Hospitality was top notch. We were in the area and found this little gem. We were seating immediately the server was super sweet and took the time to explain all the dish to us. Although the menu is very limited everyone can still find something they like. We had the beef bulgogi, mandu and jjanjanmeyon (sorry for the misspelling ) and kimchi and radish. Food was soooo good. I can't wait to go back and try other things. It's a very casual little place to sit down with friend and family. Ps try the strawberry milk they offer and thank me later

Their jjajangmyun and rose jjamppong were a bit greasy but pretty tasty. Tasted similar to what you'd get in Korea. Good portion size and great service as well.

Stopped in to check the place out. Thankfully found a parking spot, but I can see this being a major issue. It's your standard full service sit-down restaurant. It wasn't busy when I walked in and I got to sit anywhere I wanted. I had been studying their menu for a while, so I went with the following: - Jjampong - Youringi Jjampong was disappointing. The noodles were overcooked and mushy. For spicy seafood noodles, only saw few shrimps and squids, five mussels, of which one was dead (wasn't open). The broth was ok, didn't get that "refreshing" taste from the broth. Definitely not on my list to try it again. This dish was 1 out of 5 for me. Youringi - for $25, you can order it once and try it, but can't justify ordering this often. This dish is to share, for around 2 to 3 people. If you come in with a large crowd, definitely worth ordering to share. The soy based sauce wasn't too sweet or sour and the chili's weren't spicy. It went very well with the chicken and the lettuce it came with. They do not serve banchans with your order, the only two items I got was salad (those you get at a sushi joint) and yellow radish. Overall, walked away disappointed with their noodle dish. With "noodles" in their name, I would have hoped it would have blown me away, but it did not.

Tried Seoul Myeon for the first time tonight... was surprised how limited their menu was. I ordered the jjamppong and my husband ordered the soba noodles. I liked my dish, it was spicy... too many onions and carrots though. On the other hand, my husband was still hungry and did not have any protein in his soba - he was just given a side of wasabi. With the prices, we thought they should have also included some side dishes. They also handed us our check when we were only halfway done eating. This restaurant has so much potential but I don't know if we will be back any time soon.

Went here a few weeks ago to check out this new Korean restaurant in the area. They don't have the full menu up right now but the options they did have were pretty good. In the soft opening menu we got the Fried rice, spicy seafood Jjampong, and dumplings. My Jjampong was pretty good and lots of flavor first time trying it so not sure if it's all like this but they definitely overloaded it with onions which was overwhelming I had to take slices of onions out, it was like 2 onions worth per bowl . But overall flavor was really good.

Shrimp fried rice: looks appealing but tasteless

This restaurant was hit and miss. Hit: clean & bright inside, fairly good service (wasn't busy, after lunch). The Jjampong was good, lots of flavored broth, not too spicy because we asked for medium, lots of onions though, one mussel didn't open. Large portion. Miss: there were six of us & waitress gave us only two menus, what gives? The shrimp fried rice looked very appealing but was tasteless, absolutely no seasoning, would have complained but did not want to embarrass our friends who brought us here. On the other hand the miso soup that came with the meal was way too salty. Many people have given this restaurant good reviews & lots of stars, but I was not really impressed.

Tried carryout for our family one night and Seoul Myeon became our new favorite! We were all very happy with all the food we ordered. They have all our Korean favorites, but Japanese options as well. You can dine in or carryout. We ordered Katsu curry, bulgogi, black bean noodles and more! Everything was delicious!

Got the beef with rice on their soft opening menu. Beef was tender. Sauce flavorful. Yolk was raw which was ok. Dish came out fast which makes me think it wasn't made on the spot. This was not one of the dishes that was recommended however we gave it a try and it didn't disappoint. Service: there were several servers and only two tables. Servers were chatting audibly amongst each other. Given the staff ratio Service was not amazing. Did not come check on us after food arrived but did come to give us the check at the end in a hurried fashion. Environment: overall, clean. However I could hear someone chopping meat in the kitchen for the duration of our dining experience. Loud. Very unpleasant.

It was a pretty clean restaurant. The waiter was kind and helpful. The food could have been better. The fried pork was good but the Jajangmyeon was okay. It tasted lukewarm.

Seoul Myun is a new restaurant in the area with a soft opening menu available currently. There was a decent amount of seating inside with a sleek, clean interior design. If you look at the pictures available for this restaurant, you'll notice that a majority of it is Jjamppong. That is for a reason! Upon our arrival, we were strongly recommend either their jjamppong or jjajangmyeon as their most popular dishes. I was not disappointed, possibly the best in the area. Very flavorful and they were very generous with the vegetables and seafood. Service was wonderful and accommodating. I do plan to visit again to try other menu items as I am sure they are just as good.

Tried their fried pork with curry and beef bibimbap. Both dishes are delicious. My toddler loved the fried pork. Pork is well fried. Not too greasy or salty. Bibimbap also excellent. Ingredients tasted fresh and well flavored. Served on a hot plate. Service and ambiance very good. Would return again to try their full for sure

Finally a good place to grab a bowl of jjajangmyeon near me! Super tasty. Love it with the tangsuyuk. The tteokbokki was soupy and delicious!

Most authentic Korean food in town. Amazing hospitality and service. Nice vibe. Very hard working team, and it shows in the food.

The service isn't bad, but I think the expectation is that you will let them know if you need something. They don't keep an eye on your water or drinks, but they were quick to fill them once we flagged them down. We tried some of our personal favorites and new things. They had a corn tea, which I never tried before. The flavor is hard to describe and a bit outside my preferences. It has a strong earthy corn taste. It was hot and came in a big pot. The banchan were awesome. I loved their kimchi, cucumbers, and fish cakes the most. They also had a seaweed salad and bean sprouts. We have tried sundubu jjigae with pork, kimchi fried rice, fried dumplings, japchae, and pajeon. I wouldn't get the sundubu again. There was something strongly overpowering the soup that was too intense for me and kind of bitter. Ive ordered this soup before at other locations, so I was surprised that it didn't suit my palate. The pajeon was huge. I prefer them thin, and this one was crazy thick. It was also overpowered with garlic, and I don't think those words have ever come out of my mouth before. What I would order again---japchae, kimchi fried rice, and dumplings! I love that they have so many options, and I had fun trying new things.

Service is a bit more hands-off, but I personally prefer that so it was a good experience in my book! One thing I must say is that I felt the menu was a bit limited. A lot of the menu consists of soup, which obviously isn't a bad thing (I personally LOVE soup), but my partner felt a bit of disinterest as he's not too keen on it. We opted for bbq and a shared entree (I can't recall the name, but it had pork belly and squid) instead. Both were tasty! The bbq also came with sides and two bowls of rice.

We got barley tea, which was complimentary. The service was below average. It was busy but our server never came back once to check on us. Imagine my surprise when I saw they were reopening a short bit later, but in Troy! This review is long overdue. The Loco Moco is my favorite by far; the gravy is incredibly savory, the burger patties are well seasoned, and the egg yolks are perfectly runny. Served on top of rice + with some perfectly made Mac Salad (not "pasta salad"), every bite is so good!! I also really enjoy the Meat Jun special that they have every once in awhile and the Pork specials they had for a bit were quite good as well. In their previous space in Lansing, they had a bigger space with more tables and the eat in service was handled very well. In Troy, I read that they specifically picked a smaller space to largely do take out/pick up only due to personal circumstance. They have always been personable when I pick up, which is incredibly often; thankfully, they also always seem pretty busy, which is good, I need them to keep making delicious food for a long time. :)
