Dallas on 12/15/2020 wanting to pick up something for our back splash in our kitchen. We brought in a sample of our granite so we could try and get something that looked nice. We were having issues and so decided to wait on someone in your designer department. Both of them were busy with other customers. After waiting about a hour and a half and thinking about leaving a young lady by the name of Emily came up and asked if she could help. We told her what we were needing and showed her the sample. She started pulling samples off the shelfs and putting them to down to compare them to our granite. Needless to say we found what we wanted and then she asked if there was anything else that was needed to install. We asked her if we got our contractor on the phone if she would speak with him so we could get everything that was needed and she was happy to do that. We left the store with everything that was needed and Emily was more then helpful. You didn't have all that was needed so she called another store to have them check their inventory and they had the other 2 boxes that were need, had them put on reserve so that we could pick them up on the 16th. Emily was such a joy to work with and we felt good when we left. On 12/16 we went back to Floor and Decor and asked for Emily again. She was tied up with another customer and we told whom ever we spoke with that if she became available that we would be in flooring. There was another young man that helped us with flooring but once Emily was done assisting the other customer she came looking for us. Assisted the young man in loading the cart and both of them loaded the material in our vehicle. I want you to know Emily knows how to work and treat a customer and in my opinion is a GEM. I read the reviews below and all I have to say is if all employees were like Emily your store would have so much business that it would blow this store away in business and profit. I want to Thank Emily for all she did to assist us and I want Floor and Decor to know that she is one of the best individuals and a company could have a True Shining Gem. BAD, SERVICE, POOR QUALITY, SECONDS ONLY I purchased something here last week. I did not notice it had been opened. I returned with my receipt and the product...and they refused to refund my money. I am a contractor and will NEVER do business here again. Most of their tiles are very poor seconds . They are uneven, colors do not match, and are often damaged. I have just finished my ordered here this morning. This store is recommended by my wood flooring technician. They have a great selection of all different colors and styles. The staffs here are very helpful. They walk me through some of different wood samples and colors, give me a good advice on how to choose the flooring that suit to my house overall setup along with curtain and wall colors. I don't have to wait long because they are all in stock ready for delivery. I can't wait to see my new flooring! The price is very affordable. Ok, let's be honest. . . when Floor and Decor first started out here, everybody thought they were a cheap brand. Nonetheless, we bought a houseful of porcelain floor tile and were very happy with it -- and with the price. Now we are finally remodeling our master bath and we need shower tile and tub surround tile. We went to Home Depot and Lowe's, and other tile stores, but the tile was all really cheap quality compared to what we could get at F&D. It was F&D hands down. We are still rockin' the Tuscan look and that colorway is hard to find, so we got some marble tile. The contractor said "take it back, too many issues with marble tile in a shower." So we did. Returns were completely painless. Jerick helped us with the return and he couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We ended up going to Daltile because they had a compatible color subway tile, so the shower will be low-maintenance but boring. We would have much preferred to get F&D tile, but we have one more bathroom to remodel, so maybe. Jerick is the man! read more

Wow! The most unpleasant experience ever! We ordered cork flooring a month in advance and was told it would be received in 7 days. Not the case at all. We call 3 weeks after our order to see what's up. Nobody has any answers why our material has not arrived. We make calls and no one calls back. Turns out our material is sitting in a warehouse and no one knows who it's for. It took over a month for us to receive our material and even still they insisted we needed transitions which we did not receive. They let us order $600 worth of the wrong underlay. All in all these people don't know much about flooring and have very little communication skills, NO problem solving skills and costumer service down right sucks! Would absolutely not return . Floor and Decor recommended that I use a company owned by "Luna". I hired them in June and it is November and the work is still not done. The workers destroyed my property and possessions and the owner just hangs up on me and ignores my calls. I STILL DO NOT HAVE A KITCHEN!!! They have good prices and an amazing selection. The only issue there is NEVER enough staff to check customers out. Every time I go there I wait regardless of the time of day. The store has lovely things. However the staff at the register is horrible. They are slow and the back up created is ridiculous. The pick up area in back is horrible as well. They never have the orders pulled and if they pull natural stone products, be careful. They will put broken or used pieces in and if you don't catch it before leaving, you will have a heck of a time trying to return it. Avoid this Store. Go to the Colony or Dallas. I was in here yesterday and in the 15 minutes I was in there I was sweating profusely. The employee that helped me was also dripping wet and had body odor because of it. When I inquired as to whether their air conditioning was working I was told it had been out for months. How do these companies get away with this? It was 90 degrees in there. They have all sorts of tile and flooring, but have very little to no customer service. There are not enough people working at the front desk checking out, and frequently, the people that are ignore customers waiting in line. All in all, I would recommend this place only because of their selection for tile and flooring, but otherwise would advise people to avoid this place. Update- Since I've last been here, they have added two more checkout stations and seem to be amply staffed. The selection is great as always, and with the addition of more staff and checkout stations, Floor and Decor is definitely improving and has become a place I would recommend. read more
