Scallops, dessert flight, lamb shank, Brussels and steak

A Chic Culinary Experience in Roswell First impressions matter--and Folga nails it right from the valet! Being greeted with a glass of prosecco or flavored water is such a thoughtful and classy touch. It immediately set the tone for what turned out to be a stylish and memorable dining experience. The servers are incredibly sweet and attentive, and the service overall was nothing short of phenomenal. The ambiance? Elegant, modern, and cozy--perfect for a date night or a special dinner with friends. Now to the food: portions lean on the smaller side, so keep that in mind if you're coming hungry-- The scallop dish (yes, singular!) was beautifully plated and divided into four delicate bites. ( I was a little taken aback that it was just one scallop) The lamb shank was hearty and tender--a solid main course with generous portioning. Brussels sprouts made for a tasty shared appetizer with a nice crisp and bold flavor. The steak frites had a good portion size and could work as either a hearty starter or a lighter entrée. Special mention to the bread service--a simple but elevated addition that rounds out the meal nicely. Overall, Folga blends upscale dining with warm hospitality in a way that feels both luxurious and approachable. Perfect for a night out when you're looking to treat yourself. Oh and it's Halal!

From the 1st moment of arrival to finally leaving at the end of the dinner, everything was wonderful. Service is out of this world, the food is diverse, flavorful and excellently presented. I thoroughly recommend you give Floga a try. It's the new kid in the block so still relatively uncrowded but it won't stay that way for long. On top of all that, they have a live band playing which was very pleasant and not intrusive. Perfect atmosphere for a superb dinner.

Imagine driving up to a cozy restaurant snuggled in a historic neighborhood and the valet not only greets you with a warm smile and pleasant demeanor, but also offers you a glass of champagne or infused sparkling water as soon as you exit your vehicle! Then upon entering the establishment, the ambiance is set with a fire steel emblem flown in from Spain on warm dark mahogany wood walls. As you stand with the hostess, you hear the sounds of a playful piano and cool tunes echoing in the foyer and inviting you inside. The chic seating to your left catches your eyes in a quiet room where business deals are closed or the stress of the day silently drips away onto plush club chairs pulled up to hard wood tables. As you are seated, the young bartender feverishly shaking the next best cocktail offers a warm smile as the dim lighting and low murmur of happy patrons set the mood. Southern charmers dressed as wait staff great you with broad smiles; hanging on to your every word as if providing you with this experience is their life's mission. Imagine a Brahman bull quietly walking into a room, booming with a commanding presence and standing by your side. His mere existence demands the room and the team's respect and reverence for "the bull" are apparent; providing quiet direction as the staff whispers "Yes Chef" before hurriedly taking on the mission. Then as if being pampered (and what feels like being waited on hand and foot) by the service team is not enough, the quiet strength of the Chef appears at your table side in order to assure your food, drinks and overall experience from the moment you arrive are Michelin level. When you are here, you are transported to another world. The offerings are beyond and exceed any and all expectations. The sparkling water obviously tapped from a snow cap mountaintop spring, a tapestry of goat cheese, kalamata olives, thinly sliced beats, fresh crisp miniature cucumbers, sweet cherry tomatoes and fresh baked bread with an herb garlic drizzle. A mocktail that literally danced a slow sultry breeze across my palette. Smokey, charred roasted Brussels with a balsamic vinaigrette reduction to create the contrast of sweet yet savory. A Valencian Paella brimming with authenticity, fresh shrimp, clams and mussels atop luscious saffron rice. Tender juicy, charred lamb chops sliced with ease and served with pure love of the gift of food. Be warned before you arrive here, you will absolutely, positively, unapologetically fall in love with this establishment. It is not a restaurant. It is a life changing experience.

WOW! I ordered the wienerschnitzel with a beurre blanc sauce and spaetzl and it was so fresh, flavorful, and filling. I also had the goulash which was good but honestly I prefer the crappy American version with the noodles lol. My husband got the Schwarbien plate with a smoked pork chop, sausage, and double smoked bacon- I could eat a plate of that bacon by itself it literally melted in my mouth The ambience of the restaurant was a great mix of quaint and cozy while still being upscale Definitely going to keep this in our nice restaurant rotation

I had been following Kurt's Bistro on Instagram since the Covid years, but hadn't had a chance to…read morecome out until recently. My initial impression was very poor. We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation, but were told our table was already ready, so we were seated. (The restaurant tables are very close together, so be aware that if anyone in your party is wheelchair bound, it may be difficult for them to maneuver around.) The restaurant is kept very warm inside, and I'm usually someone who feels cold easily, but even I was rather hot. A woman brought water glasses and a water carafe to our table and said, "If you want something besides water, just let me know," and then walked off. So, in my mind, that woman was a food assistant or a food runner. Turned out, she was our waitress! She later stopped by, didn't introduce herself and didn't ask if we'd ever been there before, but did ask if we wanted an appetizer. We ordered Potato Pancakes. She also asked if we wanted bread service, so we said yes. We did notice from other conversations at the very close tables near ours, that many of the customers are regulars and have their favorite waitstaff. The manager had stopped by a table to regrettably inform a couple that their favorite waiter was out for 2 weeks. So, that did give us hope that if they have regulars, it must be good. The Potato Pancakes were delicious! (I didn't even stop to snap a picture because we were very hungry!) My husband ordered the "Bier" + Cheese Burger ($16.95), and I ordered the Pork Shank "Schwweinehaxe" ($34). The waitress said she had to check the availability of the Pork Shank, so I told her that if it wasn't available, to put in Chicken Wienerschnitzel. Then she didn't come back to let us know what the kitchen said. My husband flagged her down to find out if the pork shank was available, and she said she'd forgotten to come back, but that it was. He also told her that it was my birthday, so she brought out a cute birthday tea light for the table. The food was absolutely delicious, and for the price point, you can easily see why people are regulars there! The pork shank was enormous! (We ate off of it 2 more times after we took it home. The restaurant gave us extra gravy at no charge, too.) The rosemary mashed potatoes were very good! The presentation was lovely! My husband really enjoyed his burger. Then for dessert, our waitress brought out a slice of tiramisu with a wedge of chocolate cake over it, berries, whipped cream, and a little birthday candle in it. Turned out really wonderful! Will definitely go back to this unique spot!

Yum Yum Yum! I mean what more can I say?! I was very impressed with my experience here. From…read morethe food to the service, everything was amazing. The bartenders were very attentive; even with the busyness of the bar because of happy hour. I didn't order any food items from the HH menu but I did order a cocktail which was the limoncello spritz. It was good. A little tart for my palette. I tend to venture more on the sweet side but decided to order the spritz since it's springtime. The star of my visit was the Caesar salad which they call the grilled gems. There's 3 whole wedges of lettuce, grilled and drizzled with Caesar dressing and a hemp of Parmesan cheese. And they did not skimp on the cheese. And honestly that's how you're a Caesar salad is supposed to be. I would've LOVED to have croutons or maybe almonds just for the crunch but it was still good. I'd definitely come back just for that. I didn't order a full on entree but I did get dessert. The Crème Fraiche gelato to be exact. The olive oil drizzle sold me. While I don't think this is gelato, it was still good. To me, the texture gave regular vanilla ice cream. The olive oil gelato at Iberian pig is still number one in my book. I definitely want to try their garden menu which is exclusive to the patio area and the bread pudding. I hear it doesn't have raisins.

The service was amazing, especially María, who truly went above and beyond. She was incredibly kind and made us feel at home the entire time. It felt like no matter what we needed, she was genuinely happy to help, and that's something you really appreciate when dining out. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a great atmosphere, especially at night. It's perfect for celebrating a birthday or going with a group because they have a QR code system where everyone can pay for their own items. No splitting checks, no awkward math, just super easy and convenient, especially for larger parties. Food wise, everything we ordered was delicious. I shared a charcuterie board with three friends and it was really good. We also ordered the tuna carpaccio, which was amazing and came with natural potato chips that were honestly a 10 out of 10. We ordered a pizza as well, I don't remember the name but it had mushrooms and it was so good. For drinks, my go to cocktail is an espresso martini and even though it wasn't on the menu, they were able to make it for me. It was perfect, with a strong coffee flavor, which I personally love in an espresso martini. Overall, Ecco Midtown was an incredible experience. Amazing food, amazing service, and a great atmosphere. If you're looking for a great place to celebrate with friends and enjoy good food and cocktails, this is definitely a great option.

My curiosity got piqued when I was walking by and saw gulasch on the menu board. I mean, gulasch in a food court? I'm so there. But what really won me over was the picture of the bread dumplings next to the gulasch. When I was in Prague last year, I ate bread dumplings 3-4 times a day. The entire week! Bread, in an form, is my absolute weakness. So I ordered a couple of things -- the gulasch and the frikadellen. I should have known it wasn't gonna be authentic after I found out that the Korean grandmother hostess was none other than the cook. She is the nicest, sweetest grandmother, though, and fed me like a starving granddaughther who hasn't eaten in days. The gulasch, as expected, tasted more Korean than Czechoslovakian. It was really Korean stew, if anything else. It did taste bold and flavorful, and the meat pieces were very tender. Unfortunately, the bread dumplings are only for photography purposes as I learned they'll never have it available. The frikadellen (German meat patties) were as delicious as the German version -- meaty with spinach, carrots, and a bit of cilantro in the filling. All meals come with a side of salad (and soup if requested; she gave me both). This is a good place to eat homecooked European meals with a touch of Korean. Meals start at $5.95 and portions are huge. Other menu items include pasta bolognese, schnitzel, Asian noodles, fried rice, fish, chicken tenders. Where else can you order gulasch with fried rice?
