We've been to this Flanagan's location many times in the past and have enjoyed delicious food & great service! Unfortunately today's server Gwendoline needs to find another line of work. SHE SHOULD NOT BE A SERVER OR HAVE ANY INTERACTION WITH THE PUBLIC. Our party of 6 received the absolute worst service we have ever received in our lives. Gwen was so rude, snippy & slow we were in shock! We will definitely dine at Flanagan's again however if we are seated in Gwen's section we will politely ask to sit in a different section. read more

I've been going here for 27 years. I will continue to go back but I am going to explore other locations even though this is the closest one to me. Every single time I have been here over the last year, the service has been so bad that I have either walked out after not being greeted by a server for over 10 minutes or I have had to physically go find my server with 20-30 gaps in time of them not checking to see if I need another drink. It does not matter if it's busy or if it's dead but this happens to me every single time I come here. I'm fed up. I was here for 2.5 hours the other night bc it took that long to get 3 beers. I should have been served the 3 beers within 30 minutes at a normal paced restaurant where the staff is actually attentive to their tables and section. It doesn't matter what time of day it is either I have tried everything and I am at my wits end. I had to ask for my server 3 times and I was extra patient as I was sitting with an empty glass for literally 20-30 mins between each beer. The bar was full or I would have sat there I am a party of 1 and I believe this is why I am being treated so poorly and overlooked constantly every time I step foot in this establishment. read more

Three of us are on vacation from California. This place was recommended by some of the locals and you can tell why. a 10 ounce ribeye steak that was absolutely delicious. It was $21. Flanigan's is a family favorite. We came around 7 on the Friday of Christmas weekend and was told a 40 min wait because they were crazy busy. But we managed to snag 4 seats at the bar instead! The bartenders, Jobo and Fred, were so friendly and attentive -- Fred even put my mini Prosecco bottle in a DIY wine chiller to keep it cold! My mom and I split the ribs as we always do and are never disappointed. Their barbecue sauce is PERFECT and the sweet potato fries (without the cinnamon sugar) are incredibly delicious. Other favorites are the blackened chicken philly and chicken wings. We absolutely love Flanigan's, so I highly highly recommend coming to check this place out!! read more

I see that the reviews lately are skewered toward the low-end indicative of the establishment and the chains slide downhill. However, I was visiting a friend who lives in The Harbors neighborhood basically across the street, it was a Sunday and I needed to get to a bar to watch the Jets Pats game, so I ventured in anyways. How bad could it be. Was 12:30 and not busy only a couple of people at the bar where I sat. Looking at the beer menu I see it was typical chain menu with no craft beer except for one local IPA from Barrel of Monkeys in Boca. I chose a Sam Adams lager and drank most of it but just didn't taste right. I never drink them anymore anyways so figured it's me. Guy next to me ordered a Philly steak and indeed it looked good so that's what I got. Lots of side options and I selected sweet potato fries with cinnamon and sugar. The steak was pretty tasteless but edible with ketchup, the fries were flat out cold even at 1 pm. Not being a dick and my hunger basically satisfied I didn't complain. Few guys came in and asked me if I would move over and offered a beer bribe, but of course I said. Tried the IPA in a bottle as draft was out. It rates 3.7 on Beer Advisor so as expected it sucked. Asked for bill at halftime as the place was dead and I was done with it. 26 Degree Brewery right next door where I know I would find a good beer. The bill came and the bartender who witnessed the request did not honor the beer the guy bought me. Had to complain, he mumbled but did take it off the bill. While the waitress started off brash, she came around after we were friendly with her. Great bar food, tender baby backs, and a decent prime rib for only $21! This place reminds me of Bennigans back in the day. Great fun spot with options for everyone. My husband and i went to this location to try it out, we usually go to Deerfield beach but decided on a change. he had the ribs which were excellent, very juicy I ate 2 of them. I ordered the wings. I love Flannigans wings, they are so big and juicy. Great happy hour deal with 10 free wings when you buy a pitcher of beer. Nice comfortable booth. Decent noise level. Their homemade coleslaw is fantastic and I loved the New England clam chowder. My wife loves the half rack of ribs. Go before 5pm or you'll have to wait for a table. read more

Told us her favorites on the menu, helped us navigate the menu (as it is pretty big, lots of options ;) ). Recommended the rib rolls to start and of course we had to get the ribs! Flanigan's is a staple chain for SoFlo and some locations, like this one, the service is better than others. Our waitress was quite attentive, even though the restaurant was super busy. She promptly refilled drinks and brought extra napkins and lemons without being asked to (anticipating guests needs is always appreciated). The only reason why I'm giving this place 4 stars is because the ribs came out room temperature and the fries were ice cold. It was delicious when it was reheated at home. The adjacent liquor store staff were very friendly and helpful. The pricing on their adult bevy's is on par with most in the area. So good we ate there two nights in a row while on vacation. The full rack of ribs special with a side, Caesar salad, rolls and a soda was more than enough for two people. We were looking for something good to eat after my husband finished his OW diving certification. This was our first visit to Pompano Beach and we didn't know the area. Having been on the water, we were both very hungry and didn't have a lot of patience for trying to find restaurants close and navigate to them. When we saw Flannigan's, we impulsively decided this was it. Boy, did we get lucky. It was causal, which worked with our attire and the food was great. My husband ordered a full rack of their award winning baby back ribs and didn't come up for air until they were decimated. I ordered the chicken stickers and did my best but didn't come close to finishing them. It was a very large portion and the baked potato and slaw were too good to skip. We've been to a number of other Flanigan's over the years, but this is the first time we've ever eaten at this location -- or rather had food from here. We were looking for a new place to support during #yelosbignightin takeout/delivery tonight, April 11, 2020. Browsing through my yelp app, I came across one of the few nearby places we hadn't tried. It was seamless to order over the phone. They gave us an order number. Pulled into the parking lot on the east side of the building. They have a tent set up in the parking lot. You remain in your car. They checked our order number and delivered the food right to our car. They also bring your credit card paperwork to the car as well. All staff are wearing masks and gloves. When we got home, we found the order exactly as we'd placed it. We got a full rack of ribs dinner with a baked potato (we requested the butter and sour cream on the side); we added on a dinner size Caesar salad -- dressing on the side. And a separate order of rice and black beans, too. All entrees come with coleslaw if you want it, as well. The ribs were fall off the bone finger licking good delicious. The baked potato still steamy hot. And the salad was fresh and crispy with bits of bacon and shredded cheese. We shared everything and left the cole slaw and the rice for a future meal. Flanigan's are pretty consistent -- especially their ribs -- and this location did not disappoint. I'd definitely order from here again... and probably get the exact meal. We've been doing a lot of takeout, and you can't go wrong with Flanigans! This location is right next to a Big Daddy's and they have a walk up window, so you can get your liquor during Covid. I'm vegetarian, so I always order their salads which are huge! I usually get a side baked potato and onion straws. They always have a daily special and great deals. 4/11/20 Yelp's Big Night In Our pick up order from our local Pompano Beach FLANNIGANS was a great meal and experience! We placed our order on the mobile car phone as we were en route. The pleasant associate who took our order repeated each item back to us, gave us a pick up number and thanked us for ordering. We arrived at Flannigan's about 15 minutes after placing our order and parked in front. A server approached our car with mask and gloves and we gave her our pick up number. She radioed it inside and 2 minutes later our food order arrived. Another minute later our credit card payment was completed and we were on our way back home, drooling from the wonderful smell of Flannigan's signature Baby Back Ribs.
