    Pork belly and shrimp combo
    Danyel M.

First off the portion is HUGE! Very worth the price. The pork belly had a nice crispy skin and tender meat. The garlic shrimp had good flavor but was a little too salty for me. I recommend the guavarita! The waitress was very nice, and the place has a good casual, sports bar/live music vibe.

Casey was our server!! She was very friendly and attentive! She was also tending to the bar! Probably about 20 people in total. Ambiance is very bar, welcoming and comfortable!!! It appears they have live music on the weekends; we were here on a Thursday. As for the food!!!! I ordered the steak and shrimp! Can I just say it was amazing! Hot, flavorful, and just all around so, so good!! My wife ordered the shrimp tacos and she said they were tops! Hot and delish! We'll be back!

Food amazing, service amazing, ambiance amazing. Great place to hang out! Very happy I stopped to check this place out!!!

Uh THIS place is excellent!!! They had guava in all their drinks which is incredible and fitting!!! We came here to see Eli Mac perform, unfortunately they could have used a sound person to fix the sounds, but it was fun! They had an excellent plethora of different food there, but it was great and not overly priced..... When we went in, it def felt like a local hangout spot.... there was only one white dude in the place and he was with us LOL!!! So we had some deep fried ahi, roasted port, forgot the name of the fried fish but that was good... we had some ginger tofu and the drinks!!! Lots of sugar, but one is ok!! If you're in the area, you should def stop by for some great hospitality and some awesome food!!!

Best spot for local music and local music!!!! I had so much fun dancing and enjoying the vibes. The AC is cranking strong too!!

Stopped here day we landed on Maui because it was open late and had good reviews. First things first, it's in the same parking lot as the gas station, it's a little sign and you might miss it is you're not paying attention. Second thing, they have a full bar so they have something for everyone. The vibe is laidback and chill. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and they were all super friendly. We ordered the mochiko chicken and fried rice to go. It was ala carte so that worked out perfectly. The food was ono and we were not let down with this place! Definitely will be back for drinks soon!

I am back at Guava Tree these guys are very nice and friendly. And when people are nice and give me service then I'll be back, plus I don't drink any kind of liquor but I can eat. And if they don't mind me not buying drinks then they'll see me coming back for food and I'll post good stuff about them. I wasn't lazy to cook, I was ono for good grinds. Good and ono supersedes not being lazy. Good tasting local foods. So far, we've tried the Shrimp Scampi, Crispy Pork, Stuffed Shrimp special, Calamari, Chicken Katsu, Mochiko Chicken, and the Rib Eye. All great. The only thing I don't recommend is the take out container. It's not my favorite. This cardboard is good cause it is very bio degradable but, if you have gravy or some kind of moist food it will absorb all the goodness. I did notice they use foil to prevent that which is okay for me. Please support local business, no matter were you are. If they appreciate your business, they deserve more business.

    Promo for the show.

This is the spot to hit for good food, tasty drinks, great vibes, and local music. COVID protocols strictly followed. When I went it was assigned seating (and was maxed out at 50% capacity so make sure you get a reservation) and you couldn't stand and dance - dancing in your chair is ok. Come here for good times.

Lots of seating, good for groups. You order then sit (I believe) as thats what most people were doing. They bring you your food (think pancake & Waffles) when it's ready and you grab your own condiments. I ordered The Bento because I couldn't make up my mind. It included rice, mac salad,1 slice spam, Mochiko Chicken, BBQ Beef, and 2 large pieces of Shrimp Katsu. Mochiko Chicken is light and crispy and the Shrimp Katsu was battered and huge. The BBQ Beef was succulent and juicy however the sauce wasn't overwhelming. Spam is spam. The rice was a tad dry however the mac salad was good. I did not eat any of the other plates however since all were empty, Im assuming it was Ono. Next to the register there is a display case with various desserts. The next day going home, we stopped by to grab some dessert. The Lava Rocks come in a pair at $5.50. Moist, soft and super chocolaty. The chocolate haupia bar was very nice and not overly sweet. The Chantilly brownie was very chocolaty with a hint of Chantilly and nuts only on top. Both bars were a Shareable size. Overall the staff is very helpful and friendly, the restaurant itself, very bright & open and the food was very Ono! Highly recommend.

It's definitely more of a convenient store than a restaurant. Everything is to-go only, there is definitely no seating available. Also, if you thought you wanted to eat in your car, don't plan on it, as there is a very explicit sign that says no eating, parking for 5 minutes only. Despite all these particular eating criteria, I enjoyed trying the various pokes! They have at least 10 different to choose from, that it was difficult choosing just two for my husband and I to try. I believe I got the Hawaiian Style, and also the Shoyu style. I liked the Shoyu one a bit better, for more sauciness and soy sauce added to the ahi. I also really liked how this place includes rice (huge win for eating right away!) and in a separate container! Well thought out!! Also credit cards are accepted. Great poke find quite close to the airport. Would recommend if you're starving coming off your flight, want something fast and easy, that you can enjoy instantly.

I like the new location definitely easier for people to get to as the last location was upstairs with no elevator. On this trip we had the Lunch Special which was the Waygu loco moco that came with white rice and Mac salad and two eggs over easy. The Wagyu burgers were perfect not over seasoned and the eggs were perfectly cooked. Still runny on the inside. I had the mis fish which was an ahi today. I liked the fact that the Miso was not overwhelming they got them mix perfect and the broccoli was perfectly cooked and it came with a scoop of white rice. Everything was perfectly done and just the right amount of food. The price is still reasonable for the quality of the food you are getting and the service was great even though there was only one waitress and she was doing double duty as hostess. She was very pleasant and the service is some of the best I have had on Maui. I like how the new place has a nice local feel while having that new but welcoming aura. I will definitely be going back because I like to support local and these guys are making some great food for reasonable prices. I definitely recommend these guys and I will definitely be going back. We made sure to pay a visit on our first free lunch day! Of course, coming during the lunch rush we had to wait for maybe 20 minutes outside before getting a table for 4. Longest 20 minutes of my life LOL! Paid off though when we finally got seated! Ordered the usual suspects: -Dry Noodles (Dry Mein) ($18.95) - DOUBLE sized for 2! Or one Hungry Hawaiian HA! -Cheeseburger Deluxe ($5.95) -French Fries with Mustard/Mayo ($5.95) -BBQ Stick (Beef and Chicken) ($3.75 each) -Manju ($1.25 each) -Turnovers ($1.85 each) I was so hungry I forgot pics of half my order! Just as awesome as I remember - just needed a dash of the soup, splash of shoyu, dab of Tabasco, and a lot of cracked black pepper! Ugh, so ONO! The Cheeseburger Deluxe and French Fries were honestly not gourmet, but the nostalgia factor brings it up a notch for me. Don't forget to dip into their Mustard/Mayo mix, it's a game changer! The BBQ Sticks were a little overdone this time but I'll let it slide because I do love that char on the edges.
