    Baklava

The service was great. The staff was so kind and attentive. To start off the salad was fresh and nice. I really enjoyed the dressing, which is made in house. The hommous was good too, so good my daughter even ate it. (She usually doesn't like hommous.) We ordered way to much food, but it was all good. The guyro was the best one I have had in the valley. The chicken shawarma was flavorful, moist. Then we got the combo for two. All the meat was delicious. My favorite was steak kabob! Better steak then some steakhouse. Then finished with some good flaky baklava.

Literally the best Mediterranean food in the east valley. Super friendly, nice people and a totally affordable generously portioned meal. How is there not a line out the door at all times??

We ordered here last night and got a chicken shwarma, gyro, and some baba ghannoj for dinner. We ordered through a delivery service and we ordered our entrees without tomatoes and both of them came with tomatoes. The delivery service made it right j believe and took some $ off. The meat within each entree was cooked well and seemed to be good quality. The slices and seasonings were tasty as well. My pita was a bit too hard for my taste and my jaw abilities but otherwise it was pretty good. The fries were tasty as well and I'm a huge fry fan. I would have liked to see a larger portion of fries with the entree as well, the portion was small. The appetizer was great it's one of the best I've had here in AZ I highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious! Great food, quality and quantity. This family owned business goes back to 2005, the place is clean and looks newly renovated. The owner is at the restaurant to ensure quality and the best customer service. He is so friendly and enjoys a good conversation. We ordered the meal for 2 to go. It comes with all of the traditional favorites. I added gyro meat because I personally like it the best. If you are looking for some authentic Greek food, try this local gem.

Interior of the restaurant. Clean, but boring.
    Yo, Mel ..

Food is excellent. Ambiance it nonexistent. This is one of those places that changed a bunch after Covid. Spoke to the owner, who said that catering and to-go orders are what is keeping the business afloat. So even if you decide to stay in to eat, everything comes in styrofoam and you get plastic utensils. It was also eerily quiet. When we arrived, the only two employees were the owner and one cook. There was one other man in the restaurant, finishing his meal. No music. Just quiet. I was slightly bummed because I had consulted the Yelp community before picking the restaurant. Instead of searching for "Greek" or "Mediterranean" I looked up "saganaki." (For those of you who don't know-it's wonderful yummy flaming cheese served with pita bread.) The reason for using "saganaki" as a search term was that, since it's served on fire, it doesn't really work as takeout, and so many Greek places are fast-food gyro places, and we were looking for sit down. With servers and personal menus (instead of posted on the wall) and metal silverware. Sigh. As I said, though, the food was excellent. Hubby and I ordered the Combo for Two. It could have easily fed three, and if you're a group of light eaters, four. I've attached before and after photos. Bottom line, if you're looking for GREAT takeout, you've found it. If you're looking for a nice night out, choose someplace else.

This restaurant used to be a 5 and Diner. It has that cool, retro 50s design. The owner Khalil was very nice and polite. I got a classic gyro which hit the hunger spot. There was no AC but it looked like they were just doing takeout.

When the owner takes your order and spends a few getting to know a new customer, I feel in good hands. Kahlil was great to talk to & food was fresh, well priced and just what I wanted. We were in a hurry, so we ordered wraps (shwarama & Chicken kefta) i added some tabouleh for 99¢! We had two meals and it was less than 20 dollars. Def coming back when we visit Mesa. They do catering, too. The outside looks like a diner, the food tastes like Middle East. Wish I could go back right away, but it's 2.5 hour round trip.

Chicken Shawarma Sandwich, with side salad. Meat flavorful and well seasoned. I am not used to taste of salad dressing.

Prices are too expensive for what you get. The Greek food was OK. The pitas are really good but everything else was a bit underwhelming.

I'm going to get straight to the point: This is the best Lebanese (or even Near/Middle Eastern)…read morefood I've had for probably fifteen years...and I eat this cuisine at every opportunity! Visiting, from California, some dear friends in Mesa, we ventured through the triple-digit heat for about 20 minutes to get there. Even they as locals had never heard of the place, hidden amidst miles of chain stores and strip malls. But it wasn't long before we were all singing its praises and vowing to return. Across the board, every dish was peak: ultra-creamy and subtly garlicky hummus; silken, appropriately smoky baba ghannouj; perfectly crisp, tender, not-doughy-inside falafel; and herby tabbouli, light (but not vanishingly so) on the bulgur in the Levantine style. These basics always make or break such a restaurant, and they were all outstanding. Add to this seldom-seen delights like foul medamas (fava-bean soup), four variants of ghallabah (grilled meats or seafood), chack-chouka/shakshuka (eggs poached in tomatoes and onions), and two types of pita baked on premises and served from the oven--all in generous portions and at reasonable prices--and it's worth the drive wherever you are in Phoenix and environs. I would eat here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if I lived here. I will absolutely return on my next visit.

The waitress never gave us or offered us any refills on drinks. She was gone most of the night. There's an upcharge for fresh bread and so I said yeah, we'll do it. She said she'd bring out the pee-packaged pita bread and the fresh bread that we paid extra for. Then she never brought out the pee-packaged stuff like she said she was going to. The bread was ok, but they only gave us 3 pieces of pita bread which were about the size of a sand dollar. This was not enough bread for 2 people with 3 dips. Also, the fries were the kind of fries you get when it looks like they haven't cleaned the grease in a while. The babaganoush was really good. But everything else was pretty mediocre. I've been here 3 or 4 times and everytime I feel as though the service is bad and the food is overpriced. It's really sad, but I want to like this place, but I can't. Also, they have a rewards program but my waitress didn't try to get me to sign up. I asked when I saw it. It's a pet peeve of mine. But- I guess she doesn't really care or offer it because she probably doesn't think people will come back. My friend who joined me tonight is Muslim and she needed a place to pray, but this place didn't have one. I was surprised to learn that tonight as well. Spend your money elsewhere.

Everything looked soooo appetizing on the menu and since I was going to meal prep this week, the Al Sham Chicken Combo caught my eye. For $15, you get little cute pieces of chicken shawarma with 2 dips! I was in love with the red sauce and wish the garlic sauce was more garlic-y but it was good either way! The kofta was great as well but would definitely come back more for their shawarmas but it's definitely the best bang for your buck I also got some baba ganoush on the side to dip my fries in but unfortunately, I thought the baba ganoush was too lemony/there was too much sumac added so it wasn't as enjoyable. Most baba ganoush I've tasted in my hometown also had a smokey flavor to it from the eggplant so it really couldn't compare.
