A pretty solid 4 based on just my first experience! Went there for lunch and ordered pad Thai w/ chicken and added shrimp, upcharge (fine with). It was pretty good but nothing out out of this world (is that even possible?). Their food runs hot (heat level wise), word of mouth is that and they tell you that too. So I went with a mild and added pepper flakes to bring it closer to a mild plus/medium. TBH I think I could've gone with a mild plus there (my usual), but I'd rather err on the side of caution. The girl behind the register was friendly and the place was clean too. It's self serve and you bus your own table, but I'm fine with that. It is a Thai restaurant but the owners are Hmong and I don't have enough experience to notice any differences by just ordering one dish. I would definitely go back here to try more dishes!

Delicious food! Their spice is fresh and very hot, order with caution. The flavors are great. Crab Rangoons were some of the best in the area. Service was kind and helpful. They have tables to dine in, but I opted for carry out as they were closing shortly. Can't wait to go back, definitely want to try their pineapple fried rice.

It's only open until 7PM on Sundays. The build your own noodle or rice dish sounds interesting. You order and pay at the counter. They bring out the food to the counter and we bring it to our table. We have to put and bus our own tables after our meal. Ordered BYO: pad Thai curry with chicken and steamed tofu ($3) and veggies (green pepper, red pepper, mushrooms, egg, pineapple, Spanish onions, hot spice, a red curry entree: chicken, steamed tofu, broccoli, red and green pepper, mushrooms, Napa cabbage and Spanish onions mild plus. $42.29. One note though. There was no fresh Thai chilies in either of our dishes tonight, despite their advertisement about ordering your heat level because they use fresh Thai chilies. Isabella is good about repeating your order back to make sure your order is correct. She's quite patient and friendly too. The shrimp crackers are ok, a few hard pieces in it, but mostly decent. The red curry is nicely seasoned, mild plus is medium plus or maybe slightly hotter than mild plus even. Better rice would make eating up the lovely red curry sauce better. The hot pad curry Thai is quite hot, a smoky hot pepper flavor. It has good flavor overall.

I've had many issues with this place since they've opened. The owners are very rude and don't appreciate their diners. During my pregnancy my husband would pick us up carry out from here at least once a week and that continued for a while afterwards too. Their food has become more and more inconsistent in flavors and they're not accommodating at all. They never fix their errors and just have an overall nasty attitude. You couldn't catch me spending my hard earned money here again after all the issues and failed corrections on their end. 90% of the time your food will be bland or super spicy out of no where- their spice levels seem to change with every order. Although close to home I will go out of my way not to dine here

We should have taken the name literally...this Thai was FLAMING HOT! Unfortunate because it hid what tasted like decent flavor potential. Drunken Noodles (Medium+): immediate smokiness when opened, mouth burning on bite. Tears. Pad Thai (Mild): For my wife too hot but I enjoyed it, I'd consider it Mild+ or even Medium. Decent flavor. Fried Rice: Pretty bland but not terrible. Some soy sauce helped. We also ordered a side of chicken. Fairly certain it's boiled and introduced into dishes when ordered. For reference: Any new-to-me Thai restaurants I order Medium or Medium+, commonly ordering hot from spots I know (Thai Taste, Sy Thai, Penn's and others) so this was a stunner. Please send hopes and prayers...tomorrow might be touch and go.

First time here, I chose 2 dishes to try - T5 Gra Pow Moo Krob (spicy crispy pork with basil) and SF8 Pad Prik Khing (chicken with green beans) - both absolutely delicious and so fresh! I also got spring rolls and hot and sour soup, both of which were pretty good. The chef Ta was so nice, she heard I never had Gra Pow Moo Krob and wanted to know what I thought of it. She explained that it's a popular street food in Thailand, people go up to the carts and eat this specific dish. I thought it was such a nice touch that she wanted to check in with me as it was my first time dining there. I told her the Pad Prik Khing she made was the best I'd ever had, while the Gra Pow Moo Krob was definitely going on my list of favorite dishes. Second time here, my fiancé and I got N1 Chicken Pad Thai and T4 Khana Moo Krob (crispy pork with broccoli and kale) - both dishes were refreshing, light, and cooked perfectly. Each came with soup again but we switched out Hot and Sour for the Chicken Tom Yum, which was very good! Honestly, this had to be the best Pad Thai we've had here in Michigan. We gave our compliments to the chef as we finished our meal. The decorations are minimalist and I think the tables come from a Joe's Crab Shack - it's fun to read the blurbs on each one. If you're thinking of stopping by, save me a seat because I hope this restaurant becomes busy but not packed as I need my weekly fix!

Our food is always excellent and I like to try new things all the time. But we still have favorites. Appetizers. It's hard not to order the fried wontons, my spouse's favorite. We both enjoy the apple or papaya salad. And I'm a sucker for tum yum soup, theirs does not disappoint. Entrees we often enjoy traditionals like Pad See Ewe and Fried Rice. They are staples for a reason. But I've enjoyed trying many of Sue's recommendations. And I love a ground chicken dish she recommended served with lettuce cups and a fried egg. I wish I remembered the name. But it's one of her favorites. She will know! Be sure to ask for the Thai pickled lime and hot peppers condiment (upon request). My newest obsession is their Chicken Satay salad. It's fantastic. So fresh and delicious, not to mention gorgeous. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed. I can't tell you about dessert because we are always too full. But I'm determined to try her mango rice because I'm confident it will be amazing . If you have tried this place, it's worth a visit. To start, we got moo krob (deep fried pork belly) which is the Thai version of Chinese siu yook. I have to say, I like siu yook so much more - it's a lot more flavorful having been marinated with five spice and served with delicious sweet hoisin sauce for dipping. The pork here was bland and the sauce (fish sauce based) was pretty one note. For my entree, I got rad na (rice noodles with gravy, Chinese broccoli, carrots, and choice of meat - I got pork) which was one of the best I've ever had! They used fresh rice noodles and sautéed it properly to give it the "wok hei" (wok-seared flavor). The gravy was deep and flavorful and the portion size was very good. If everything else was as good as my entree, I'd give this restaurant 5 stars. Unfortunately, my mom's Kao mun gai (steamed chicken with rice and "special sauce") was awful. She asked if the dish had any spice because she can't do spicy, and the server said no, so she decided she'd try it. The chicken was way overcooked and dry, with no flavor at all. The sauce, the only thing providing flavor and moisture, was spicy so that she couldn't eat it. We asked if there was any sauce she could get instead that wasn't spicy, and they said no, but they can give us a bottle of soy sauce. So my mom used some of that, and also took some of my rad na gravy. But because the chicken was so dry and bland, it was beyond saving. My dad got the Thai basil fried rice, mild spice. It was definitely hotter than other Thai restaurants' mild, and my dad said the spice overwhelmed the other flavors. I tried some of it and it was not bad, but nothing remarkable. They told us that traditionally, it's served with the rice on the side, which was strange to me because then it's not fried rice - it's sautéed meat and veggies with rice on the side. I am curious about how some of the other dishes taste here, but it's a shame that 3/4 of the things we ordered were mediocre to downright bad. While I enjoyed my entree, I felt bad my parents didn't enjoy their food.
