On April 14, this past Monday, I was supposed to have my kitchen installed in my brand new custom home by a company called 365 cabinets DS in Indio CA I had no reason to believe that on April 14 the day of installation which we had set up weeks before ...... I had no idea he would be a complete no-show and NOT show up. Not only a no-show, but no phone call, no explanation no nothing. What's even crazier, it was just 24 hours before April 14,, that one of his employees or partners named Andreas called just to tell me how excited he was to install my kitchen and that I had nothing to worry about they would be there and get it done. I have to be in my brand new home by May 31 st. So I begin to call around kitchen cabinet/kitchen installers all over Riverside County the Inland Empire and beyond. Every place told me that it would take it at least six weeks just to order the materials to make my kitchen counters and cabinets, and then I would have to find a date they were available to install the kitchen. After literally about 14 phone calls, I found Summit Cabniets! By a stroke of good luck , they had just had a cancellation but the owner said it was still going to be difficult to try to fit me in, but he would do his very best to accommodate my timeline. Anyone who knows me, knows that I can be redundant, part of that comes from the career I am in, because redundancy can often save a life! The phone rep Morris, and the owner of Summit cabinets didn't judge my emotional phone call, he just sat and did what very few people can do any more who are in business or selling products..... he listened compassionately. I think a lot contractors and building vendors forget that, though it may just be another project for them, it is a huge emotional and complex process for the homebuyer! Especially when it's someone like me who has saved and dreamed to build my own custom home. Vendors in the construction industry can become callous. This certainly was not the case with Summit Cabniets. Corona is not just a hop skip and a jump away from where I live in Cathedral City, However, before I could even get to his showroom in Corona, he had already been to my home, taking measurements, looked over my previous designs, the blueprints of my house, and had a fully designed kitchen, waiting for me when I arrived at the showroom. His budget was very fair only costing me a little bit more than the other company that completely ghosted me on the day of Install and still hasn't explained to me what happened. All I can say is , THANK GOD for Summit Cabniets. The showroom is awesome and professionally displays your many options for building a kitchen, he assisted me in picking out modern hardware for my kitchen, and he is the first person to understand the type of island I wanted built. The other company said it was impossible to build that type of island. I knew that simply wasn't true . Within moments, Summit produced a set of plans with the kitchen island, cabinets and counters that I dreamed about since I've been saving up for this beautiful home over 20 years ago! His calm, nonjudgmental, customer first attitude , and willing to listen to my dreary long story, was healing and exactly what I needed. It was also comforting to hear the warehouse attached to the showroom where I could hear construction of cabinets and kitchen countertops being constructed . The owner of Summit cabinets produced a very clear, itemized contract, and gave me his word both in paper and on video and to me personally that my kitchen will be completely installed by May 1 if not earlier. And the fact that the owner is also a general contractor, gives me even that much more peace. Im lucky to have a wonderful, and incredibly talented general contractor through a company called LEVEL UP construction. They have built me a perfect home exactly as I dreamed. And now thanks to Summit, I'll have the kitchen to go along with it! Had the owner of Summit not been able to do what he did, there is a very good chance I would not have a place to live after May 31st. My wonderful general contractor at LEVEL UP construction has almost completed the home, but the kitchen was one of the couple major things still needed so we can get our permit to move in. I will update this review once the kitchen is finished!!! But so far I am very impressed, and look forward to the finished product! read more

Since I loved what they did with my kitchen remodel, I had Summit come out and do my lower level floors. I absolutely love the way they turned out! I originally wanted tile for my entire downstairs (1200 sq. feet) but Eric stated the rigid core planks were the way to go, they were durable, held up well with kids, and easy to clean. So we decided to go with the planks, and I am so glad we did. We don't have to worry about grout anymore or anything! Dean came out with his two associates and did the installation. Dean was such a pleasure to work with! He installed my floors in four days! I completed the demo, so it started with a concrete slab and ended as a beautiful work of art! I absolutely love my floors now! He took the time to make sure the lines were correct and everything lined up from the kitchen to the hallway. They even took the time to place it under my fireplace and got the correct caulk colors for my front door (black) and my slider (white) and even my garage door (silver). I appreciate all the attention to detail and he never hesitated to take his time and make sure it was right. And I love Summit because they are so clean! They bring their own trash bags and clean up to make sure everything is clean and not a mess at all. I love this company! Would 100000% recommend! Thank you Dean!!! read more

Extremely disappointed! Morris quoted me for kitchen cabinets & quartz counter tops, the quartz counter top estimate was to go all the way up the wall behind the vent hood. During cabinet installation Eric said "Oh no we can't do that, the wall should have been reinforced its too late now. WHAT? I have resources to do things like this but it was NEVER EVER mentioned. I called them and asked if they did custom cabinets. They said yes and came out for a quote for hall and master closet cabinets. They didn't give me what I asked for in the estimate for my master closet but I wanted to go forward with the work in the hall closets while they reworked the master. Morris said he needed Eric to come out to take final measurements. He did and I thought we would be installing. Then I received a new quote adding on $1700 to the quote for one cabinet! That was over a 50% increase in the quote. Wasted my time as I took time off work for two appointments and already told the other contractors I was going with another company. They were friendly and very helpful in choosing the best cabinets for my kitchen re-do. My cabinets were original to the house when built in 2007, and SO outdated. I went to the Summit showroom in Corona, and being very laid-back, I freely walked around looking at all their examples, and Jasmine and Morris answered all my questions. Eric also as the owner, was easy to do business with. I picked out my cabinets and handles, and told them I was designing my new kitchen distinctly for a woman to pleasantly and comfortably work in. So, I wanted the cabinets to be lower than any of the other kitchens being designed, and they accommodated my goals beautifully. I also decided to design it with beauty in mind, because I know women love to be beautiful...and to work in beautiful surroundings. The installation team went above and beyond to make sure that my cabinets and counters look good despite my walls being extraordinarily poorly built. The design team worked with me on four different iterations of my cabinet's design, working within my budget to get me my dream kitchen. My kitchen floor was out of level by something like 1.5 in and my walls were similarly out of plane. Despite all of that, I have a beautiful modern kitchen now. They had a very busy schedule, but managed to work my installation in, for which I am very thankful. The flooring installers did some damage when they installed the floors; however, Eric came out and fixed the numerous problems they created. This is my second time using Summit Cabinets. The showroom manager Morris is great to work with and bilingual. They have a variety of styles and it was incredible to sit down with Morris and help design my own kitchen. I was able to add a pantry where I didn't have one before along with roll out trays. I was even able to put in a spice rack! Eric came out for a final measurement and there were a few things he suggested fixing that I didn't realize. It came out a little more expensive but I appreciate the honesty in order to get things done right. These guys aren't just yes men to make a quick buck. They provide quality work and are honest about things issues that need to be addressed. Overall I am super thrilled with the work they've done and looking forward to future projects with them. Turns out they do flooring too! Already picking out what color based off of the samples in their showroom. The price I got was much better than some of the local Inland competitors. Eric was able to take my dream kitchen design (from a piece of paper)and turn it into reality! After we met in his showroom he came to the house to re-measure and confirm the exact layout I wanted. Eric was very patient with me and answered my million text questions promptly. We also decided to get our countertops thru Summit. I was able to go to the showroom and select the material/design that I wanted. When it came time for installation we were fortunate to work with James! He and his crew were very polite and did an incredible job. I had never done a kitchen remodel so it was nice to see the attention to detail they put into their work, and even better at the end of each day they cleaned up the work area. The cabinets we selected are high quality cabinets, solid box, dove tail drawers, soft close, etc. James made sure that we knew how to adjust the drawer glides in the event any heavy items we added inside threw off the alignment. On the last day, before he left, James walked thru the kitchen and wiped down every cabinet. Talk about taking pride in your work! Pictures do not do justice to how beautiful my kitchen turned out!
