Get transported back to South Korea with a visit to Noori Pocha! This place is a must visit for us every time we visit family in Detroit. It gets pretty packed since the hours are odd and you have to put your name on a waitlist, but it is very much worth it. Portion sizes are huge - our favorites are the fried chicken, jokbal (get it spicy), and rosé tteokbokki. Service is always good, even if they are short staffed for the night. They are always playing the best k-pop music to top everything else off!

Recently visited Noori Chicken again and had a great time! The tteokbokki they gave us when we arrived was so good that I decided to switch it up and try the Rosé Tteokbokki, and it was so delicious! It was great with our somek and so flavorful! When I come back, I'll definitely try it again!

Super cool ambiance and yummy chicken! We had the supreme and garlic soy sauces with our boneless wings and it was delicious!

Worth the drive and the wait. Wow! This place is amazing. From the unique decor -- see pictures -- to the super tasty Korean food, this is a fun, hole-in-the-wall spot that I highly recommend. Don't expect to get seated right away. You scan a code to get on the list. It was 30-40 min wait in the 5 o'clock hour on Labor Day weekend, and when we left at 7-ish, it was 90 minutes. So come prepared to walk around Clawson while you wait for a table. That said, when we sat down, they brought out these delicious rice like cylinders in a sauce: it's called Tteokbokki. We ordered two things to share. The clear noodle dish with chicken (Japchae) and the beef bulgogi. Both were incredible. So full of flavor. I did wish the bulgogi was available in less than the one pound serving. But I'm happy to have the leftovers. I was very happy with the experience and 100% plan to come back. Already thinking of friends I can tell about this amazing spot.

Walking into Noori Pocha was almost like being transported to South Korea! They played a video of someone walking the streets of SK on the projector and had a ton of cool Korean themed art on the walls including graffiti from all their patrons. Matt was an incredibly friendly server who got us what we needed quickly and always had a smile on his face. We visited the restaurant on a Tuesday and waited about 25 mins for a table. Once we ordered, the food came pretty quickly. The food was incredible! The plates are made to be shared, which is the best way to do it so you can try some of everything. Our table enjoyed kimchi fried rice, corn cheese, magic fries, beef bulgogi, and the soy garlic dumplings. Everything was extremely flavorful, a little salty but that was expected. The bulgogi came with lettuce wraps and white rice. Everything was served hot, crispy and DELICIOUS! This place is definitely something to experience. Can't wait to go back and bring some friends to experience it for themselves!

This place is a place that has brought me true foodie joy! From the moment you walk in the atmosphere screams fun vibes. The well thought out seating that doubles as a cubby for your stuff to the use of a doorbell to let the wait staff know when your ready to order is a great design. The food is such an adventure for your taste buds with the fried chicken being the absolute star of the show. Everything from the kimchi fried rice to the bulgogi beef is also a must try. Great place to share plates and laughs with friends.

Favorite Korean place ever!! The service has always been super kind and the food has always been super filling! The gastropub doesn't open until 5pm for dinner so that's a bummer but there is a small restaurant side that you can eat in at! This is my favorite bathroom at a public place EVER!! In the women's restroom the lighting is so cool. I can imagine that's what the inside of the gastropub looks like and I hope to see it soon! There were pads and a light mirror and it was spotless. The prices are perfect. My friend and I split the wings, fries, and dumplings and we were all satisfied. The staff is great and attentive and I hope to go back soon.

Really unique food, good service, and gastro pub ambiance. It is good to go with a group and share as the plates were pricey. The seats open so you can store your coat or purse. There is free duk boki if you dine in.

Honestly felt like I was in Korea the moment I stepped in. They completely nailed the vibes in here. Food was amazing. You gotta try their wings. Just be prepared for a very long wait if you're coming during peak dinner/evening hours.

Quite possibly the best service I have experienced at a restaurant all year. The tables do have a button to call for service, but the servers literally arrive within 5 seconds of calling. On top of it, everyone is so nice and friendly. These dishes are meant to be shareable - everything is a serving size for 2+ in my opinion. Four of us shared three dishes and almost finished everything, so I would use that as a guide when ordering. All of the dishes are amazing but I will say that the spice level leans on the spicier end of whatever you order. So good, though!!

Amazing Korean Gastropub that was featured as one of The NY Times 50 Favorite Restaurants in 2024. Their noodle salad dish is incredible, as is their chicken gizzard plate. K-Pop videos play in the background, and miniature dolls from Squid Game adorn the shelves while banner length ads with Korean girls hawking soju are hung up. Exceptional service and the server also asked for feedback on the noodle salad and I told him it reminded me of nyeongmyun (chilled noodles) and how they should serve it. Highly recommended!

Let's start with this place is very quant and gets very busy so get there early to stand in line or check in. There's only about 11 tables there. The good thing is Clawson has lots of things going on in the area so you can hang out at one of the local spots. The service was amazing and very fast. They were friendly and patient with us while ordering. They were well dressed and clean. The restaurant was also very clean. The food was 10/10 and I would definitely eat there again. The chicken was delicious. But the fried rice and dumplings *chefs kiss* will keep me going back. You can also do carry out if you don't want to wait to sit down. Next time I'll try carry out which I think will still be good. Also the prices are very good. I got fried rice, chicken and dumplings for under 45$. I think this was good for the area and environment. Please give them a try you will not be disappointed.

Noori Pocha was a good spot to hit up Sunday night before the start of another work week. A few friends and I stopped by a couple Sundays ago for a good time. We ordered a good amount of food and alcohol, which ended up being about 40 per person after tax and tip. 1 LB BOOLDAK (SPICY CHICKEN W CHEESE) - 24.99 +3.99 for 4 jumeok-bap I think we got medium spicy, which wasn't too bad! The chicken was nicely cooked and marinated and there was so much cheese. Getting the rice balls on the side was definitely worth it, so I'd recommend. The portion size is pretty fair for the price. JOKBAL (BRAISED PORK HOCKS) 34.99 Good with a variety of sauces and garnish on the side. It looks bigger than it really is, but the meat is topped on a bunch of bones, This was delicious and went well with the romaine lettuce it comes with. I would recommend eating it with some rice, too. CORN CHEESE - 6.99 Not worth it. The cheese broke immediately upon pulling and the flavor was underwhelming. I would not get this again. SAPPORO BEER (SOMEK) TOWER - 29.99 Beer isn't my thing but it was smooth enough that I was able to drink 2.5 cups during the evening. A couple of my friends loved it and had at least 3-4 cups. Not too strong, either. JINRO IS BACK - 13.49 It hurts that they sell each bottle for that amount here when you can get it at H Mart for much cheaper. Still, a good time. Not too strong and it's smooth. Overall, good experience as a group and less about the food or drinks. Good vibes and fun.

They have a pretty nice size menu with a lot of great options. A cool thing about their menu is their sliders. You get to choose whether you want a small or a full size. The idea is to be able to pick different sliders to choose to eat. I decided on the park bowl which came with white rice topped with sesame seeds, avocado, seaweed, and carrots. I added a salmon fillet. It was so fresh and delicious - and VERY filling! I also ordered the calamari for an appetizer and that was pretty tasty as well. I did have a cocktail, it was OK, I really didn't taste any liquor and it was a little bit more sweet than I would have liked.

I never expect stellar service when you have a big party. The issue I had was the food. It was mid at best. First it came out at all different times which I think is not ideal. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and it said it was grilled chicken.... There is absolutely NO way this was grilled chicken, it was canned chicken shredded to the max. That was disappointing because I was thinking it was grilled chicken cut into strips or chunks and then put in the wrap. I assumed incorrectly. For me it was very sub par, for the money I would rather go elsewhere. If you're going just for drinks, then maybe it's a decent spot. I had wine so nothing too adventurous.

The space is smaller but very welcoming and definitely feels like a local hangout spot. When you walk in, the specials board is front and center, including their Burger of the Month, which is what I ordered. Mine featured goat cheese, spinach, strawberry compote, and jalapeños. The flavor combination was unique and really worked well together, and the burger itself was juicy. Personally, I would have loved a bit more char for those crispy edges, but the flavors were definitely there. It came with rosemary fries that were thin, crispy, and generously seasoned. I added a side of hot honey for dipping, which ended up being an unexpectedly amazing combo. The restaurant has a great beer selection, plenty of TVs for sports, fun retro-style décor, and soft lighting that creates a relaxed atmosphere. Even at 9 PM, there were families with kids dining, so it feels very family-friendly rather than a late-night bar scene. Noise levels were low enough that conversation was easy, which I really appreciated. Bathrooms were also exceptionally clean. My main hesitation was pricing. A quesadilla was around $15 and my burger was $20, which pushed dinner for one person with a drink and tip to about $35. While that seems comparable to nearby spots like Boston's, it felt a bit high for casual bar-style dining. Parking is limited, but the location is convenient, just minutes from I-75 and surrounded by other restaurants. Service was amazing. We were sad immediately and she checked back often and said what her favorite thing on the menu was. Overall, good food, creative menu options, and a comfortable atmosphere. With a little refinement and maybe slightly better value, this could easily become a regular stop.

They have a limited menu until more people start coming here, bummer, I wanted the flamin Cheetos chicken sandwich, not on this menu. We decided to just eat some nachos with chicken and then move on from here for our main meal elsewhere. Their chef has only been here a few months. The menu could definitely add some more GF and vegetarian options and maybe some salads with something other than iceberg too. The shareable plates were brought to us. Mine was dirty with something crusted on it. I asked for another replacement. Even though it's in a bowling alley, it's an artisan restaurant. Nothing is frozen and everything is main in house. They even make their own corn chips, which were quite fresh and super crunchy too. The nachos were not warm or hot, the queso was drizzled on top. It actually tasted good, wouldn't have expected it at a bowling alley or escape room restaurant at all. The corn chips are nice and crispy, even after the drizzle. This nacho would be a nice and messy eat while playing some alley rounds. It's definitely an unexpected spot for bowling eats.
