I ordered a Marko's Special, which was a double meat burger including Monterrey jack cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and jalapenos (had them add some hickory sauce). The burger was filling and tasted good, but seemed to be missing just a little bit of seasoning. The poppy seed bun was toasted just right and the burger was sufficiently juicy. The fries were good, crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The decor was nothing to get excited about, but the service was efficient and friendly and I would definitely come back if I was in the area. read more

First visited on a Sunday evening around 8pm. It's a bit difficult to find (close to the Home Depot). I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and tots to go. Service was quick and polite. Ambience was lacking but what do you expect? They have some awesomely high ceilings that they could do something fun with! Food was delicious! Hot and flavorful! Although there wasn't anything unique about it. In fact I could get a very similar burger across the street at kellers (love them too!) at a lesser price. After reading the reviews and it only being 5 min away from work I thought I should give it a shot. I ordered a double cheese burger with bacon. After it arrived I was really impressed with the size & it looked so amazing! But after taking the first bite I soon realized the meat was bland almost flavorless. It also seemed as if it had not been freshly made. Even though it was a double cheese burger, there was a lot more bread than meat. The poppy seed bun is huge, it was probably the best tasting part of the burger. And the chilli cheese fries were pretty good as well, they don't use shredded cheese though. read more

The place is clean! Looks like a hole in the wall from the outside. Weren't a lot of cars int he parking lot, but there were quite a few people in the place when I went in. Kind of puzzling? I ordered the #1 Texas Burger, added cheese. It is a huge burger! The bun was perfectly toasted, but for me, it had too many poppy seeds on it. The bottom of my bun, which I suspect was not normal, had at least a teaspoon of seeds on it alone. Probably an anomaly! The combo comes with a ton of well made fries, hot and fresh, but lacking in salt! Stuff straight from the fryer should be salted when pulled out. That is the time for the salt to stick to it, before the product cools too much. Had salt at the table that did the trick. Yummm! The vegetables were fresh and exactly the right amount! Next time I'll order extra tomato, as I love tomato's. Very Good burger, I thought was overpriced at first, the fact that it was large and fresh made up the difference for me. All in all the combo was a a good value. The staff was excellent! Promptly cleaning up after the nasty patrons left food on the tables and floors. My beloved Flaming Burger, thank you for always being there for me. You truly are my "home burger". Yes home burger, not hamburger. Let me please explain. Flaming Burger is the best hamburger available within a reasonable driving distance. For me it is less than one mile. I'm sorry Whataburger, you know I love you so much and your right there too, but for home burger, it's Flaming Burger for me. Flaming Burger is always cooked to perfection with fresh toppings. I can honestly say I have never had anything but great burgers here. Now let's talk about the service. As nice as can be. Either on the phone or in person, always polite and attentive. I'm probably putting a curse on myself, but they have never got the order wrong. The number one with a slice of cheese usually does it for me. If you are going for a double patty burger bring your appetite Hoss! Not the easiest place to find, you can't see it from the road but they're there. This is my new one stop shop for delicious hamburgers. The restaurant is a hidden gem located in the Whiterock Marketplace shopping center. Nothing fancy here and it doesn't have to be. The ingredients all taste very fresh and the meat is cooked is with crisp edge, just the way a patty should. The regular fries are so delicious and they even offer sweet potato fries. read more

The burger is as good as the location is bad. Bad as in hard to find - not dangerous. Poppy seed bun is fresh and a quick sear on the grill gives it the perfect toast and crunch without drying it out. Patties are a good size. The Marko's Special double whipped me. Shredded lettuce, fresh tomatoes, fresh crunchy jalapenos and the secret weapon - hot mustard. Not like hot chinese mustard, but a spicy yellow that gives it the perfect kick. Seasoned fries were hot, crisp and not the least bit greasy. I liked them better than the onion rings, but only because I prefer overly thick cuts of onion in my rings. They were cooked to perfection too. Flaming Burger is the best burger in the area. Better than Snuffers, Jakes, Chili's and Fat Daddy's. With a more prominent location, they would be pulling in a crowd like In-n-Out...but long after the newness wears off. read more

Looks can be quite deceitful. This place looks like some hole in the wall place from the outside. It's a little better inside, but looks do not matter. The double burger ranks in the top two I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, toasted poppy seed buns, nice thinly sliced grilled onions. The fries and onion rings were great too. I'm still a massive fan of Flaming burger. The friendly owner is always there and the food is rock solid consistent. You'll never be able to start eating your food when it hits the table. It's literally to hot to handle. This place does more than you could imagine with standard ingredients that you could find at any burger joint.
