I have been going here regularly with my son and grown into this joint. They have very good beer menu and serve food far better and more adventurous than you would expect in a bowling alley. Smore fries, a waffle burgers, flaming cheetos crusted chicken sandwiches, etc. They also have a solid kiss menu with good portion sizes. My only gripe is the service can be spotty at times, but part of that has to be related to the lack of patrons.

I've eaten here at least four times and continue to be surprised. Don't be thrown off that it's located within a bowling alley. This is one of Troy's top restaurants yet probably one of its least known. They have a professionally trained chef who has put together a great menu. There's a lot to choose from on the menu, especially if you're a foodie. My favorite is the steak sandwich served open face with zip sauce. But instead of fries, get the veggies-- you'll be impressed. They sous vide a lot of their food. They also have an ever changing craft beer list including many Michigan beers. They have a nice lineup of fancy sliders, pizza and salads. You do notice the bowling alley noise at first but then it blends in.

Finally tried this out. This is an Entertainment Destination. Great variety of beers in draught, can or bottle. Loved their escape hamburger, huge proportion cooked to perfection. Based on the other Yelp posts, and our server, my underwhelming steak sandwich was an unusual occurrence. I wish for 2 things to happen before my next visit, dining room TOO LOUD, we were screaming to be heard, Need to design sound absorbers. 2nd is add soup to the menu. The bowling alley was really cool. Lots of lights, Good music. Then in the side room they were offering more entertainment, some sort of comedy that started at 9.pm. go check it out.

Very good food. The service is friendly. We decided to eat while we waited for lanes to open up to bowl. I'm glad we chose this because so far it's great. We started with the pretzels appetizer with the queso cheese to dip. It's very very good.

This is a must stop! The food menu has so many cool items on it!

This is my new fave! The food was all homemade and different from the usual boring menu. The place is very, very clean. All new decor. I will continue to come and sit at the bar with my favorite bartender Paula who is always so happy and smiling. Get the Nachos for sure! They have the best nachos I've ever had. The manager Jason came over and was really nice too. I only have one complaint. The keno needs moved to the bar area and I'd probably stay longer. I got the dessert to take home and it might be the best dessert ever. This has bowling and games for kids. Great atmosphere for everyone.

My friend and I didn't have the best experience during our first visit, but it was redeemed when we decided to give it a second try. Great service, good food and inviting atmosphere... Would definitely recommend checking it out if you're around the 19 and John R. area. Our waitress Demetria did a fabulous job as well! Oh, and, by the way, the beans are not vegetarian, if you were thinking of ordering from the "lent menu." ;-)

Eats and Crafts is pretty much a more upscale bar and grill in a bowling alley. They have a fun menu with some interesting spins on traditional bar fare such as a burger topped with a fried egg and served between breakfast waffles, Philly cheesesteak fries, and ahi tuna sliders served on bao buns. They also have calamari, tacos, Cuban sandwich, pizza and quesadillas. Our table ordered a bunch of appetizers and shared them. The fried cauliflower, wings and Philly cheesesteak fries were all very tasty. They have a decent craft beer selection as well with faves from Rogue, Oddside, Griffin Claw, Old Nation and more. They also offer a happy hour Monday through Friday, from 3-7 pm with half off appetizers, $4 short craft drafts, $3 brand liquors and domestics, and half off wine. Thursday they have burger and brew day, $12 for a burger, side and 24 oz domestic beer. They also offer specials on beer on Monday night with $2 Michigan craft beers. When we were there, they were doing a Beat the Brewer laser tag event so reps from breweries were giving out brewery swag such as stickers, temporary tattoos and B. Nektar even gave us $10 gift certificates. Pretty cool place. There is a large bowling alley connected that does glow bowl on certain nights and they also had an arcade kind of like Dave and Busters and laser tag. I played laser tag and it was a lot of fun. You have to put both hands on the gun for it to work and everyone has colors for their team but your color can change in the middle of the game which was interesting. Really fun place! Would be great for a date night or group outing like a birthday party. I'll definitely be back soon!

Brunch at Eats and Crafts! Breakfast burrito and waffle burger, yum!

From our server Quinn to the amazingly prepared and fresh tasting food, it was back to what I originally thought of this chain. It was a Monday night so it was not busy and there were 7 of us so we were seated right away. Our food arrived very quickly after we ordered and looked amazing. I love that they offer seasonal menus so you are almost always going to find something new on the menu. Additionally, the summer menu is all under 600 calories. That's a bonus! I ordered the Grilled Corn Flatbread, hubby had the Avocado Toast, and my niece got the Filet Mignon. I didn't take a pic of every person's orders - just those flanking me. The Flatbread was excellent - it had cheese and spiced bacon as well as sour cream so the taste combination was excellent. Hubby said his Avocado Toast was the best he had ever had. I had a taste and it was very good. My niece said her Filet was perfectly cooked and not dry or tough. I'll be back again - thank you, Quinn, for how personable and helpful you were to our family.

If it's something big come early cause it definitely gets packed pretty quick. I had the boneless wings with the Korean sauce and it was shockingly good. Boneless wings are a low expectation food for me, so when a sauce or the crisp really comes out excellent, I'm always genuinely surprised. The sauce was really the highlight, cause it balances flavor and heat perfectly, while also having some sweetness without being too sticky. What I really like about this spot is that they have around 110 draft beers on tap so it's really a craft beer lovers paradise. They also have some basic beers for those who don't have the love for crafts along with a full bar and curated cocktail list. So if you like the idea of an elevated sports bar, with solid food choices, and amazing beer list this is the spot for you.

I sat at the bar where Mae very thoughtfully helped me navigate through the extensive been menu. I was very impressed at the selections! The food menu is just as impressive. I'm certain anyone can find a favorite. I ordered the blackened chicken gnocchi and found myself in flavor heaven. I've made and eaten a lot of gnocchi and this is easily the best I've ever had. Mae agreed with me and suggested it's because there's cheese in those potato pillows. I dunno but I would eat this every day if I could. If I thought they'd keep, I'd buy extra and take some home. Meanwhile the bar crowd was friendly and chatty as we watched soccer on a few TVs. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Salad. The avocado was rock hard, the chicken tasted off, and there were visibly rotted pieces of lettuce mixed into the salad. I let our server know, and she agreed it "didn't look normal." She took it back and asked what I'd like instead. I ordered the Chicken Giardiniera. It didn't arrive until the rest of my party had already finished eating. I've had this dish here before, and this version wasn't anywhere near the quality I remembered. The server even brought me a to-go box without asking because, at that point, everyone else was done and ready to leave. When the bill came, the salad was removed, but I was charged full price for the replacement entrée--even though it was served so late that I barely had a chance to eat it. What was most disappointing wasn't the food itself, but how the situation was handled. There was no apology, no manager stopped by, and no effort to make things right. For the prices Cooper's Hawk charges, I'd expect much better food quality and customer service. Very disappointing experience, and after seeing the quality decline over multiple visits, I won't be returning.
