This was by far the best service experience I've ever had with auto repair. The initial process of dropping off my car and receiving a rental only took about 15 minutes because they had insurance and car rental representatives IN HOUSE. Les, whom I originally thought was the owner because he showed genuine concern, kept me updated regularly on the status of my vehicle. In his messages he explained the particular stage of the repair process my car currently was in. This kept me informed on what to expect next as well as the time of completion. Les went beyond expectations to make sure my car was PERFECT and that it met his high standards. I will definitely go to Fix Auto again, but hopefully I won't have to. :) read more

WOW! I just have to say this place is phenomenal when it comes to customer service and getting the job done right! Thank you Keith for restoring my faith in good ol' American business ethics. We brought our Lexus in for front end repair after some clown ran a red light and took our front end with him as he fled the scene. As stated in the other reviews, the employees at Fix were great, always polite and smiling. In addition to the insurance work, we had extra work done to a damaged rear fender at our own expense since we were already there for the front end. We had a few minor issues we pointed out when we picked up the car that were clearly oversights while the car was being repaired, IE: missing trim, loose turn signal assembly, cracked headlight assembly, etc. OMG! I have never seen a business so quick to roll out the red carpet and pour on the VIP treatment AFTER getting paid. The manager, Keith, essentially moved a friggen' mountain to make us happy with the job. He went way above and beyond the call of duty . He waited after hours to receive the car back from us and had the loaner car waiting when my girlfriend arrived. Not only did he fix the above listed issues, but he fixed a few dings and paint scratches on other parts of the body. On top of that, he routinely called with updates a timeline for the repairs. They put the wrong model parts on my car, said it was ready I got there the 3rd time.& the wrong Make Logo & frontend was on my luxury car, depreciating it by $10,000!!! WTH??? No accountability, had to beg to make things right, after making 4 trips to the shop saying it was done, I get it back & then it wouldn't start!! I'm very happy with the work done by Fix Auto in Oceanside. After someone hit my parked car leaving damage to the rear bumper, side panel and side mirror, my insurance company (Geico) set me up with an appointment at Fix Auto for repairs and a rental car which I was also able to pick up at Fix Auto. I was able to drop off my car and pick up the rental when they opened at 7:30am, and after I informed the staff at Fix Auto and Enterprise Rental agent that was there waiting for me that I needed to be at work by 8am, they made sure expedite the process so I could get to work with time to spare. The next day I received a detailed estimate over the phone and by email with expected completion date on the Friday 1 week later. Throughout their repair process I received email updates on the progress they had made with updated time estimates. They were able to complete my repair 3 days earlier than expected, and I was again able to pick up my car and drop off the rental with them the next morning at 7:30am. The pick up process was seamless and quick, again leaving me plenty of time to get to work at 8am. The repairs made look fantastic. You cannot tell there was ever any damage and all the lights and mirror fixtures repaired work perfectly. I'm also informed that their work comes with a lifetime guarantee. I needed body work on my Cadillac Escalade when I went into fix auto last week no one is wearing face mask I waited to see if other clients noticed this also & another client made a comment about the lack of safety precautions begin taken I decided to leave since I was unsure when I got my truck back if it would be safe to drive home to my family. The repair work is 4,600$ which I feel is more than I would of paid at fix auto but can't put a price on my safety. Fix auto Oceanside was on the list of recommended repair shops I received from Amica when my car was severely keyed. I am so glad I went with this place. They helped me schedule my appointment and worked around my schedule and gave me an estimate of 5 days for it to be finished. At this time, I met the mechanical technician Arnold who is probably the most sincere sweetest guy ever, and he went over my estimate and explained everything he would be doing to my car. He also said if I had any questions at all, call him anytime....fast forward a day to receiving a call from Arnold and the shop... My car was already being painted and he was going to take it for a test drive and make sure everything was ok for pickup. I dropped my car off on a Monday morning, this call was Tuesday evening, and my car was ready for Wednesday afternoon, not Thursday evening as estimated for finish. I must tell you that the entire process from making an appointment to having the car delivered to my home was one of the best business experiences I've ever had. This Fix francise needs fixing. It took them 8 days to replace my Ford Escape's driver side rear view mirror. I had to call repeatedly and sit in their office to make it happen. Service technician Keith was non responsive, and franchise co-owner Andre Jackson didn't take responsibility for screw up after screw up. On day six, when I said to Andre, "You're putting my family at risk, leaving me to drive without a rear view mirror this long", he asked "How am I putting you at risk?" Yikes! After 8 days of lies and broken promises, when Andre Jackson did finally get the part in he proclaimed, "I went out of my way to get you the part!" He considers doing the essentials of his job going out of his way for a customer. And then he made me pay the full deductable. Had I gone to Caliper Collision and spoken with Chris Cozmillo it would have been done in a day or two. Avoid this shop until this Fix gets fixed. read more

I was pleasantly surprised when I dropped off my BMW SUV 4.4 to have body work done as someone did a hit and run on my car. Didn't do the repairs right. Instead of fixing the problem, they caused more problems to my vehicle. My abs light comes on and off which it didn't do that before I dropped off the vehicle. Car was painted & they didn't even try to match the color to the vehicle & also the bumper still has a cracked to it. Alignment is still off, so I'm guessing they didn't even fix the suspension either nor did the alignment. And also Geico insurance sucks, they know they didn't fix my vehicle read more

Very disappointing customer service and poor attention to detail! I brought my car here at the recommendation of my insurance company. Despite working off appointment times they make you wait for 30 minutes before speaking with you. Then they miss multiple details about the repair. Then their paperwork is inconsistent and missing even more details. Then when you drop it off they make you wait another 30 minutes only to have more issues with the repair plan. I walked out and went to Len's where the service has been great so far. When I told Len's that I walked out of Fix Auto, they told me I was the 4th person this week to do that! OMG! If you have any expectation of professional service or attention to detail, skip this shop and go elsewhere. read more

I'd give this place negative stars if I could. Zero customer service!!! Let me start from beginning... I have a front end I need fixed because my car rear ended someone, great fix auto is referred by state farm for repairs and i've had work done there before when it was another name but same shop. I was satisfied with that past experience. This time they get me in right away to do the estimate, and I agree to leave my car so they can pull the front off to get the extend of any frame damage. I order to leave my car I have to sign some paperwork, of course that sounds fine. When the receptionist hands me the paperwork, she tells me, "this is authorizing the repairs" to which I replied, "no, i'm not authorizing the repairs without an estimate" then she says, "thats the only way we do an estimate" Me again, "than i need to talk to the guy who just looked at my car and tell him thanks but no thanks, i need the estimate before i agree to any repairs" then she said "ok you can wait to talk to him again." While I'm waiting to talk to the guy, I read the paperwork she gave me and it is not an authorization of the repairs, its me agreeing to a rebuild fee if i don't agree to do the repairs there. I tell her I'm signing the paperwork because its not an authorization for the repairs and I agree to the rebuild fee. She says "great that's what i said." No it wasn't and even the other lady in the office said it had to do with the rebuild fee. I wonder how many other people she has told that lie too! I pick up my car and it looks good, the work was done fast but seemingly well so I'm glad everything went well. I picked my car up on Friday, and paid them with a check, the 1000.00 dollar deductible, end of relationship. I wish, but i'm wrong. On Monday night i notice that my account has TWO 1000.00 dollar withdraws, from fix auto and i know that's a mistake. I call my bank, and they confirm that it is the same payment to fix auto, just ran twice. Shady! My bank tells me to email them a form stating that its fraudulent and they'll handle the refund. My bank also tells me that if i contact Fix Auto and let them know the mistake, they will probably process the refund. I tell my bank i'll try Fix Auto and if not i'll send the form. I call fix auto, the next am and talk to the same girl. She says she isn't sure she can process a refund and that she'll have her manager call me back. That was tues am, no call back, no surprise. I call again thurs am and ask to speak to the manager directly. I"m on hold 6 mins when she comes back on to tell me, can i email her proof of the double charge, like a picture from our bank statement. I ask her why the manager didn't call me back before, she says, "he told me to tell you we need proof to process the refund" I say, "ok so why didn't anyone call me and tell me this before this" This is her reply, "well i knew you'd call back" WHAT!!!!!!! of course i'm calling back, you are fraudulently keeping 1000.00 of my money. I get my mind back and ask, "don't you know you over charged me because your account has 1000.00 extra dollars more than it should have for the work that was released that day?". She replies, "no we don't keep records like that". Wait what they don't keep records of how much money comes in and is supposed to come in connected to repair jobs? shady shady shady. If she didn't know, she needs to say so. I just email the form to my bank which should process our refund in 48 hours. I still have to email BBB and state farm to let them know please cease working with this company that obviously has some pretty fraudulent business practices. read more

Someone slammed into my car at work and Fix Auto was selected by his insurance company to fix the damage. Every encounter I had with them was pleasant, very professional, timely and friendly. They kept me informed the entire time (by text and phone calls) of what was done and what still needed to be done. The rental car was right there on site so it was all very convenient. They cleaned the inside and outside of my car and made it look alot better than when I drove in. I would recommend them highly. I wish more businesses were as professional as the folks at Fix Auto! Where to begin? I came across Fix Auto because this was the recommended place by my insurance to process my claim, get an estimate, have repairs completed and pick up our rental. I was skeptical, only because it was NEW and not on my radar. From the time we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly staff, provided a realistic timeframe, and the paperwork was a cinch and well explained. Fix Auto has a texting program that keeps you up to date with each new phase of progress on your car, and this help us coordinate with our rental, carseats, etc so we could have it ready on the exact date we would be making the swap. I was very impressed by the quality of work performed on our van, the color matching, and attempt to blend everything with the 12 year old paint already on it! It looks amazing! They were very flexible as far as the timing of the pick up, and they even washed and vacuumed our van for us! Truly excellent service the entire time. Now, here is the "going the extra mile" review. Keith personally oversaw our van's progress, delivered our van to us and made sure we were happy. I told him I was so thrilled by the experience that I wanted him to look at some minor surface scratches on another vehicle. Just had my Tundra repaired at Fix after a fender bender. Geico insurance sent me to them and my experience was great. They accommodated my schedule to make it as convenient as possible to get the work done and it only took 48 hours to complete my repair.
