One word....Kaity!!! She's amazing. We definitely wouldn't have gotten through this massive project with our heads on straight without this gem!! Thank YOU Kaity for your knowledge, concern, talent and kindness. You have been a huge blessing to us read more

Great selection but pricey and they wont let you return extra tile

We drive from Frisco just for Ryan! As a Real Estate Investor I'm often rushing and bouncing materials between homes. I can always count on Ryan to assist me! If it's not in stock Ryan can tell me immediately when the next shipment order is coming in. He walks right along with me helping load my carts, and assists me loading up my truck. If there is anyway to recognize this guy, Floor and Decor should know they have something special in this employee. read more

They offer great prices but the employees are so unhelpful. They need to work on their customer service..

They have the stock, the designers and the patience to help you knock out ANY type of tile or hard flooring project. Examples are built to show off products and the staff is delightful. Go early in the morning for more personal attention with far fewer crowd crazys. read more

Great service spot! Fair prices too! Be sure to get extra as some run low - right when needed! Recommend them!

The store has lovely things. However the staff at the register is horrible. They are slow and the back up created is ridiculous. The pick up area in back is horrible as well. They never have the orders pulled and if they pull natural stone products, be careful. They will put broken or used pieces in and if you don't catch it before leaving, you will have a heck of a time trying to return it. Avoid this Store. Go to the Colony or Dallas. Even with the drive you will spend less time on the trip! read more

See a guy named oscar he is freakin awesome. This guy goes above and beyond a real servant with a great attitude...and he does it without asking, he looks for ways to help. I was totally impressed, very rare these days. read more

I want to express my appreciation to BJ at the 15th street store in Plano. She saw the look of frustration on my wife's face with the huge amount of choices FD has. She approached us, looked at our counter sample, got a cart, and proceeded to walk us through selecting 4 or 5 color coordinated samples side by side on the cart. This resulted in a final selection that we are very pleased with. We haven't completed the project as yet but based on this type of service we will be using FD for this selection and the other tiles we will be needing for out bathroom project! read more

Mauricio greeted me as soon as I walked in and asked me if I needed help. He helped me find everything on my project list. He patiently explained things and answered all of my questions. I wish every business provided such exceptional customer service. I will definitely be returning to this Floor & Decor location when shopping for my next home project. read more

Customer service could be better. They will only help you if your blonde and attractive like my manager. We went there to pick out some tile and the guy was so helpful it was pathetic. i went there last week and waited 20 minutes for help and 40 minutes to get my order loaded on the van. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this location. I am doing major remodeling at my home and the staff here has been wonderful (and I've been there a lot). Jess at the pro desk went out of her way to help me find exactly what I was looking for even though it required her to get out different books, look up SKUs and special order materials and she DOESN'T even work of commission! Way to go guys!!! I will be back! read more

Horrible customer service. I purchased a closeout on some wood laminate and had to special order the transition pieces. I was assured that it would take 2-3 weeks to receive them. We are on 5 weeks and still no reducers. I have called to check on my order three times (went up there twice) and nobody can tell me where my reducers are or when I can expect them. And they don't seem to be concerned either. AND good luck trying to get a hold of the store manager. Impossible! I can't schedule the installation of my floor until I have all the materials needed to complete the project. Very frustrating! UPDATE: After 4 phone calls and two trips back to the store with no results, I had my MALE friend call up there. Not only did Gary instantly got a hold of the manager, but he texted him his personal phone number and told him he would text Gary as soon as the reducers are in. Is this a sexist company? Do they discriminate? You be the judge. No wonder the women who work there are so rude. read more

I stood around for a good 20 minutes. Ignored by at least 4 employees. Never acknowledged. Then told someone would help me, then told me the section was being closed to move merchandise. More employees on their cell phones playing games... zero customer service. Hello Home Depot,.. not coming back read more

The customer service I received from Andrew was top notch! A refreshing change from the lack thereof at The Colony location.

My name is David and I purchased some flooring material from them and I needed some help for stair nose. Nick and his manager helped me a lot. What I can say is that Nick put himself in my situation and he was a great help. I really appreciate Nick and his manager for such a great customer service. read more

I've been shopping at Floor and Décor for years. I usually visit the Dallas store and sometimes The Colony location. I stumbled into this location last week and to my surprise, I saw a friendly face. I saw Matt S., who has helped me since day one. He helped me with some glue down wood and everything was really quick and easy. Just the way I like it. Matt was the main reason I always preferred the Dallas location. He told me that he switched locations and would be working out of Plano. This is great news! Plano is closer to most of my clients and this will be a huge benefit to me. Thank you Floor and Décor for being great! read more

Floor and Decor offers great pricing and products. One well kept secret is Mauricio, a very knowledgeable employee that took the time to hear me, show alternatives and got co-workers to chime in with their expertise. I was so impressed that I spoken to management and gave grand reviews. I am not easy to please but Mauricio gets a "10." read more

Prices are ok but.... 1. We bought 46 boxes of white ceramic tile and half of the boxes came with gray tile. Our contractor didn't realize until he opened the 10th box and have half of our kitchen done.... 2. We went back to the store But couldn't returned them because there weren't enough white tiles at store in Plano store. 3. Due to time and our work, we decided to chance our plan and use the grey tile but then the contractor discovered that some of the grey tiles were 1/16 shorter and when we came back to the store to exchange them ... They didn't have the color nor the same size. 4. They had us jumping from Mesquite store to the Plano store and neither of those stores could solve the problem. 5. It has been three days and we only have 1/2 of the floor installed and now we don't have the right tile to finish our project. read more

We use this store whenever we have flooring or tiling projects. We've always been happy with their products, prices and service! Today was no exception.....we needed to repair a wood floor for which the manufacturer had discontinued the color... the manager (Brad) was extremely helpful in assisting us with alternative options. Previously someone on his team had already checked the inventory for other stores. We will continue to shop at this store! read more

The help we received here was top notch. We went in to look at the floors again that we've already picked out. BJ was a huge help and was able to pull up inventory and let us know how much was left, as well as answer other questions. After visiting this store several times to check out the prices & availability of some different tiles, I was told the tile I selected was back ordered until the end of January. After visiting the store several times afterwards to purchase the material in February they still did not have my tile in stock. I wasn't in any hurry to start my project and thought the savings is well worth the wait. In Mid-March I called in advance to check on the in-stock supply of my item again and found out that they had an ample supply in stock but the price increased by about $2.00 per S.F. After speaking with the store manager about my disappointment, he responded with "he didn't recall the price I mentioned (about $3.00/S.F.) ever being that low" and did not offer me any discount from the revised higher price! I thought we were in an economic recession and prices were decreasing? Not Very Happy, Remodeler from Plano read more

Have shopped here several times and have only have had a good experience. I put laminate into the ground floor of my house and I bought all the materials here after shopping around. I found they had the best prices and by far the largest selection. When I got the first batch of baords home, I found that the boards were all the same. Somehow the manufacturer had not put a mix of planks in many of the boxes. Took them back, no problem, no questions... replaced them. Second lot of boxes were covered in oil. Again, took them back, no questions... replaced them. I read some of the other reviewers and I can understand the frustration. They are a little un-organised in the back of the store, so finding orders can be fun. Getting people on the phone can be a challenge as they seem to be very busy all the time. They also have a point-of-sale which is a bit long in the tooth, so when they need to research orders ( which is a lot ) you need to be patient. However, where it counts, when you have an issue with the product they deal with the issue and I would say go beyond what is required. Flooring is not like cans of soup.. projects are expensive and often non-pros are putting in the floors for the first time. I think the staff do a reasonable job of dealing with customers in what must be a challenging business, read more

I found a specific tile with a specific dye lot that I was looking for. I asked one of the employee guys to help me to load 4 boxes into a cart. He said he was busy and didn't even call someone else to help. I am a petite woman, but though it seemed like a daunting task, I picked up one box at a time and put them in the cart. Because these 4 boxes with the specific dye lot was exactly what I needed to complete my project. They have a newer version of the tile but that's a different dye color which I did not like at all. So I wheeled the cart to the check out counter and told them that's exactly what needs to be in placed in the storage so that the tile guy can pick it up. I specifically gave them instructions about the dye lot that I was looking for and found and paid for and insisted that they place those specific boxes in the storage. They tile guy went and picked up the order...I saw them when they were delivered at the house. They are NOT the ones I picked up and paid for. I am in the middle of a project and now the tiles they sent were not the ones that match what I already had. When I called them on it, the staff didn't even know what the dye lot meant and where the dye lot number was printed on the box. They said there is nothing they could do about it, they cannot locate the boxes I paid for and that I could come look for them myself. What kind of customer service is this? read more

I was in there the other day selecting tile for our new home. There was a employee named Jessica that provided outstanding customer service in every area of service...... when she saw that I was waiting for service at the design counter she offered help right away( even though she explained there were designers but no one ever showed up ), listened to my plan, offered options, she knew her tile and how to achieve best results, she calculated and suggested budget friendly options. Incredibly patient!! After we finished another customer was already in line requesting her specifically and she delayed her break to help him! Really those employees are rare these days.... it's evident she loves her job and even verbalized it a couple of times through her words and actions! I'll seek her out next time I need flooring or tile in the future!! read more

BUYER BEWARE. This company advertises quality tiles but they are really pieces of crap. Our contractor saw them and refused to put them in because they were such bad quality. The first time the crate was shipped, it was broken and couldn't be taken off the truck and the second time more than half the tiles came in broken. When I wanted to return all the tiles they gave me the run around for 2 weeks and then finally made me pay for their mistake all over again. Between the awful quality of the tile and the extremely poor and unprofessional customer service I was beyond disappointed. If you are taken in by the lower prices, beware that you are paying for a much lower quality of tile. read more

Am taking the time to write a review for being treated fairly! We went in the store several days ago and had numerous items at checkout and i didn't check my bill as well as I should have...I thought I had bought 22 pieces of Travertine trim for our shower along with several other things(but we were charged for 32 pieces instead)...a couple of days later we returned 10 pieces of the trim, no problem...then tonight went in to return the other 12, no problem, and purchased a different kind of trim in exchange. After getting back to the car I was going over the receipts and realized that on the first purchase we were charged for 32 pieces of trim instead of 22...it is now 5 days and 2 separate exchanges later so I figured my chances of making this right were slim. I went back into the store and told them that we had paid for 10 extra pieces that we did not receive and the cashier went to her manger who said "just give her a credit"! NOW, THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had no proof that I had not received the 32 pieces but they did not question it. Each time I was in the store, though I had to look around for someone to help me, when I found someone they were always very helpful. The selection in the store is vast and I will definitely recommend this Plano store to my friends. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I was overcharged in the first place! read more

Ryan Vandergriffat in this location was amazing!!! He really knows the meaning of customer service. He's super friendly and nice, I recommend asking for him when you go to this floor & decor location. He took the time to show us different tiles and wasn't pushy for a sale. He gave us great information on the different materials of tile sold at floor & decor. I wish I could give him 10 stars if I could. Thanks Ryan, you made our experience at this location smooth and easy. We will definitely be back read more

Edgar is the best, we had to fix a mistake in our tile but they were sold out of the tile we needed! He went into the back and found 2 more spare pieces for us in the warehouse... life saver!! read more

This was our first time in Floor and Decor - on recommendation from our contractor, we stopped to look at tiles for our bathroom remodel. When we arrived today, we found our floor tile and backsplash - we needed help with wall tile. Terrance Rone and Zack helped us get the amount we needed. We had to purchase some loose tiles to make sure we had enough. Terrance followed us to the register and used tape to secure the loose tiles....then he helped my husband load everything into our car!! Customer Service at it's best! Looking forward to coming back read more

A really unpleasant experience to say the least! After driving from the Dallas location to pick up tiles on hold at the Plano location, they were not the correct tiles. A older man came over to "help" at the request of another sales lady. While waiting, I was looking through scrap tiles and he came up to me to see if I was a part of the family he was helping, which I was, and I showed him a similar piece. He flipped out and was extremely rude, telling me "I can't count the registers until all customers are out of the store, and NOW you want me to find THIS?????" Excuse me, I don't think so! I put away the tile and walked right out of the store. Who in their right mind would give a store their business after that? Rude, rude rude. read more

Nick was so helpful, knowledgeable and personable. We explained our project, and he narrowed the field of choices quickly and expertly. He also explained the differences in tile selection and the impact the selection would have on the overall look of the completed bathroom. I am so grateful we were fortunate to have him help us. It was a bit tedious to get individual help when we first arrived, but it was on a Saturday, and they were very busy. We will return to place our order with Nick. He was excellent. read more
