I found my computer repair guy! I was watching my friend's toddler when, in a moment that my back was turned, she managed to spill almost a liter Coke bottle INTO my computer. Literally, it fell over dead center of the keyboard and started to glug-glug-glug into my computer. By the time I got baby safely aside and managed to get to the Coke bottle, my computer had spazzed out and shut off. I freaked out! I called him up after finding him on Yelp and he was immediately accommodating and helped calm me down. He helped me work with my warranty company so that I wouldn't be wasting my time or money. He was polite and friendly and not condescending at all. Thanks, Greg! read more

I heard about Greg and Fix It Now Computers on NextDoor and tried him a while back for a problem on my office computer with good results. This time the problem was my kitchen computer: The screen would scroll all the way to the bottom, very quickly. I couldn't stop it. Then I couldn't get it to scroll back up to where I wanted to view it. I explained that when I called Greg and he asked if I had changed my mouse battery, saying I should try that and call him back if that didn't work. I tried that and it didn't work. I tested the battery and it was only slightly down. Then it occurred to me that I had a new mouse for my office computer sitting on my desk, still in the package. I retrieved that and tried it. The problem immediately disappeared! Yeay Greg! And he didn't even get paid! I called him and thanked him profusely and logged on to Yelp... read more

Absolutely over the top awesome service. Was it the fact I didn't know them and received help at home quickly? Was it the fact they were sooo nice with my 90 old mom and windows password problem? Or was it the fact that they quickly solved the problem and bonus cleaned up her computer viruses and we were done and all I did was make one call? DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE...I never will!! 5+ star rating read more

This is top-knotch service. Greg the owner came to my home and picked up my laptop. He is pleasant, and a serious professional. My screen was cracked, he had my computer ready the very next day, its working as if it is new. When it comes to getting the work done, he does so in an expeditious manner. I have 4 more computers for him to fix, and I can't wait to get those up and running properly too. Fix it now is worth every cent, and this business is the most reasonable cost wise, you can't top the excellent service. read more

Fix It Now Computers - Same Day Onsite Repair - IT Services & Computer Repair Near Me

Greg of Fix It Now Computers has been my computer mechanic for years, and I am thrilled to see that he is branching out and being so successful. He certainly deserves it! Greg has always gone above and beyond when it comes to service and keeps my computers running strong. I own an online retail business and use my computer every day processing orders, shipping, promoting, etc. I can NOT be without my computer, and consequently, I can't just let any knucklehead touch my equipment. I have no worries dealing with Greg. He was over today to give my computer a much needed tune-up and oil change. Runs like a champ again! Thanks Greg, you will ALWAYS be my computer go-to guy in the Bay Area! I appreciate the extra effort and professionalism. -Duane. read more

About 10 years ago my company let it's service contract expire and, although I had a company PC, I was on my own to find technical support. Fortunately, I found "Fix-It-Now". Greg did such a great job getting my laptop working again that my company contracted with him for several other jobs and I've continued using him for my personal computer support. Over the years he's replaced couple of hard drives, made several upgrades and was always able to get me up and running with negligible down time. Although "Fix-It-Now" has expanded it's business it still offers the same professional and personable service. As long as Greg is around, I'll keep coming back and referring people to him. read more

Greg is great! I've used him twice now, & he's super-speedy, & awesome to work with. This second time, my issue was a dead hard drive. I was worried that the last three years of my life (computer-wise) were gone, but he was able to copy everything over to a new hard drive & restore my computer within two days (would've been one, except for how much stuff I have on my hard drive). Would definitely recommend Greg, & would use him again in the future. read more

Greg screwed everything up. I brought him a laptop with a cracked lcd screen, which seems like a simple fix. Just replace it....Greg shorted out the entire computer while replacing the screen, and he has no idea why it happened. Then he didn't call me to tell me about it and instead ordered another laptop and was going to swap out the hard drive. I didn't trust him, and when I finally got both laptops from him, I find out he lied about the color of the new laptop. What should have taken a few days took weeks, and Greg never called me to update me. Instead I had to call him every time and find out more bad news. Greg made my simple fix a huge problem, and I lost everything. I would not recommend taking your computer here. Fix It Now Computers should be called Fix It Never. read more

Short version... Greg is worth EVERY dollar spent fixing your computer/system/setup. (Unless you like being frustrated with your computer and want to kill it. Or maybe attacking it with a hammer is cheap therapy for you - for that you should talk to your therapist... but I digress.) He could call his service "Computer repair excellence and really fast service at an affordable price"; That would work too. Greg is a "cheap date" when it comes to fixing computer issues... ( I mean that as a serious complement). Fast - competent - honest - and gets the job done. Greg has retrieved data from "fried" hard drives; chased away evil viruses, saved me a boatload of cash on "anti-virus" programs; given me excellent advice on new hardware; set up Wi-Fi and printer systems; etcetera... He's been there - same day - when my wife's computer (and my wife) melted down; and generally turned "end-of-the-world" computer malfunctions into readily resolvable and affordable solutions. Greg is available (almost always same day) - extremely competent (never failed to fix or resolve my computer problems) - very trustworthy (he comes to my house - so I do trust him implicitly) - and he tell the accurate truth about what is going on with the computer. What may drive me nuts is usually a "piece of cake" for Greg. And I'm fairly "computer literate". Did I mention he has always fixed my computer problems quickly and efficiently? Oh I did? OK You get my point. (Computer store service sucks - been there - done that - got the tee shirt too). Arrrrgggggg. Save yourself some grief - call Greg. He really will fix-it-now. The name - "Fix-it-Now" - was what prompted me to call him the first time. I am glad I called him. Greg is my go-to guy for all things computer. And Greg is polite (and funny) too. read more

Greg is amazing. My hard drive failed at the worst moment for work and I was frantic. Greg answered his phone super early in the morning, drove over to my house within 1 hour, picked up my computer and returned it the following morning with a new hard drive and all data transferred. He saved me. He really did! read more

A few months ago my work laptop was losing it at the worst time. Greg did a great job saving me from a ton of hassle and stress. He fixed my laptop quickly. Above that he was a great communicator and provided wonderful customer service. I highly recommend Fix It Now Computers! read more

When my PC stopped being able to boot Windows, I took it to Greg. He diagnosed the problem quickly, preserved all my data, and was a gem to communicate with. The experience was 180 degrees away from leaving my machine with indifferent service people at a grimy computer repair store. read more

I have used FIx It Now Computers for several years now. They are 5 stars. Fix It Now Computers is super responsive when you call, fast to fix things and very authentic and personable. I have a home office business and would highly recommend Greg Lowery, the owner. He is as someone terrific at technology (repair or consult on purchase) and terrific at helping customers understand as much of the technology as they want--or not. I had the hardest time importing my business mailing list into the new computer from an older version of Outlook. Greg and his team got it done in no time flat. After the work was done, there was still another issue and Greg went in via remote assist & took care of it minutes after I called him about it. Good job! read more

Greg has been my computer fix it guy for a few years now. Recently I had a very old hard drive that the Used Computer store had basically told me was unsalvageable. I'd never backed up what was on it, and didn't have much hope for doing it. Somehow it didn't surprise me that Greg managed to download everything off of it, and deliver it to me without problems. Greg is also just a really good guy. I'm fairly picky about who I have in my home, and a lot of what I have on my computer is more private than anything, anywhere in my house. I trust Greg with my stuff, and that he'll arrive with a friendly smile. He also almost always picks up the phone, or calls back really quickly if he doesn't, which I especially appreciate if I'm stressed about my computer. read more

When my PC acted up and couldn't get an internet connection, I needed a computer guy who makes house calls. Greg Lowery of Fix It Now Computers is the BEST! He came over promptly, listened patiently while I described the problem, then fixed it efficiently and expertly. I have now used him several times, always with great satisfaction. What I really like about Greg is he is willing to listen to the average non-geek (like myself), then uses all his geek experience to fix the problem promptly. Charges by the hour and not nearly as expensive as Geek Squad. -- Diane, Oakland. read more

WOW!!!!! My sister and I really lucked out finding Greg. He is professional, fast, on time and honest and he went the extra mile for us. We are not computer savy and appreciate all his qualities. Tom, one of Greg's team members came over exactly when they said he would...gave me a decent price and cleaned all of these stupid trojan viruses out perfectly and in the same day. He even updated my virus protection software for free. I'm recommending these guys to anyone and everyone who has problems with their comp. Cheers! read more

Greg is a professional, his service is excellent. I have his business card and will let my people know who to contact for computer issues. Its sometimes difficult to find and trust that the person you speak with can, with all honesty, do the job, well, I got lucky. My 2nd call was to Fix It Now, he knew what to do - had to reinstall my operating system. Thanks so much Greg!! read more

Greg is simply very, very competent. I had the opportunity to do an apples-to apples comparison of his work to that provided by the Customer Support at Fry's. After purchasing a new computer, I asked Fry's to move my critical computer files to my new computer and they totally screwed the pooch--we are talking inability to access important stuff like Quicken Data and Outlook data files. It was very inconvenient, very expensive and a total failure. I called Greg and he did it for less money, at my convenience and in our (RV) home. We had sold our home in Walnut Creek and were leaving town in our RV. I had to have my files migrated to my new computer from my old laptop which had died. Greg came over to my RV and did it immediately, days before we were scheduled to leave town. He put an app on my computer which allows him to remotely access it to fix anything that goes wrong in the future. So I am good to go from anywhere that I happen to be. Good guy and wonderful service. And, Greg, if you happen to read this review, please accept my apology for not putting a review up before now. You really saved my bacon. read more

Greg was fantastic. I spilled some salad on my keyboard which rendered my computer inoperable. He ordered and replaced the keyboard and answered many of my anxious phone calls in the interim at no extra charge. The morning that he had the keyboard he was here and replaced it quickly. He has a 100 dollar charge for an hour of service. He used the rest of the hour to fix some other problems with my computer that had been slowing it waaaay down; it is now running like a dream. He wasn't sure if that would fix another problem that I was having (screen was turning white during heavy use). A few hours later it looks like he solved all of the problems that my computer was having in that hour. He was very conscientious about cost to the customer. He checked in with me about how quickly we should have the keyboard mailed and got it here pretty fast for pretty cheap. Also, he was running a program to clean up my computer and when he realized he was close to the end of the hour, he offered me instructions on how to proceed and contact him for any further assistance. Money well spent. Thanks Greg! read more
