Wow! This place is a GEM. If you want a deliciously seasoned burger, cooked to perfection that's juicy and flavorful then you better come here! The burger was outstanding. The hand cut fries were so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfectly salted and the fry sauce was also delicious. Really happy I found this place! It can be a little expensive compared to some other burger places but honestly I think it's decently priced. Definitely give this place a try. I was more than happy with my meal.

jesus h how do i even start this. first of all it took 35 minutes to get our food (9 chicken tenders and two burgers) when they weren't even busy. me and a group of friends went in together but ordered separately, so the women at the front decided to put all our food together. which we did NOT ask for. i will admit we were antsy and in a hurry but as someone who has worked as a server, host, dishwasher, line cook etc i can confidently say that these people do not work efficiently AT ALL. the women at the front was taking her SWEET TIME after we made it clear we were in a hurry. i wouldn't be writing this if the food was worth it because i completely understand sometimes food takes long but the food... THE FOOD WAS AWFUL. i would rather have someone vomit, freeze it and deep fry it then had the shit i had. i'll give it to them they don't have frozen tenders but FUCKK. i would rather they did. the chicken was just straight up burnt, dry and unflavored. when i say BURNT, i mean BURNTTT. it was inedible and we had to throw it away. i'm all for supporting small businesses but this place is overpriced and NOT IT, especially with the other restaurants around this area. i would avoid.

Absolutely delicious, small shop who is here to serve quality food! Gluten free buns and easily dairy free! Just tell them not to butter the bun if you are dairy free. Highly suggest!

It's a solid burger, fry, milkshake place. Limited menu with good ingredients. Vegetarian options available. This is NOT fast food, prepare for a 30-45 min wait to order/receive food, pretty much any time of the day. Limited seating inside/out. Basic Burger: 1/4 lb (pre-cooked weight) grass fed beef, shredded lettuce, sliced raw red onion, pickles and their house made sauce = $8.00 Everything else is an add on: slice of Tillamook or rogue creamy cheese +$1, grilled onions instead of raw +$2, add bacon or an egg +$1.50 They also have a chicken sandwich, mushroom burger, chicken tenders and fish and chips. Vegetarian options, but not vegan friendly. A super casual place to grab a basic Burger and find a spot downtown to eat *thumbs up*

finding burgers and fries free of gluten cross-contamination is really difficult, so I was so glad to hear that this place was cognizant of celiac safety, (and presumably other health-related dietary restrictions)? GF flour is used for fried items which is awesome. however, i did get a little nervous when my fries were on the same tray as the gluten buns and almost touching them--if you have celiac like i do, maybe specify that it's not just your bun that needs to be kept safe i was impressed by the GF bun... many fall apart too easily. the fries were pretty good, and i loved the truffle aioli as much as i enjoyed my visit here, i would not go here at any time when you think it might be busy. and even if you can get a seat, the seating arrangements are quite cramped, but in fairness, the size of the place doesn't really allow for any other option

    Uncooked burger from Flip.

More than $20 for a combo (if you want things like cheese and dipping sauce... they nickel and dime you for everything), and the burger isn't even cooked! You would do better at Wendy's. I'm forwarding these pictures to the Jackson County Health Department.

Over priced. $65 for 3 burgers with fries and a chicken finger basket. Decent burger but small.

We're meeting the family in Ashland for hubby's Diamond Year. We're the first to arrive, so we went…read moreout for a walk, in search of food. We looked at the menu, it said something about a 'creek'. We're sold! As we entered the restaurant, we were asked: "Would you prefer seats by the creek or inside. It was too dark inside to read the menu, and anything to do with water, I'm there. I found the perfect table, where it's closest to the creek waves, but we were soon have to move, because the restaurant shares the outside tables with the restaurant next door. I was sort-of disappointed. The waiter, and the excellent BBQ Ribs & Kettle Chips took that away! Hubby's Recession Burger and Classic Fries were also just as good. He also ordered a side of black bean chili. Service was exceedingly friendly. Waiter was very informative about the direction, how to get to the other side of the creek, it was a perfect hike for us, on that beautiful afternoon. UPDATE: Our dinner was so good last night, we ended back to the other side of the creek, to Louie's for lunch! Our waiter recognized us. We sat closer to the wall, almost the same table as we sat last night, too, with a different waitress, who is just as pleasant and friendly as our waiter. This time hubby ordered a BLT (smoky bacon piled HIGH, and I mean piled HIGH) and Kettle Chips, while I settled for Spring rolls. The spring rolls were not large, they're like half of a normal size. His BLT came on a multi grain bread and just the right amount of mayo. We both agreed, it was the BEST BLT sandwich in the world! (We've traveled the world, we know!) But to top things off they gave him a complimentary, a chocolate lava cake as it was hubby's birthday. Thank you!

I wanted to enjoy Louie's, I really did. I went to college in Ashland and never had the chance to…read moreeat there, so on a trip back after not being in town for almost 12 years my wife and I decided to get Louie's for dinner. Inside the restaurant was pretty with almost a speakeasy vibe, but fairly empty. The bartender and the host at the door were very friendly and the host helped me order exactly what I needed for my dietary restrictions. I'm trying to give them a little grace as we did take this to go, but I was there when the order finished so the food was not waiting for me and my hotel was less than 5 minutes away so the food did not wait long. I also opened up the to go containers in the car to let any steam out so the burger and fries did not get soggy. For a place with such good reviews the food seemed like nothing more than basic diner food. The regular burger was bland, with floppy lettuce and a boring tomato. The black bean vegan burger is exactly why people hate plant based patties. It was overcooked, the edges were literally black, and it was drier than cardboard. I couldn't even finish it. Both the fries and onion rings were decently crispy but were oily like they were cooked in low temp frier oil. Again, I could get better at any diner along the freeway. The staff saved the day really, they were so nice I couldn't give this a 2 star. But, I'm not sure I'll give them another chance with such other great options available on the plaza.
