    Burrata amazingness

My husband and I celebrated our 29th anniversary here at the rooftop restaurant--perfection!!! The setting is breathtaking. You feel like you're dining on the edge of the world. Although it's across the street from the ocean, because it's 3 stories up, all you see is ocean. Being there at sunset is a dream! No ceilings, no walls. Just you and the view. Do you know how you can tell when it's a good place to work--when the staff all seems happy and in a good mood! Cam was a wonderful server and Ryan made fantastic cocktails (and I'm not easy, preferring non-Hawaii cocktails). The burrata appetizer and the crab corn fritters still make my mouth water! Perfect flavor, texture and balance. We then shared the monchong fish, which is a local fish. Unfortunately, it was over cooked, but given the perfection of the other dishes, we assumed it was unusual. There was a sunset ceremony and then live music at 7:30, which was lovely! This restaurant is a MUST! It's the whole package. Come to Fleetwoods if you're in Maui. You won't regret it.

First off, my amazing server deserves an award because I had a horrible bout of nausea hit me and she not only brought me an anti-acid but also had the bartender make me a concoction to help with the nausea. How wonderful is that?! We were celebrating my parent's 50th anniversary (which I noted in the reservation) and they received complimentary virgin drinks when they were first seated. Dinner comes with warm breads and butter which were yummy (I was able to eat it at the end). Atmosphere is classy and relaxing. We didn't get to enjoy the live music too much as the seating was too early for music and you can't stay too long. Parking is on the street or in a nearby pay lot. The restaurant is upstairs. You can eat inside or outside. Check the weather if you make reservations for the rooftop deck!

Not too pleased with our Father's Day Dinner at Fleetwood. Even though we called a few weeks before and asked to get a table "upstairs," they couldn't accommodate. We sat downstairs in a corner area, where not much was happening. There was even a spider web with a spider that was right above me. The food was all served hot and tasted good. There was a huge delay between the apps and the main courses. It was probably about 25 minutes after we finished the appetizers that the main course came. There was no apology, and it wasn't really addressed. The server could clearly see that we were getting a bit impatient. Our kids were also served their meals with the apps, which normally would be good. However, when the kids are done with their food, and we are waiting 25 minutes for the main to come, it become a bit unruly. In general, the kids are well behaved in restaurants, so it was nothing bad. For a place such as Fleetwood's, and for the prices they charge, I expect better. I expect near perfection and unfortunately this was not close. For the price, I would not return here. There are lots of great restaurants in Maui, and if Fleetwood's wants to be in that group, they need to button up on the service, or find a way to rectify the situation if people are waiting an unusual long time. I know the restaurant business is tough, but with perfection comes high scores. Fleetwood's fell short.....

Fleetwood's is the spot to go in Lahaina! If you love live music, beautiful views, great service and tasty food- make a reservation at Fleetwood's on Front Street. It is located across the street for the harbor and has beautiful views. We always make a reservation for the rooftop so we can enjoy the fresh air and watch the sunset. They have happy hour from 3-5. Live music in the afternoon and at night. It's just a great spot!

Wow. A great place to get drinks and food. Menu is small but what they offer they do well. Let me start with the lobster salmon tacos. So good. One of the best things I've eaten on the road in the USA. Tons of lobster, guacamole with a tangy mango salsa. I had 4. The seafood was solid with oysters, shrimp, mussels and clams. Everything was solid. Service was excellent with Kam being prompt and Phillip the mixologist. Highly recommend.

If you love oysters and a beautiful view, then I would suggest going to Fleetwood's. For those who don't have a reservation, there is open bar seating in the regular dining area, as well as the rooftop (which I recommend). Right as they open at 3pm, it is happy hour until 5pm, so oysters are $2 each (minimum of 6) and there are a lot of other great options on the menu. I got the lobster and shrimp roll with fries (upgraded to truffle)! The oysters were honestly so delicious and some were sweet, while others were a bit briny. There was no selection of oysters, for happy hour at least, so I'm not sure exactly what type of oysters/where they were from, but I would assume local. I got white balsamic and garlic on the side, which paired well with the oysters and a squeeze of lemon. The lobster and shrimp roll was bursting with flavor, but I do wish the roll itself was a little more toasted and possibly seasoned with butter and parsley (and garlic). There was a side of melted butter though. The drinks were pretty good -- I liked the kokomo! It was on the sweeter side, but you could still taste the alcohol. My friend is a huge fan of old fashions, and the bartender(s) were very knowledgeable when it came to different whiskey (from "sweeter" to more of a smokey flavor). My friends and I were patiently waiting for Fleetwood's to open, and there was A LOT of other people also waiting shortly after. It's safe to say this is a popular spot, and for good reason. The workers were also very friendly! I definitely want to find my way back here the next time I visit Maui.

Fun restaurant to have dinner while watching a live band on Sunday night. Make reservations! This place has great service. And while it's hectic with the drunks and loud music, the servers were all very friendly and patient. The fleetwood burger is very tasty too! The stuffed prawns...eh. pretty dry and bland. Free dessert choice if it's you're birthday on the reservation which was an awesome surprise! Would definitely come back here!

We loved this place. We dined here on our Maui vacation, on our first night. It was our first time here and we were impressed. Impressed with the ambience, location, service and food. We sat on the deck near the live music. Food: Delicious. We tried several dishes. I got the shrimp cocktail. 4 large shrimps on a small bed of sauce. Not your typical shrimp cocktail. Swordfish, great presentation and very well prepared. Mac and cheese, so so good. Chocolate chip cookies. They were good but not worth the price, in my opinion. I highly recommend this fine establishment. Beautiful setting outdoors with an ocean view. Cheers!

We weren't able to get a dinner reservation, but we did get in for happy hour upstairs on the rooftop. The view over the water was gorgeous. Probably the best happy hour / sunset spot around. The first sip of my spicy margarita was a blossoming of different flavors. This wasn't on happy hour- the menu is a little confusing that way. My husband's "Kokomo" was like sunshine in a glass. Delicious! The shrimp cocktail was definitely the best I've ever had. Such unique cocktail sauce flavor and the grilled lemon was a nice touch. The oysters were tiny and clean, but not good. I would skip those next time. Our server had great timing and had great suggestions. He suggested we could try to get in for dinner by talking to the host stand, but we could only get sat downstairs. We wanted to be upstairs with the live music. We ended up waiting around the bar for seats to open up. The bar is pretty small. There were lots of 4 top tables they could have broken into 2 tops to help with all of the people waiting, but they didn't. Made for a "sharks in the water" situation around the bar. We both got the flat iron steak with chimichurri sauce. It was great! Perfectly cooked and flavored. There is a free parking lot right behind the restaurant. Lots of shops around to make a day or night of the strolling down Front Street. I'll be back!

This place definitely doesn't need my good review to be successful as it is positively hopping - it reminds me of a Cheesecake Factory back in its heyday in terms of the absolute volume of people going through it. Reservations were easy to make - we were on the rooftop deck which had a nice ambience and a view (which we could not see, as it was night, but still had a great environment). The service was fine - kind of seemed like we were at a banquet style sort of situation focused on volume delivery. The focus seemed to be on moving tables through quickly - we actually heard them kicking out one table. I also realized very close to the end of the meal that there was (someone else else's) lipstick on my water glass - eek! For the price point - that just should not have happened - but it happened too late for me to comment. The food was fine. We had oysters as an appetizer - and again - this is a small detail thing, but there were two sauces and one tiny spoon was already dipped in one sauce, making it impossible to have the other sauce without cleaning the spoon. I wouldn't normally even comment on something like this but this was an expensive meal. I had the sword fish which was prepared nicely - my spouse had a salad with shrimp which was mostly greens with about four green beans. We had the Fleetwood Mac and cheese because how can you not.... It was a pretty straightforward baked Mac and cheese that was enjoyable. The drinks were all good and the bartenders were working really hard. We also ordered the chocolate cheesecake which was huge and delicious. Oh, and the music was good. Of course! Overall worth going for the view and saying you went to Mick Fleetwood's restaurant but probably will not be a repeat for us.

    Dreams and Kokomo

We decided to squeeze in a quick happy hour in Lahaina before flying back to Oahu. Fleetwood's came recommended on Yelp, so off we went. There was live music by Paul West in the main bar area where we were seated. We got to enjoy Kokomo and Dreams, two of their happy hour offerings. Kokomo was cool and creamy, and Dreams was light, fruity, and refreshing. Our server was friendly and attentive during our short visit. As we were on a time crunch we did not get to partake in their happy hour food menu. If we get to return to Maui and are in the Lahaina area, I would definitely take others' suggestion of getting seats up on the rooftop to enjoy the sunset.

Somehow my previous review has disappeared- so I'll review again! This is our favorite place on Maui- one of the great date night places in the world. Rooftop seating, shaded until sunset, with a view of the water and Lanai- simply breathtaking. Classic rock playing just loud enough to hear it without being to loud or irritating. Great ambiance. We don't drink- but the drinks we saw coming out were creative and we could hear people gushing about them. The food is soooo good! We started with the crab and corn fritters over a jalapeño aoli. Omg. Think of a round crab cake with corn for some sweetness and a perfect sauce. Amazing. The Ceasar was great- the pork belly lardons steal the show. The soft boiled egg was a great touch. My only minor critique is I would ask for more dressing. Just a little lite for my taste. I had monchong- omg! Such a great flavored fish cooked perfectly. Moist and succulent. Just a perfect dinner. My wife wanted dessert so we got the 4 layer chocolate cake. One of the best desserts and cakes ever. Last time hear we had the Creme Brulee which was stunning as well. Anyway- great food, drink, service, view and ambiance. Favorite nice place in Maui! Great Job!

We came mostly for the MaiTai, known at Fleetwood as the Mai Tyler. The story went like this: I told my friend about Monkey Pod's delicious MaiTai several years ago, and she loved it as well. While she was at Fleetwood she raved about Monkey Pod's signature cocktail to the bartender, whose name was Tyler. He said he could made it for them and she thought his Maitai was even better than Monkey pod's. Years later, we are back in Maui again, and I wanted to give Fleetwood's Mai Tai a try. To my surprise, they officially put the "Mai Tyler" on the menu! We ordered the drink and yes, it's very similar to Monkey Pod's MajTai with the passionfruit foam on top, but the Mai Tyler tasted stronger and more complex. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, the fish of the day (monchong) and the Lahaina burger. All three were very delicious. The Brussels sprouts were infused with bacon and a sweet dressing, which made them addicting and delicious. The monchong filet was tender and flavorful, and it sat on top of sautéed root vegetables. The burger was soft and juicy, and was delightful to eat. The only regret we had was not able to join the happy hour fun on the roof top. The view was amazing and the live music was great. We later found out you have to make reservations a month (or more) ahead of time to enjoy the view, so we might try that next time.

We didn't have reservations and upon arriving at the host stand, the female hostess was snobby and did not want to help us and instead, the male host sat us down at a communal table with ottermans for seats. We didn't feel like crouching down to eat so I went back to ask if we could sit at the bar. We moved to the bar and ordered from the bartender; I got the lobster roll and my husband ordered the poke nachos. We realized there was a musician playing and wanted to move closer to the music. So I decided to go back to the host stand and ask if we could get on the list for a table close to the musician. The female host proceeded to snob me WHILE she drinks from her hydroflask. The male host stated to me that since we ordered our food already, we are not allowed to sit on a table since those tables have servers too. He also had an attitude. I asked very nicely and felt that they thought I was interrupting their deep conversations. The male host reluctantly stated that the tables open up after 9:30pm. Management really needs to school these two on how to talk to guests with more respect. This was on 11/14/25, approx. 8pm. As local kama'aina, we expected more but those two failed miserably. After we finished eating our food, we closed out our tab and moved by the musician. Needless to say, we were nicely greeted by a waitress who asked if she can get us anything. This place could be so much more but our experience with the front of the house was enough for us to not return during our trip. On the flip side, the lobster roll was really good whereas the poke nachos was okay. There's so much more dining options within the Westin's vicinity with great service AND food, like Leilani's Beach Bar (at Leilani's on The Beach) so we would not recommend this place BUT if you want a good lobster roll, this is the place to have it.
