For how beautiful this beach club and resort is, I was hoping the food and service would be exceptional. We arrived promptly at 12 pm for a reservation, and it took them about 15 minutes to set up our tables. Our waiter took our order about 20 minutes later, and we sat waiting for our food for about an hour. Despite the restaurant not being full, we were informed the kitchen was backed up. I ordered the pear and Gorgonzola salad with chicken. It was a very small portion and $25. Some of the chicken was pink and there were random pieces of Parmesan cheese in the salad, which was not supposed to be in the salad. My friend ordered a burger with cheese only. We did ask if they had a gluten free bun, and our server seemed to have no knowledge about what she was asking. Thankfully, her burger was brought to the table without the bun, however, it had lettuce and onions despite asking for the burger and cheese only. My friend's husband also asked for extra dressing, which we never received. Our waiter refilled our glasses a few times throughout our meal. We did stay about an extra two hours before cashing out, and at about the 1.5-2 hour mark, we no longer received service. If it wasn't so beautiful, this would've been a 2-star review. It's really more about the beach experience than it is the food.

This was ok. There is valet only parking although I was told later that you could try to self park but there are very few spots. The pool was right there behind you, and there were dunes in front so it wasn't exactly a great atmosphere. The salad was good but the salmon wasn't the best with some of the skin left on. We sat ourselves and would have had more to drink but the servers weren't coming around very often. It took us awhile to get the check and then to pay. I don't recommend for a business lunch or to come if you aren't staying at the hotel. If you are a guest on vacation, it's a perfect laid back atmosphere.

MIKEY was so great at his job. We had an unexpected meet up and he was professional and thorough with his attention and our drinks and food were brought out immediately. He worked the complete bar with the best service and he never lost his patience. He smiled throughout the unexpected crowd and fun was had by all. Thank you MIKEY for an eventful evening. First off, and to be noted what a gorgeous setting this place offers. I came to meet with an English group for my first visit. We were set as a large group under the massive and impressive tiki hut, adjacent to the beach. The views are gorgeous. The server was friendly and efficient. The poor chap did all our charges separately, efficiently and with a smile. I told him so! I tried their lumberjack breakfast. It was pleasant, and as expected. I also sampled their cappuchino coffee.

This casual restaurant located at the Beachcomber Hotel in Pompano Beach offers classic American cuisine. The Atlantic Ocean views are spectacular. Happy hour is Monday to Friday 3-6pm. I had a margarita $8 and we shared the Guacamole and chips $10. After 5pm about once a week they offer Oysters on a half shell for $1 a piece. Fresh, delicious and a bargain. Service is very friendly and efficient.

Can't beat the location and the service. Even rained quite a bit and we were perfectly protected still enjoying the surf and the sand. The food was also enjoyable.

Not your typical beach front tiki bar menu. Everything is good. They have fresh fish, NY strip steak, sandwiches, etc., but the star of the show is the tomahawk pork chop. Looks like something Fred Flintstone would order. Order an appetizer or salad and split the chop. Our server was very personable. It took a little while to get our food but you are on the beach and they had music.

Breakfast on the beach with an incredible view... sign me up!! We stopped here on our trip one morning and boy were we glad we did! The kids played on the hammocks and in the sand, while we enjoyed a morning cocktail (pictured below). Our servers moved at a paced that matched our urgency (which in the moment was slow, lol) and it was a perfect morning. I got the corned beef hash, my wife got eggs and potatoes, and the kids got the custard French toast... holy smokes, that French toast was amazing! Highly recommend Deep Oceanfront to anyone nearby!

Enjoyed lunch overlooking the beach on an overcast yet pleasant day. Matt our server was awesome; he made great recommendations and the experience a pleasure. Looking forward to doing happy hour later

Today's luncheon with my ladies group. We were very impressed with our server- Britney. She took care of the table I was seated at. We had 2 tables. Britney made sure we had everything we needed. Unfortunately. The calamari was dry & overcooked & my oysters with bacon & parmigiana was very dry. I did enjoy the Greek salad with wild salmon- so good- I had to take home. We were very lucky with a beautiful ocean breeze & gorgeous weather today on the beach. The sad take away from this was that management will no longer honor our group with separate checks. We know that it's not an easy request, however- this was our 3rd year here. We hope that they will change their mind & hopefully will be able to enjoy the view as well as the delicious food. We are a local Pompano Beach Group that loves to support local businesses. Thank you for your hospitality!!!

We only tried the guacamole and salsa at the bar area and the drinks . Guacamole was really good , salsa was just ok. Drinks too were alittle disappointing they tasted watered down. The vibe is nice though but they def need to do better.

We came here about 6 years ago and loved it but never left a review for some reason! I remembered walking down the beach from where we were staying and stumbling onto this place back then and decided to try it again last night. It was better than I remembered! With an outdoor fire pit and open air cocktail bar area, live music, and choice of seating either under the tiki hut or in the sand - all with unobstructed ocean views it's hard to find a bad seat here! Pros: 1) Service - on point, prompt, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Our waiter made great recommendations about the fresh fish and dessert choices. 2) menu selections - nice mix of choices, including apps, salads, fish, seafood, pork, beef, etc. something for everyone. Plus very easy to read and understand each item on the menu (unlike the overpriced Miami restaurant scene). Thoughtful variety of wine and cocktail selections - not overwhelming but certainly more than sufficient. 3) prices - extremely reasonable considering the location and ambience right on the beach! Our meal was under $200 for 2 people including a nice $89 bottle of Pinot noir! 4) food - we ordered the fresh catch of the day and it was cooked perfectly with butter, lemon and capers, butterflied whole. Also had the calamari which was perfect! And for dessert we had the key lime pie recommended by our server which had a thin layer of perfectly toasted merengue and was not overly sweet. It was the perfect size for us to split - not too huge, and just big enough to fill the sweet spot we had at the end of our meal. 5) quiet ambience - we could hear the ocean waves between music sets! We wandered over to the fire pit after our meal and talked to some nice people before heading back to our nearby hotel. Cons: I can't think of any! We will be back!

Can you accommodate 20 people, separate checks on a Monday at noon?

Yes. We are a strictly Walk-in Restaurant. Any parties bigger than 14, will be considered an event. Big parties will be sat as a Walk-in just like every other party.

    When is breakfast served?

Breakfast is server from: 8Am-11Am Monday trough Saturday and 8Am - 12Pm on Sundays

Is the restaurant open to the public?

Yes. It's open to the public. You have to walk through the main lobby of the resort and then the inside portion is off to the right and the outside area is straight out the back and beyond the pool. We walked over there from a nearby timeshare…

    Is there parking?

Hello! Yes we have parking available for free across the street from the hotel in our overflow lot.…

Is the beach and cabanas only available to the resort guests?

They are rentals....as we were walking on the beach they were offered to us

Hmmmmm.... have been wanting to check this place out for a while..... maybe soon??? is the food really that good?

The food is good but the location is perfect!! A moonrise dinner followed by a little time in a hammock while listening to the musician is the perfect evening.

Very disappointing experience…read more We arrived for lunch with a group of 8 people and, from the moment we walked in, the hostess made us feel like she was doing us a favor by seating us. She repeatedly told us she was "making an exception" for our party. Then she lectured us about having to sit at two separate tables with two separate checks. What really crossed the line was when she said, "If I see you passing food between tables, we'll stop serving you." That comment was unnecessary, disrespectful, and completely inappropriate. We were paying customers, not asking for free food or special treatment. There's a time and place to explain restaurant policies, but the way they were communicated made us feel unwelcome before we had even ordered. Hospitality is about making guests feel valued, and unfortunately, that was completely missing here. We chose to leave rather than spend our money somewhere we clearly didn't feel wanted. There are plenty of restaurants that appreciate their customers, and we'll be supporting those instead.

Our waitress was pleasant, attentive, and made us feel right at home, which always enhances the dining experience. Although we weren't extremely hungry, the menu had so many appealing options that we decided to sample a few items. We started with the Caribbean Tea shots, which were unique, refreshing, and surprisingly enjoyable. For drinks, we ordered a Malbec and a Peanut Butter Old Fashioned. Our first entrée was the Churrasco Frites, featuring marinated skirt steak topped with chimichurri and served with twister fries. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, but those fries were the true star of the dish. Still wanting more, we ordered the Garlic Parmesan Twice Cooked Wings. They were nicely prepared and satisfying, though I would have enjoyed a stronger garlic flavor. Not quite finished, we moved on to the Oaxaca Burger, an 8 ounce burger stacked with onion rings, bacon jam, house BBQ sauce, and Oaxaca cheese. This was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and possibly the best. The bun was toasted yet soft, the burger was seasoned perfectly, and it was cooked to a juicy medium temperature. Every bite was packed with flavor. Overall, everything we ordered was excellent, and the service and atmosphere made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.

Outdoors, there's plenty of table space, a bar, and a stage for live music. It looked like it has been expanded since my first time there. I'm glad to see this restaurant doing well in Old Town Pompano. Our server was very friendly and assisted us with our questions about the menu. As we were there for brunch, we settled on fried green tomatoes Eggs Benedict, steak and eggs, and shrimp and grits. The fresh biscuits sounded so good that we ordered them. We should have asked for them to come out early, so we could enjoy them while we were waiting. However, we took them home and enjoyed them the next day. We also made the mistake of ordering a side of potatoes. That was definitely not necessary because two of the entrées came with potatoes, and we had more than plenty for the table. Again, something we enjoyed the next day. We were all impressed with what we ordered. Everything came out hot and cooked just as we had asked. My shrimp and grits were absolutely delicious. I also thought it was also nice that our server asked if we wanted to take our refilled drinks to go and prepared to go cups for us. This restaurant has been consistent for us, and I definitely plan to be back. Next time, I'd like to check out their live music scene and get a table outside when the weather gets a little cooler.

The place was pretty packed at 5:30 pm.m. with only a couple of open tables. There were a few families and some elderly people and then your typical "salt of the earth" people. Just another day at Briny. The local staff were all present and greeted us with smiles and "Hey- how have you been(s)? They are all very friendly and work well together and know the locals. My son chose the nachos - he is not a big sea food person. They are some very good nachos and I recommend get extra sour cream next time. My husband went with "my" usual order of fish fingers (mahi in a panko breading) and fries. Can never go wrong with this order- solid choice. I went with something I have never had here before- the Mahi Reuben (blackened). I got tator tots with it. Mixing things up! It was very tasty and unique. Something a little different. Then, the guy behind us with his 3 kids (2 in a wagon- haha) and his wife stood up, looked at my husband and said- "Get the fish and chips! It's amazing!" Well, my husband had been pining over that decision because that is his usual order but he was trying something different. However, this was the Briny Pompano family man whispering to go with old faithful. It was fate! It was meant to be. The atmosphere aligned at the corner of Atlantic and A1A. Oh waitress!!! Another order! The fish and chips were amazing. Just like the fatherly Briny whisperer said - Cod in a beer batter. Light and flakey and add that malt vinegar with tarter sauce...yummo!! (IMO- Briny tarter sauce is better than Flannigans). And, don't forget to add the malt vinegar to the ketchup for the fried and extra pepper! A great feast was had by all and we all went home happy and with leftovers. Get down to the Briny for where the magic meets the sea. Get some dinner, listen to live music, get up and dance and breathe that salty air. Live a little and meet some new people! Good times had by all.

Let me start with WOW!…read more I love this place. We saw it as we were driving up and down A1A looking for a place to eat. They have convenient free parking. We sat at the bar and I had Shepherd's Pie and my wife had a grilled chicken sandwich. She said her sandwich was very good. My Shepherd's pie as also tasty. Just be aware that the Shepherd's Pie was covered in brown gravy. That was not what I expected but it was good. The bar tender - Michael - was very attentive, and he told us that most of the staff has been there for years. I can understand that because of the feeling of family and coorporation they all had. The also had live music when we were there which was a nice plus.
