I have recently purchased quite a bit of flooring, ceramic and vinyl. I also purchased porcelain tile for shower walls. The prices were fantastic. The employees were also friendly and helpful. We had a bit of a problem with the granite that was purchased and then wasn't there when we were ready for it. Somehow it was sold to someone else and then we had to get more expensive granite, as it was needed that day. However, after communicating this to Andrea, the store manager, she put things right. It's such a shame that people like the blonde "manager" have their position there and can't provide quality customer service, instead she has the miraculous ability to drive a customer away with her big mouth. But who cares right? It's just one customer with a $600 order. Wrong! Its one contractor with a $600 order and hundreds of customers with thousands of dollars of orders. Everyone that works here was of no help. You know it's bad when you have to ask 3 different people just to get help. I'm remodeling my room so I purchased laminate wood 3 weeks ago. I didn't install it because I wanted to see if it would match the color of my room. I opened 1 box and came to realize it wasn't the color wood I was going for. I go in the store today to return the unused wood I purchased in exchange for the wood I wanted. The girls at the front said they can't return the open unused box. So I simply asked to speak to a manager. His name was Espinoza. He was SO rude. Such poor management. The customer is always right. How do you except to have loyal customers with horrible customer service ? I explained to him what happened and he rudely responded " that's why we have wood samples". He made me feel so stupid. Keep in mind im a 22yr old girl who is new to all of this! I don't know what I'm doing in the wood store. And the person who previously helped me didn't tell me about wood samples. So whatever what can I do. He made me keep my wood that wasn't going towards anything, just a waste. So as I'm looking for my new wood I ask another guy for help who was no help! He was completely miserable working there. I'm never coming back to this place/ location or referring anybody to this horrible place. read more

We ordered carpet for our office. At the time of ordering, everything was easy, the people were friendly and attentive and the price was great. HOWEVER, upon installation, it was a whole other story. The crew that showed up was very unprofessional. They talked and texted on their cell phones all day, ate and drank on our new carpet and left soda and Monster cans and trash all over the place when they left, which attracted ANTS! Not to mention the glue spots that were left on the carpet and the fact that they are denying breaking our vaccuum cleaner. When we called their office on Monday to let them know, Corrina would not believe us and basically called us liars and blamed us for rushing the workers to finish. We were only rushing them once they were three hours passed the estimated finish time. We were told 6 hours max on three different phone calls and now they swear they told us 12-14 hours. Laughable. Even funnier is that they would actually suggest that our employees possibly came in on Saturday night and partied, and that's where the mess came from. HA! We would have been more inclined to forgive and forget had they been apologetic and had shown up the next morning to clean up since they were "rushed" out. Very disappointing. read more

I'm writing this review on behalf of my wife. She went in to grab a few pieces of stone for a project we were working on. She went into the store and was greeted by friendly employees at the front and made her way to the back to store where the stone was located. She asked a young man (Tony) that was unpacking some tile nearby is he can help open a box. Not only did he go out his way and stop what he was doing to open the box he carried the stone to the front, checked her out at the register and loaded the stone into the car. The store does have a great variety of flooring as well as fantastic prices. The staff is curteous and eager to help. My order was packed wrong and when the installer went to install my new wood floors found that no wood adhesive was available. Needless to say we had to go to Lowes (since we live in OC) to purchase wood adhesive to get the project done on time. Upon returning the incorrectly packed items. Floors and Decor refunded us our money and compensated us for the price difference. They have fantastic customer service and definitely want to keep their customers happy! read more

I am big on a company that stands behind their product such as Costco.... I would purchase anything from Costco with no hesitation. As for floor and decor, they proved to us that they don't give two cents about customer satisfaction and they definitely don't stand behind their products. We purchased wood flooring from them and we were assured by the sales people that the bamboo flooring we were buying was good quality flooring. We hired a Profesional to come install it and it looked great when it was all done. Within a month or two we noticed that it would scratch very easily. Anything such as plastic would leave a scratch on it. Then we started noticing that the wood was splintering which became a serious hazard since we have a toddler crawling around, we also noticed that the wood was rising in certain areas. We made sure that all precautions were taken when installing the floor such as moisture. We contacted floor and decor and informed them about our issue. They said they would send out an inspector to come and take a look at it, he came out and he seemed like a nice guy, he looked around, did some testing, then he looked at one of the unused boxes that we had and he commented that even the wood in the unused box seemed like the material was defective. We were then contacted back by floor and decor after a couple of weeks and low and behold they said that all of those issued had to do with install and that none of it had anything to do with them. It's very disheartening when we pay such a large amount of our hard earned money only to have a large company sell crappie quality material and then tell us that they have nothing to do with it. Expensive lesson learned here, DON'T SHOP FLOOR AND DECOR unless you enjoy getting ripped off.... if you do then this is the store for you. read more

Made the MISTAKE of signing my husband for Pro Services, not only did they lose his application (with his personal information), the application included a copy of his credit card!! Needless to say an order we placed for tile was also NEVER FILLED and we had been waiting for a call back from someone at the Pro Services desk, which of course we never got. We just brought a new home and desired to switch out the carpet for marble flooring. It was for the whole downstairs area so we need to buy pallets of marble to accomplish the project. We went shopping at several large warehouse type flooring stores in El Monte, Alhambra, Rosemead and Walnut. All those stores were charging $15 per sq.ft or more for the marble which we were looking for. Moreover, most of the stores didn't display the pricing with the merchandise and you have to ask them look up the price at the computer. Nonetheless, like clock work, the salespersons always came back with prices north of $15 per sq ft. Feeling defeated, we were going to settle for hardwood flooring since Home Depot carries them by the boatload at a reasonable price. On a lazy Sunday, I was just flipping through the newspaper and came across an advertisement for Floor & Decor. I asked my wife to come with me to check the place out, but she said that Floor & Decor looks like a big box store and could be expensive. At any rate, I dragged her to come with me to Floor & Decor and just 2 hours before closing, we found the marble in the exact color which we were looking for at less than 1/3 the price of the other flooring warehouses. I was thrilled because this saved our marble project and we didn't have to settle for hardwood flooring. The salesperson was not pushy and but answered a bunch of questions with patience. Another customer tried to cut in and didn't want to wait, but the salesperson called another person to assist that customer but continued to assist us with our questions. That is what I called terrific customer service. We immediately purchased all the marbles for entire downstairs from Floor & Decor just a couple of minutes before closing. But the staff was not pushy and still continued to take care of us until the entire purchase was finished. Great prices and terrific customer service. I wish more people know about Floor & Decor instead of paying the gouged prices of the other flooring warehouses. read more

I just wanna say that this place has the worst customer service ever. I walked in the Norco store a few weeks ago, I walked around for 25 mins just looking at tile until my husband got there to see the tile as well. The employees never asked me if I had a question, or if they could help me. I looked at all the Tile after almost half an hour and went to the front by a desk where there are shower displays and a computer, i was leaning on the counter and a girl goes behind the desk to use the computer, did not say a word to me, as to why I was standing there or if I needed help or assistance. My husband got there shortly after, we walked around for another 15-20 mins, looked at all the tile, employees passed right by us and never said a word to us. When we were walking out one of the cashiers said bye to us, and that was all. I thought the staff was rude and untrained with customer service. We are re-doing our floors in our house and thought we could shop for the tile here, but neither my husband or myself are happy with the service or should I say lack of service. Went in to look around several times before contacting one of floor decors recommended vendors. The vendor sent me an estimate with a list of all the products I would need. Immediately I started getting a phone calls and emails asking me to call and make an appointment for a consultation. I finally called to make an appointment and got the run around and was told I could just come in and no appointment needed. I came in and spoke with Caroline. She was helpful and I picked out a few samples. When I came back to place the order she was not friendly like the first time. I couldn't believe she was actually throwing attitude and I'm in the process of spending 3+ thousand on flooring. At that moment I should have followed my instinct and cancelled the order. It took approx 4-5 weeks for my items to be delivered which was faster than the 6 week time frame I was given. Finally the vendor was able to do the project but towards the end they realized the right amount of floor boards was not ordered based on the parts list that the vendor provided. So now they can't finish the job and I have to wait another 4-5 weeks to be able to get the project complCaroline had not ordered the correct amount of product. So not only am I waiting another 6 weeks but I have to buy another $350 worth of product which I wasn't expecting to spend. Attempted to speak with a manager- everyone seems to have the title of manager in that store. Was able to get them to at least expedite the shipping after going around and around. During the process I emailed the store manager Rich Rivera on 12/2 regarding my concerns. To date I still have not received a response back. Negative stars for there products and quality !! This is my first review I ever wrote on Yelp from how upset I am . I went to floor and decor to purchase flooring , the employees there told me that this is the place for best quality wood flooring and the best wood is bamboo . He said even though it's more expensive it's worth the extra money due to its durability, scratch resistance and water resistance . So I went with it and payed $3500 on the wood floor only , not including the glue which is a whole other expense and install . I got them installed nov 2015. Soon after I noticed that I was constantly see wood splinters and I would have to fill it with wood filler and color it in , especially since I have a baby crawling around . Then I realized scratches all over the floors just from our dinning table wood chairs or if I moved the pack n play which is not heavy at all and its plastic , it would also put large scratches. 2-5 months later I began to realize my floors are rising off the floor and forming waves, over time it got worse and worse . I can not explain to you the disappointment I have for this company and store and the fact that I got cheated and ripped off with the quality wood after I spent sooo much money on the wood , glue and install . I worked so hard and saved up to get the money to redo my floors and I tried to get the best floors by asking the so called experts at floor and decor , but instead I threw thousands of dollars in the trash . read more

I've been to Floor & Decor numerous times and have always had great service. Just left there tonight and the service was horrible. None of the employees knew anything about tile and they all seemed to be in slow motion. To end the ordeal, I had to count the tile 4 times for the cashier to get it right, while the useless associate that supposedly helped us stood by with her finger in her nose! So disappointed! Went to several tile stores and found Floor & Decor had our decor we wanted for our bathroom. One of the employees (Chad) walked up to us and asked if we needed any assistance and I said yes. He calmly asked what our goal was for the bathroom and our color scheme we wanted. As a married couple there are often several disagreements we go through over selecting our color scheme. Chad was an answer to our prayers, he helped us select out tiles, grout, thin set and even gave us the item number to another item if we decided to buy it later. So we ended up buying everything for the bathroom and this great store and Chad helped us even more buy loading the heavy items onto the cart and into my truck. So far...SUPER! Once in awhile I've had to wait 3 or 4 mins. to have someone available to help me, but everyone has been great when they available. They have a good selection of products and know the product. Always helpful for those of us who are handy but need info to do installations. They will hook you up with installers if needed. I've bought off the floor and done special orders. I've done returns on both. Easily done. They are very good about informing you of special order restock fees. Hey, it costs them and the supplier to restock product, especially when heavy material has to be shipped back to a supplier. Totally reasonable. Much better experience than going to a home improvement store and the prices are VERY good. read more

I came here on Monday to outfit my new business. WOW!!!! I must say their inventory is substantial. They have more selection than any other of their sister stores. Garrett was very friendly with showing us tiles in different shades and textures. Tony sealed the deal with his calculations as well as knowledge of grouts. This place is amazing. I was there on a Saturday, and had no less than four people ask if they could help! I made an appointment with their designer Nikea, who saved me at least four hours helping design kitchen, whole house and bath tile. Andrea, the store manager, got involved personally, just to help complete the transaction, and has been very available to help add items purchased online to our order. In today's world of big box stores and no service, this was a breath of fresh air. Oh, and the prices? I saved over $3000 over what the quote was from Arizona tile.
