Capital counter remodeled my kitchen in 2021 and was 100% satisfied. Summer of 2023, we had a slab leaked and damaged a portion of my kitchen. Trusting their quality of work, I went to Juan and he agreed to repair our kitchen. Once repaired, we could not tell that the damaged portioned had been replaced with new cabinets. Capital counter offers quality work and I am 100% satisfied customer. Efren read more

Capital Counters & Cabinets is awesome. The company does excellent work with skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail. Gary Davider is an honest businessman and stellar character. The job came in under schedule and under budget! Customer's can't ask for better than that! read more

We must have spoken with a dozen companies and had 7-8 out to give us ideas/estimates regarding our laundry room project. As soon as we called Capital - we felt like they knew exactly what they were doing. Everyone was incredible - Osmara was communicative and helped move the project along so quickly. Horacio and his team were thorough and they were incredibly meticulous. They paid attention to detail and we are thrilled with the result. Every person we met with was so helpful. We would gladly recommend this company and this team to anyone for any project - and we will definitely be letting our neighbors know as well! read more

Where do I begin? Our full Capital Counters Team consisted of Ron, Ariella, Alejandra, and Danny (in that order). We shopped around before going with Capital for our kitchen/dining room remodel. We updated our kitchen from oak to white cabinets (refinish by Lalo), Cambria Bentley countertops, complimentary backsplash, stainless steel sink, and gray "wood flooring" (actually laminate). We also opened up the space we used for our dining room/entry way by replacing tile and carpet with the new flooring. In addition to these updates, we also had our oak bathroom cabinets refinished to white. We are happy with our new updated look (thanks for your patience with us, Ariella), and especially pleased with Danny's management of our project. The only surprise was that our flooring was popular and on back-order, but Danny seemed to anticipate the delivery and managed to still keep us on schedule for the anticipated completion date. Our entire project was finished within 3-4 weeks, as promised. We were so pleased that we have asked for other updates (e.g., extra end caps), and although the promised job is complete Danny has been responsive and has already put in our change order requests. If we have a future job within the scope of work performed by Capital, we will be back. read more

I was thoroughly disappointed in the purchase I made with this company to remodel our master bath. I will give you the highlights or lowlights, if you will in the hopes that you don't spend over $40,000 with this company and regret it as much as I do. -Timeline... they promised one in the beginning of the job but never gave us one.......verbally told us 3-4 weeks and the job lasted 7-8 and only finished when I held up payment until they finished. -Communication... Chris the project manager called a lot but talked in circles mostly and apologized telling us "this has never happened before". He often asked me to communicate to his workers (instead of doing it himself) who obviously had the same communication struggles with him. He continuously promised guys would be there and get a certain task done but that wouldn't get done. He even told me the cabinet guy was at the house just minutes earlier only to find out he had never been there at all and was completely lied to. He told me to tell his worker to install all the towel rings and hardware but the guy wanted to go home at 6pm and clearly did not want to do it so i ended up doing it myself. -Workmanship...they told me 2 days before demolition they couldn't get a trench drain in oil rubbed bronze and i would need to source it myself, I found one within minutes online and had it delivered in just a few days. They completely missed installing 4 floating shelves in our shower enclosure, couldn't find matching antique bronze sink drain rings and told me at the end we had to live with chrome. They had to fix the floor transition and baseboards, the back-slpash isn't the same length as the vanity, oh and they forgot to order our final inspection until i reminded them and told them i would put a stop payment on the check until we got the final inspection. Bottom line is this company is highly unprofessional, unorganized, and should be avoided at all costs. I vented all these frustrations to my project manager and even told him to have the owner call me......of course, no call. I found them on Yelp and hired them based on reviews so it is only fitting that I provide my feedback to save the next Yelper some frustration and money.....I would not use them again. read more

I am very disappointed with the work that was done by Capital Counters. We contracted them to replace our old 12x12 granite tile countertops with Quartz, including the island. The quartz slabs were fabricated to have a mitered edge with a 2.5" drop or edge. II've had my new Quartz Counters for about a year and am unhappy with the fabrication. There are voids or gaps at the mitered edges, I complained about this problem to the company months ago. A sales guy/project manager came to my home to have a look it and to discuss having additional work done in our bathrooms. He said the voids/gaps might be from settling. He promised to have someone out to repair it. They've never followed through on the repairs or the additional work. In addition, when the work was being done they were suppose to install enough plywood to account for the 2.5" drop we had selected. Everyone involved in the project was aware of what needed to be done. Upon completion of the project when we were re-installing our dishwasher we discovered they failed to install enough plywood to bring up the counters to account for 2,5" drop. The counter was to low to install the dishwasher & it was not easy to open the drawers. We allowed them to correct the problem on the entire perimeter by grinding off about a 1/2" of the dropped edge to give enough clearance to fit the dishwasher in and to be able to open drawers. We left the island the way it was and just added handles to those drawers so we could open them. We spent almost $10,000. on this job and it has been a debacle. read more

Capital counters did a great job remodeling my kitchen. They listened to what we want and provided advise where warranted. The result is a kitchen where storage is no longer an issue and counters are not only beautiful but also very easy to clean (no more dirty grouts to scrub). We chose quartz countertops and custom white cabinets. In addition, inside these cabinets are storage solutions such as pull out drawers and "lazy susan"hardware. Then there's my favorite feature...the coffee bar/wine bar. Thank you Valerie for walking us through the process and helping us put into paper our vision for our kitchen. It was also great working with Danny and his crew. His team were skilled and professional. They were good in listening to us and addressed our concerns to our satisfaction. read more

So nice you can say it twice. NICE NICE. We had our kitchen counter-tops upgraded from tile to quartz with an overhang as well as a 6 inch back-splash and full back-splash over the stove. About Juan, he is super energetic and very passionate about what he does. It's really nice to see someone working and loving what they do. He had a laptop with a million pictures and had every possible recommendation to share. He was very patient with us and worked with us as well as our time frame. They were quick to come and get to installing. I want to say that most places do not assist with the plumbing portion but he had a great person come in and completely replace the piping in the bottom of the sink and get everything completed perfectly and professionally. I gotta say that I did get about 5 quotes and 3 of those are also high ranking people on yelp but these guys had the best pricing and was very excited to have the business. After our kitchen counter-tops were completed we were so happy we also recommended for my parent's home. They chose granite and again their service was excellent. They even gave my parents the remainder pieces cleaned up for their garden. They have granite steps for their plants now. These guys are down to earth, direct, honest, and fast. They completed the work earlier than scheduled. I will be using these guys again and I have saved their number. Great company and great service. read more

I highly recommend Capital Counters! I went over there and chose a beautiful countertop from their wide selection of kitchen counters. Made an appointment for a couple days later but unfortunately (or luckily), when the installer picked up our slabs, he checked them and noticed they were damaged. There weren't more slabs available at the time so he called me and offered me to pick out another slab. I got to choose from such beautiful counters and hand picked all the slabs, I'm happy in the end it did't work out with my original choice! The next day (Saturday!) they installed my new kitchen counters and I am SO happy about the end result! It looks absolutely gorgeous. Great customer service & friendly people who take their time for you and deliver an awesome job. When we're ready to replace our kitchen cabinets we'll definitely go back to this place. We are extremely pleased with the work Capital Countertops did with our kitchen countertops. Right from the start Gary was very professional, upfront, and creative with what would look good in our kitchen. While my wife and I knew we wanted new countertops we didn't know all the fine details that go into it, and Gary was helpful in going over everything with us and even providing his own creative input. It's those fine details that everyone who comes over to our house notice almost immediately. From the special type of bullnosing to the small step up design for our kitchen window, a lot of detail and care went into the work performed. My wife and I spoke with several contractors and Capital Countertops not only came in as one of the lowest bids, they also weren't as pushy for a commitment like some of the others were. Overall they seemed like the best fit, and when all was said and done, we were happy we went with them. Moving forward with them was a breeze. The work started on a Monday and ended on a Thursday. Since the countertops were the last piece of our Kitchen remodel, the workers were extremely courteous of our new floors and recently refinished cabinets and cleaned up very well after they were finished. We will definitely be recommending Capital Countertops to all our neighbors, friends, and family. read more

My husband and I had gotten several estimates from various places and Capital Countertops estimate was considerably less. We were shocked! We felt no pressure to make a decision right then and there, unlike other the other places we got estimates from. We were able to afford to get more done in the kitchen than we thought we would! We had figured we would have to do a little at a time because of the other outrageous quotes we had received. Jose did the majority of the work and it's great. Everything was cleaned up each night. Jose would let me know what the plans would be for the next day. He would show up promptly the next morning. I love the way our kitchen turned out! It is workable now and looks wonderful. We had a big party and everyone was blown away by how awesome the kitchen looked. It is now much more user friendly not only for parties but for everyday life. They also do flooring which I would love to get done, but it will have to wait until we have more play money :) The reason I took off one star is because a lack of communication in the end. I'm not sure what happened but we needed one item corrected and I was told (via email) they would call me on said day and it didn't happen. This minor item got dragged out way longer than it should. Again it was a minor issue but it still needed to be corrected. I know Gary and Jaun were in the middle of relocating their business so I tried to give them a little slack. In the end I was a little frustrated and passed getting the correction fixed to my husband to deal with. read more

After just 11 months the counters have black spots forming and no liquid was poured on the counter and after talking to Juan he simply doesn't seem to care as they've been paid already. Be careful they are friendly in the beginning but don't seem to care after the fact. Might get a good deal but cost you at the end. I've reached out for a remedy hoping Juan would step up and take care of it and he simply suggested we did it but no one even uses this upstairs bathroom and those spots are definitely a manufacturer defect. read more

If you are reviewing companies to do your counters and cabinets, you can stop and go with Capital- you won't be disappointed! I spent a lot of time reviewing other companies and had several estimates already in hand until I met with Capital. Their level of professionalism surpassed all the others and instilled trust that they would do a good job. Their teamwork and dedication will bring your dream into a reality; I know, because they did it for me with my kitchen remodel. The owners of the company, Gary and Juan, are doing a fabulous job with their leadership and take a hands-on approach to making sure the customer is satisfied. I am completely impressed by Capital Counters and Cabinets and am so happy I found them! First impressions say a lot about a business and Capital Counters and Cabinets nailed it! I was looking to renovate my kitchen- new cabinets, countertops, removal of a pony wall, and replace florescent light with recessed lights. Juan was my initial contact when he came to my home to discuss what I wanted to do with the kitchen remodel and obtain measurements for an estimate. I was very impressed with the time he took to understand my vision and provided knowledgeable insight and recommendations. He was able to provide me with an initial written estimate that evening. He then suggested I visit the showroom and meet with one of their interior designers to discuss cabinet and countertop options. Although it was a drive to their Corona site, I am so glad I went. Their beautiful showroom is amazing! The showroom is so professionally designed with many, many displays of everything needed to do a kitchen (or bath) remodel! I was BLOWN AWAY when I went into there am so glad I took the time to see their place. I met with Ariella, the interior designer, who had all our kitchen plans sketched up in a computerized format that made it so easy to see the possible remodel in its completion. She gave me a tour and showed me different cabinet and quartz options and brands. They have an exceptionally large selection and can accommodate your budget. Ariella was a pleasure to work with- she able to answer all my questions and provided me with a custom kitchen design that exceeded my expectations. She listened to what I wanted, and recommended things I had never thought of. Since all the design is done on the computer, it was easy for her to switch things around and show me how it would look. After meeting with Ariella, seeing their showroom, and how everything was so professionally done with my estimate, I decided to go with Capital and have absolutely no regrets about it! Chris and Osmara were the project managers I worked with and they are amazing! They were always available when I had a question, and frequently checked in throughout the entire project. Chris came by my house often to check on the progress of the job and make sure I was satisfied. I felt reassured he knew exactly that was happening with the work being done and future plans. He is a great communicator and kept the project flowing smoothly. I did not have to worry about coordinating anything because Chris and Osmara took care of everything. I am extremely pleased with the high quality of the kitchen remodel and all the installer's expertise and craftsmanship. Herbert is a man with many skills and constantly amazed me with his knowledge and creativity. He did the demolition, electrical, plumbing relocation, drywall extension and repair, and appliance installation. I knew unexpected issues occur during remodels, but that didn't hinder Herbert. He was able to provide excellent solutions to anything that we had not thought of. He is serious about his craft and wants everything to be perfect (something I greatly appreciated). He is a true asset to their company. The cabinets were installed by Francisco and they are absolutely beautiful! He made sure everything was fitted exactly right and took the time to prep the house and clean up after everything was installed. He is another skilled craftsman that take pride in his work! Lastly, the quartz countertop and backsplash were templated and installed by Antonio and Frederico. I wanted to see how the quartz was going to be cut, and Capital Counters offered to have me meet with Antonio and Frederico at the shop to see how they planned to template my slabs of quartz. The veining on the Cambria quartz I selected is so beautiful I wanted to make sure that was highlighted in the final cut. Well, these guys did not disappoint either! They are experts and showed me how they planned on taking full advantage of the beautiful veining of the quartz when fabricating the countertops and backsplash. Thank you, Capital Counters and Cabinets, for making my dream kitchen a reality! I am so happy with their work; I plan to have them replace my entire house flooring next. read more

Excellent work and quality materials at a reasonable price, what more can you ask for ! From Juan the part owner, the young creative design girl that spent many hours with us on the selection and drawings, visiting the slab warehouse and picking out the materials, and of course Juan the fabricator that cut and installed the countertops, all stellar work and customer service. I'm not going to talk about how horrible their work is because it isn't. They are subcontractors so the work is actually not theirs. It all started great, one guys comes out to take measurements. Then you meet to pick what materials you want. A simple bathroom remodel. My circa 1970's shower needed a face lift. The contract "stated approximately 4 wks"...... STATED 4 Weeks... sign your contract, then 6 guys show up ( these are project managers, here to check out the project). Demolition day comes, they get rid of all the old.... then you wait 2 wks and nothing happens..... then a cabinet is installed. Then you wait another 2 wks and tile guy finally shows up. Then you wait and no one ever comes for weeks on end... three months later they finally finish the job. During the interim you find out they had a huge turn over of employees.... Ha? I wonder what caused that???? Never again, don't hire these jokers. read more

This is the second review that we have left for Capital Counters. Again, we have to thank Chris, Osmara, Ariella , and Cameron for the professionalism and quality completion of the renovations. Gary, thank you for setting high standards for your employees. The quality work allowed us to sell our house in July of 2022 for top dollar and the comments from prospective buyers were all complimentary with everyone thinking it was a brand new home instead of a 30 year old home. We recently decided to start a long awaited kitchen reno/refresh. We had nice wooden 1980's golden oak cabs (great shape) and white tile counters. Both were very dated. We have a very large kitchen area/great room with huge island, butler's pantry, a desk/linen and broom closet... and a banister with posts next to the kitchen that needed the same treatment. We decided we wanted to stain the cabs darker rather than go for refacing or replacement. I did a lot of research online, saw Capital Counter and Cabinets and decided to visit the show room in Corona. As soon as I walked in the door, it felt right. Ronnie, Cristina and Alejandra were extremely pleasant to work with. They provided me samples to bring home and offered good advice to achieve the look that I wanted. They were able to coordinate everything from selection to install of each phase. Whenever I had a question, they were on it. They made it really easy for me. First phase was staining the mass amounts of cabs and banister. Lalo completed the work and he was incredible. I cannot express HOW AMAZING my cabs and banister look. Lalo is a true ARTIST. He was able to achieve a shade that took my breath away. It was perfect. You can see the personality of the grain through the stain and it adds a pop to the kitchen. Lalo is a perfectionist and is so meticulous. From the prep work to the finished product, Lalo's work reflects a true craftsman, absolutely phenomenal. BEST STAIN WORK I HAVE EVER SEEN...EVER! Next step was selecting the granite. We went to Quality Marble and worked with Ryan Pacheco. When we arrived, Ryan was able to show us the granite I had previously selected from Capital Cabs. When I saw the three slabs, they were not quite what I wanted. Ryan suggested a few others and after walking around we saw too many beautiful slabs. Ryan was really patient with me as I could not decide. He pulled a sample door out of the showroom that was the color of my new cabs and we placed it against the slabs. Done! We made the PERFECT granite selection. Ryan was great to work with. He really was professional, very knowledgeable, friendly and again, VERY PATIENT. This is the place to go when we need any stone or granite! Granite installation was completed by Tony and Crew from Capital Cabs. They were really a great team to watch work. From measuring, making the pattern to the install, these men really knew how to do it right. Precision work was done on each piece and it looked incredible. A great group of guys who worked really hard!! So happy! From start to finish it was really fast, every phase had really great contractors to work with and as you can see by my lengthy review, I am ECSTATIC about my kitchen. It is just GORGEOUS! So happy with Capital Counter and Cabinets!! read more

Initial showroom visit. Planning our kitchen remodel has been a long process. We visited many showrooms and received quotes from several other companies but didn't feel right with any of them. We then visited the Capital Countertops showroom where we had a lengthy discussion with Juan and Gary. They were both easy to talk to and didn't pressure us with any sales tactics. We had numerous other visits and discussions in the days to follow. We ultimately selected Capital due to a feeling of confidence with Gary and Juan. These two professionals took the time to discuss all our options and help design our new kitchen. Actually it was all of our downstairs living area that was being transformed, including kitchen cabinets, countertops, island, bar area, new toilets, and tile. We had a myriad of inquiries, all of which were promptly responded by phone or text (even on the weekend). That is what customer service is about. Construction. The demo/construction was the most stressful part for us. Fortunately for us Capital has a very competent contractor named Adam (this guy knows a lot about construction). Right from the commencement he and his team wasted no time tearing up our old kitchen and tiles. His two team mates, Clinton and Pedro, were also very helpful. Adam communicated with us daily as to what was on the project agenda. Any concerns that would arise were dealt with very quickly by the team. They made this whole project run very smooth and finish a week ahead of schedule. Good communication and great project management made this a remarkable remodeling experience. We are very pleased with the finished product. We would highly recommend this company and the team of gentlemen that worked on our home. We will unquestionably use Capital for any of our remodeling needs. read more

We spent a while looking around and kept on getting estimates that always turned out to be false. All of which told us what we could and couldn't do. We told him what we wanted and he offered valuable knowledge on how he would do what we asked. Email communication was always prompt and the quote was very detailed. The workers that showed up were friendly and professional. Clinton went out of his way to explain the steps and updated us throughout the day with progress. They quoted me the cheapest quartz possible they referred to it as "group A" which is not any name brand & they were still much higher than another local company that quoted me granite. We also asked for a quote to resurface our cabinets which came out to more than double what we were quoted by another contractor for the same process. After trying to lower our countertop cost by taking out the plumming portion we found out that the original quote was missing the line item for the labor for installation of backsplash - an expensive line item! so the project was even more than originally quoted.
