I have hired Riverside cabinets three times, from big projects to small ones and each time, they have exceeded my expectations in communication and quality. Most notably, they were able to create custom fish tank cabinets our large 7 foot fish tank that acts as a room divider. They also helped repair a cabinet door that broke off of my bedroom furniture when my daughter swung on it and they helped me get a replacement cabinet door with a quick turn-around time when one of our pre-fab cabinet doors broke that came with the house we bought. 5 stars. We had cabinets made by Riverside Cabinets, as a part of a remodel, about 8 years ago. Tom came out with our general contractor and the two of the did our remodel design on some scratch paper. They did an excellent job. The cabinets are beautiful. We also toured their factory and that was impressive. They actually pre-built the entire kitchen in their shop before installing it. Our cabinets are white, and we have had some issues with the paint wearing, peeling and chipping. They came out once and touched the cabinets up, but that did not last. We meant to have them do some more work on it, or take some of the doors to them, but we procrastinated. I contacted them recently and Tom said the warranty was expired and that the issue was because we did not take care of the cabinets. That is simply not true. He accused us of neglecting cabinet care and also blamed the crappy paint on the State of California. The paint on the cabinets has never been right - but only near where there is heavy use or near water. We dry the cabinets when they get wet. This issue is a DEFECT in materials or workmanship, and all we geet are excuses and accusations, so I would not recommend getting painted cabinets from this company. read more

We have used Tom and his team several times now and he is an excellent craftsman and visionary. We have had nothing but great work and excellent service. Our kitchen and game room look spectacular in large part to the beautifully crafted cabinetry. We're ready to start a remodel again and I was looking for Riverside cabinets phone number. We heard about Riverside Cabinets from a sales person at Pacific Sales. We had been thinking about remodeling our kitchen for years but just didn't know even where to start. We are so happy with our whole experience with Tom and his crew, and the results are 1000 times better than we even imagined. They were all so patient with us throughout the design process, (we must have popped in over there at least 50 times!) and implementation from start to finish. Arlene (the designer and main contact in the office) was such a wonderful help, and between her and Tom working together with us everything went so smoothly, and they were such a pleasure. All the guys who came into our home were real pros and genuinely nice, polite and communicative. Tom's wife, Kathy, was always so sweet to us whether on the phone or in person. Our cabinetry is perfect, from the functionality to the layout to all the wonderful details inside and out. It's difficult to find adequate words to express how happy we are.
