Kevin and the other guys that work here are great! I've been a faithful customer of Fix Laptop for over 10 years now. The shop does get very busy at times, and that's because he offers excellent deals and very thorough service! The guys here are very helpful and offer suggestions and deals that accommodate your specific needs. The prices are unbeatable. One of the great things about this place is that they offer accessories too, like power cords, ect. When I met Kevin he just had one shop downtown and within the past 10 years he has expanded his service and opened up several new bay area locations, making it much more convenient for those of us who work around the bay. I highly recommend getting any laptop problems taken care of at any of these Fix Laptop locations. You really can't beat the price or service anywhere! They also offer laptop monthly insurance for peace of mind if you'd like that service as well. Do not go here for any reason. They are a rip off and very unprofessional. They originally told me it was going to cost $79 to fix my laptop jack but added an extra $10 when I picked it up. Also I wanted them to replace the jack with something that would fit my existing after market power supply and they just simply ignored it. They did not call me any tell me that they ignored my request. They simply lied to me and said my power supply was broken, which isn't because I just tried it on another laptop I have. So I will never go here again and I hope this review discourages others from going here. This place deserves to go out of business I hate stores like this where they try to milk all of your money and are very rude. The only reason I went here is because it was the cheapest place I found but I would rather spend more money somewhere else than go here again. read more

I am pleasantly surprised by the level of customer service and troubleshooting provided by to me by Lily this week. I had some challenges earlier this week that involved my employer and getting the lap top paperwork processed properly, and Lily told me she was going to take care of me as the customer and to come back Wednesday after 1pm and my problem would be resolved. This place is AWESOME!!! Charley is a very understanding knowledger at time to explain your computer issue. Huge selection of laptops and desktop computers. Nick deserves a raise. He was extremely accommodating with his attentive service by allowing me to place my sim card in numerous phones. Although the conclusion was that I had a busted sim card, he was very helpful and went through the entire process which lasted about an hour when he could had easily tried one phone and told me that the s card was not working. They not only did more than I asked them to do, but did it for less than the estimate they had given. Also, unlike the other places I tried who said they were handicap available, they didn't have a step in the doorway I couldn't pass, so I could actually get in with my wheelchair. They also loaded my laptop into my pack for me without my asking for help. read more

My son laptop got the FBI virus, pop up with FBI freezes pages and blocked the computer for using. we took it to fix laptop for repair, we need to save my son musics, he has over 1000 songs need to save, they save the songs and remove the virus, we will come back for more repair computers if we need. read more

Great service. Very friendly place in the heart of downtown. Was not simple to find parking so that could be better, but the service was great. Convenient, quick service for repairing my iPhone 4s screen.
