    Kitchen before and after
    Nicol H.

Where do I begin? Our full Capital Counters Team consisted of Ron, Ariella, Alejandra, and Danny (in that order). We shopped around before going with Capital for our kitchen/dining room remodel. We updated our kitchen from oak to white cabinets (refinish by Lalo), Cambria Bentley countertops, complimentary backsplash, stainless steel sink, and gray "wood flooring" (actually laminate). We also opened up the space we used for our dining room/entry way by replacing tile and carpet with the new flooring. In addition to these updates, we also had our oak bathroom cabinets refinished to white. We are happy with our new updated look (thanks for your patience with us, Ariella), and especially pleased with Danny's management of our project. The only surprise was that our flooring was popular and on back-order, but Danny seemed to anticipate the delivery and managed to still keep us on schedule for the anticipated completion date. Our entire project was finished within 3-4 weeks, as promised. We were so pleased that we have asked for other updates (e.g., extra end caps), and although the promised job is complete Danny has been responsive and has already put in our change order requests. If we have a future job within the scope of work performed by Capital, we will be back.

I was thoroughly disappointed in the purchase I made with this company to remodel our master bath. I will give you the highlights or lowlights, if you will in the hopes that you don't spend over $40,000 with this company and regret it as much as I do. -Timeline... they promised one in the beginning of the job but never gave us one.......verbally told us 3-4 weeks and the job lasted 7-8 and only finished when I held up payment until they finished. -Communication... Chris the project manager called a lot but talked in circles mostly and apologized telling us "this has never happened before". He often asked me to communicate to his workers (instead of doing it himself) who obviously had the same communication struggles with him. He continuously promised guys would be there and get a certain task done but that wouldn't get done. He even told me the cabinet guy was at the house just minutes earlier only to find out he had never been there at all and was completely lied to. He told me to tell his worker to install all the towel rings and hardware but the guy wanted to go home at 6pm and clearly did not want to do it so i ended up doing it myself. -Workmanship...they told me 2 days before demolition they couldn't get a trench drain in oil rubbed bronze and i would need to source it myself, I found one within minutes online and had it delivered in just a few days. They completely missed installing 4 floating shelves in our shower enclosure, couldn't find matching antique bronze sink drain rings and told me at the end we had to live with chrome. They had to fix the floor transition and baseboards, the back-slpash isn't the same length as the vanity, oh and they forgot to order our final inspection until i reminded them and told them i would put a stop payment on the check until we got the final inspection. Bottom line is this company is highly unprofessional, unorganized, and should be avoided at all costs. I vented all these frustrations to my project manager and even told him to have the owner call me......of course, no call. I found them on Yelp and hired them based on reviews so it is only fitting that I provide my feedback to save the next Yelper some frustration and money.....I would not use them again.

These are the voids/gaps along the mitered edges of my counters, both perimeter & island.

I am very disappointed with the work that was done by Capital Counters. We contracted them to replace our old 12x12 granite tile countertops with Quartz, including the island. The quartz slabs were fabricated to have a mitered edge with a 2.5" drop or edge. II've had my new Quartz Counters for about a year and am unhappy with the fabrication. There are voids or gaps at the mitered edges, I complained about this problem to the company months ago. A sales guy/project manager came to my home to have a look it and to discuss having additional work done in our bathrooms. He said the voids/gaps might be from settling. He promised to have someone out to repair it. They've never followed through on the repairs or the additional work. In addition, when the work was being done they were suppose to install enough plywood to account for the 2.5" drop we had selected. Everyone involved in the project was aware of what needed to be done. Upon completion of the project when we were re-installing our dishwasher we discovered they failed to install enough plywood to bring up the counters to account for 2,5" drop. The counter was to low to install the dishwasher & it was not easy to open the drawers. We allowed them to correct the problem on the entire perimeter by grinding off about a 1/2" of the dropped edge to give enough clearance to fit the dishwasher in and to be able to open drawers. We left the island the way it was and just added handles to those drawers so we could open them. We spent almost $10,000. on this job and it has been a debacle.

Capital did an awesome job with staining my cabinets and drawers in my kitchen. They were professional and cleaned up their mess. It was also nice to see them arrive each day at the time they said. Very impressed and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to do a remodel.

This company is the best! We had them installed our flooring, install new cabinets and a quartz countertops to our bathrooms and kitchen, along with creating a wine rack and installing a wine fridge along with pendant lights in the kitchen and hallways! They did a beautiful job! The project manager kept us informed with updates on when they were coming to do the work and everything was done in a timely manner. The quality of workmanship was excellent. I would recommend them to friends and relatives. What a great experience!

Full kitchen remodel! Opened up the cabinets to do floating shelves!

WOW! I can't describe how excited I was with my remodel! We did a complete house remodel (new flooring, new cabinets, new counters, new shower, new paint... pretty much new EVERYTHING! We enjoyed having detailed and beautiful renderings of all of the areas so we could visually see the finishes and the designs. Our project was completed on time with no major hiccups! Ariella was our designer and Justin was our project manager. All of the workers that came in and our of the job were friendly, clean, and hard workers! This type of remodel can be super stressful so we were excited that Capital made it as painless as possible! Thank you!

Fantastic pricing, craftsmanship and customer service all rolled into one company. Less than a week from selection of 3 slabs of granite to a beautifully install of a complete kitchen, bathroom vanity and bar area counter top. I couldn't be happier with the whole Capital crew!

I highly recommend Capital Counters! I went over there and chose a beautiful countertop from their wide selection of kitchen counters. Made an appointment for a couple days later but unfortunately (or luckily), when the installer picked up our slabs, he checked them and noticed they were damaged. There weren't more slabs available at the time so he called me and offered me to pick out another slab. I got to choose from such beautiful counters and hand picked all the slabs, I'm happy in the end it did't work out with my original choice! The next day (Saturday!) they installed my new kitchen counters and I am SO happy about the end result! It looks absolutely gorgeous. Great customer service & friendly people who take their time for you and deliver an awesome job. When we're ready to replace our kitchen cabinets we'll definitely go back to this place. Thank you guys!!

We are extremely pleased with the work Capital Countertops did with our kitchen countertops. Right from the start Gary was very professional, upfront, and creative with what would look good in our kitchen. While my wife and I knew we wanted new countertops we didn't know all the fine details that go into it, and Gary was helpful in going over everything with us and even providing his own creative input. It's those fine details that everyone who comes over to our house notice almost immediately. From the special type of bullnosing to the small step up design for our kitchen window, a lot of detail and care went into the work performed. My wife and I spoke with several contractors and Capital Countertops not only came in as one of the lowest bids, they also weren't as pushy for a commitment like some of the others were. Overall they seemed like the best fit, and when all was said and done, we were happy we went with them. Moving forward with them was a breeze. The work started on a Monday and ended on a Thursday. Since the countertops were the last piece of our Kitchen remodel, the workers were extremely courteous of our new floors and recently refinished cabinets and cleaned up very well after they were finished. We will definitely be recommending Capital Countertops to all our neighbors, friends, and family.

My husband and I had gotten several estimates from various places and Capital Countertops estimate was considerably less. We were shocked! We felt no pressure to make a decision right then and there, unlike other the other places we got estimates from. We were able to afford to get more done in the kitchen than we thought we would! We had figured we would have to do a little at a time because of the other outrageous quotes we had received. Jose did the majority of the work and it's great. Everything was cleaned up each night. Jose would let me know what the plans would be for the next day. He would show up promptly the next morning. I love the way our kitchen turned out! It is workable now and looks wonderful. We had a big party and everyone was blown away by how awesome the kitchen looked. It is now much more user friendly not only for parties but for everyday life. They also do flooring which I would love to get done, but it will have to wait until we have more play money :) The reason I took off one star is because a lack of communication in the end. I'm not sure what happened but we needed one item corrected and I was told (via email) they would call me on said day and it didn't happen. This minor item got dragged out way longer than it should. Again it was a minor issue but it still needed to be corrected. I know Gary and Jaun were in the middle of relocating their business so I tried to give them a little slack. In the end I was a little frustrated and passed getting the correction fixed to my husband to deal with.

Can't speak about the quality of their work , but new business must be important to them . I even messaged them again and waiting a week for a response . I'll take my money and job to another company.

After just 11 months the counters have black spots forming and no liquid was poured on the counter and after talking to Juan he simply doesn't seem to care as they've been paid already. Be careful they are friendly in the beginning but don't seem to care after the fact. Might get a good deal but cost you at the end. I've reached out for a remedy hoping Juan would step up and take care of it and he simply suggested we did it but no one even uses this upstairs bathroom and those spots are definitely a manufacturer defect.

This is my second time as a real estate investor working with capital counters. On time, good prices, and they perform as promised. Communication was great and the team has just been awesome. Will be using again for future projects. For this project, they did the kitchen as well as the floors.

Johnny generously offered to take care of the necessary repairs and prep so that the kitchen project could continue. It was such a relief and the work done was incredible and thorough. I had no idea he would be a complete no-show and NOT show up. Not only a no-show, but no phone call, no explanation no nothing. What's even crazier, it was just 24 hours before April 14,, that one of his employees or partners named Andreas called just to tell me how excited he was to install my kitchen and that I had nothing to worry about they would be there and get it done. I have to be in my brand new home by May 31 st. So I begin to call around kitchen cabinet/kitchen installers all over Riverside County the Inland Empire and beyond. Every place told me that it would take it at least six weeks just to order the materials to make my kitchen counters and cabinets, and then I would have to find a date they were available to install the kitchen. After literally about 14 phone calls, I found Summit Cabniets! By a stroke of good luck , they had just had a cancellation but the owner said it was still going to be difficult to try to fit me in, but he would do his very best to accommodate my timeline. Anyone who knows me, knows that I can be redundant, part of that comes from the career I am in, because redundancy can often save a life! The phone rep Morris, and the owner of Summit cabinets didn't judge my emotional phone call, he just sat and did what very few people can do any more who are in business or selling products..... he listened compassionately. I think a lot contractors and building vendors forget that, though it may just be another project for them, it is a huge emotional and complex process for the homebuyer! Especially when it's someone like me who has saved and dreamed to build my own custom home. Vendors in the construction industry can become callous. This certainly was not the case with Summit Cabniets. Corona is not just a hop skip and a jump away from where I live in Cathedral City, However, before I could even get to his showroom in Corona, he had already been to my home, taking measurements, looked over my previous designs, the blueprints of my house, and had a fully designed kitchen, waiting for me when I arrived at the showroom. His budget was very fair only costing me a little bit more than the other company that completely ghosted me on the day of Install and still hasn't explained to me what happened. All I can say is , THANK GOD for Summit Cabniets. The showroom is awesome and professionally displays your many options for building a kitchen, he assisted me in picking out modern hardware for my kitchen, and he is the first person to understand the type of island I wanted built. The other company said it was impossible to build that type of island. I knew that simply wasn't true . Within moments, Summit produced a set of plans with the kitchen island, cabinets and counters that I dreamed about since I've been saving up for this beautiful home over 20 years ago! His calm, nonjudgmental, customer first attitude , and willing to listen to my dreary long story, was healing and exactly what I needed. It was also comforting to hear the warehouse attached to the showroom where I could hear construction of cabinets and kitchen countertops being constructed . The owner of Summit cabinets produced a very clear, itemized contract, and gave me his word both in paper and on video and to me personally that my kitchen will be completely installed by May 1 if not earlier. And the fact that the owner is also a general contractor, gives me even that much more peace. Im lucky to have a wonderful, and incredibly talented general contractor through a company called LEVEL UP construction. They have built me a perfect home exactly as I dreamed. And now thanks to Summit, I'll have the kitchen to go along with it! Had the owner of Summit not been able to do what he did, there is a very good chance I would not have a place to live after May 31st. My wonderful general contractor at LEVEL UP construction has almost completed the home, but the kitchen was one of the couple major things still needed so we can get our permit to move in. I will update this review once the kitchen is finished!!! But so far I am very impressed, and look forward to the finished product!

My wife and I had remodeled the downstairs of our home about 10 years ago and had been wanting to…read moreremodel our 2 upstairs bathrooms for a few years now, and finally decided to pull the trigger. My wife had very specific ideas about what she wanted, and I was concerned that we would not be able to make it work within our budget. We requested quotes from 3 different contractors, including Alexander Remodeling, which we found here on Yelp. David Alexander came out and walked through the project with us. He listened carefully to our requests and vision for the finished result, and he offered a few additional ideas of his own that we both liked as well. He provided a quote within just a few days, and even though it wasn't the lowest bid, we decided to go with David because we both felt that we could trust him to do what we wanted and to do it right. We had to wait for a few weeks to get started because he was already booked, but that worked for us because my wife had ordered the vanities, toilets, and plumbing fixtures, and we needed to wait for these to arrive before starting the project. It all worked out very well, because everything arrived and he was able to start on the date promised. The project was scheduled to take about 4 weeks, and it ended up taking a few days longer, but we did have him do some extra painting and make modifications to my wife's closet that turned out very nice. During the project, we even asked David to tile a larger section of the floor in the master bath area than what was originally planned, and he did it at no extra labor charge to us. After the project was complete, I had to ask him to come back and fix a couple of issues we identified, which he did in a very timely manner, even though he was already working on other jobs. My wife and I want to compliment David, Diego, Ceasar, and Jacob on the work they did in our home. Even though we have been in this house for 23 years now, it almost feels like living in a new home. I highly recommend Alexander Remoding for your home improvement needs.

I went with Alexander Remodeling and couldn't be happier with the end result. David was the first to respond to my quote inquiries and came for a walkthrough within a couple days. He is very straightforward and trustworthy; based on examples he showed from his own house and his recommendations on several aspects I was undecided on, I knew this project would be in good hands. The company is bonded, licensed, insured. David was very communicative through the whole project. His quote includes materials within a certain budget, and it was STILL the lowest of the 5 that I got. He also helps select the materials that are needed by providing links to a few options. His crew is super clean, professional, and has painstaking attention to detail. With several adults and a 1 year old at home, they were very conscious of notifying us about turning off the water and keeping it to a minimum. They keep the areas closed off for safety and minimizing the noise and dust. They put down cloths and paper to protect the floors and walkways from outside. At the end of the job they spent several days cleaning up everything and also the garage space where they kept the tools. They replaced everything except the floors, cabinets, and mirrors at my request. Everything was covered under the initial quote, including paint. David worked with us very generously on selections that we really wanted. Even with materials included, the waterproofing and shower materials were done with the best; they use Schluter everything. Since I work from home, the actual start date and duration were not that important to me. David's estimate was pretty spot on, it took a couple extra days but I did add on some work on our kitchen and had them come back to fix a couple things. This plus some recent kitchen appliance upgrades feels like living in a brand new house. All the showers are much more spacious, and the frameless doors look amazing. The grading on the shower pans means the water no longer pools and leaves rings I would have to scrub constantly. There are so many more little details I haven't mentioned, like the barely noticeable grading around the tub deck to help water flow back in, and how David added 2 extra can lights for free to make sure our master bath was perfectly lit. I couldn't be happier with my new bathrooms and kitchen sink and the work done by Alexander Remodeling.

We've done so many things that I couldn't attach all the photos as it's reached Yelp's limit.. Our shower valve bursted so we needed a restoration for the kitchen (right down below) and the master bathroom. Overall they renovated our kitchen, master bathroom, second-floor flooring, stairs, and replaced our water regulator and some water boxes. The results exceeded our expectations. I still remember after installing the cabinets, I noticed the pantry and one more cabinet's doors were very slightly not aligned and was planning to tell Martin about it. However before I had the chance it was already fixed. We really appreciate such details. The crew was very professional and kept the space as clean as possible during construction. Our home feels completely transformed, and we couldn't be happier with the final outcome. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for renovation work.

Their pricing was fair, transparent, and refreshingly honest--no surprises, no games. Communication was effortless, and the entire team (especially Martin, Mike & Jr) were professional, respectful, and a pleasure to work with. They showed up on time every single day, kept the work area clean, and treated my home with care and respect throughout the process. The quality of workmanship is outstanding. Every detail was executed with precision, and it's clear they take real pride in their craft. What truly sets COVA Construction apart, though, is that they consistently went above and beyond--doing things the right way, not the easy way. It's rare to find a construction company that delivers elite detail, integrity, and reliability all at once. COVA Construction did exactly that. I'm absolutely pleased and thankful with my new kitchen and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for top-tier work. If you're considering COVA Construction--stop considering and hire them.

From the start, Hanna really stood out. He's not just a contractor--he genuinely knows what he's doing. He walked me through everything, explained the process, and caught multiple issues from the previous work that I didn't even realize were problems. Instead of cutting corners, he fixed everything the right way. They handled new framing, opening up walls, plumbing corrections, and a full rebuild of the space. The craftsmanship really shows, especially in the details. The shower tile work is flawless, and the shampoo niche came out super clean and well-designed. The new tile flooring ties everything together perfectly, and the paint finish gives the whole bathroom a fresh, modern coastal feel. Wes was also great to work with--professional, efficient, and clearly takes pride in his work. You can tell these guys care about doing things properly, not just getting the job done. What I appreciated most was the honesty and attention to detail. Hanna is just a great guy overall--easy to talk to, reliable, and someone you can trust to make the right decisions on your project. Bathroom passed inspection, and Hanna, and Wes handled the inspection process professionally. If you're thinking about remodeling and want it done right, I highly recommend Hanna and Wes. They completely transformed my bathroom and fixed what others messed up. Couldn't ask for a better experience. I will use them for future projects in the future.
