Where to begin? I came across Fix Auto because this was the recommended place by my insurance to process my claim, get an estimate, have repairs completed and pick up our rental. I was skeptical, only because it was NEW and not on my radar. From the time we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly staff, provided a realistic timeframe, and the paperwork was a cinch and well explained. Fix Auto has a texting program that keeps you up to date with each new phase of progress on your car, and this help us coordinate with our rental, carseats, etc so we could have it ready on the exact date we would be making the swap. I was very impressed by the quality of work performed on our van, the color matching, and attempt to blend everything with the 12 year old paint already on it! It looks amazing! They were very flexible as far as the timing of the pick up, and they even washed and vacuumed our van for us! Truly excellent service the entire time. Now, here is the "going the extra mile" review. Keith personally oversaw our van's progress, delivered our van to us and made sure we were happy. I told him I was so thrilled by the experience that I wanted him to look at some minor surface scratches on another vehicle. Keith bent over backwards for us, and without giving away too much, let's just say he made a life customer with us!! Awesome service! I brought my Toyota Camry here to get the bumper fixed. It was a one stop shop because the insurance adjuster was here and a rep from the Enterprise. Fast and friendly service both at pick up and drop off. They did an outstanding job replacing the bumber and they even did a little detailing of my car. read more

Someone needs to pinch me because I must be dreaming! I just picked up my car yesterday. Let me start off by saying how amazing this place is! I took my car in there only expecting a paint job but got way more than that. They gave me a brand new bumper, replaced a damaged wheel liner , fixed a ripped splash guard , and on top off all this they buffed out many of my other scratches on my car! They were not required to do any of these things. This was truly unbelievable! I got way more than I could ever have expected. Keith was especially amazing! When dropping off my car he handled all my silly questions with one of the best displays of professionalism I've ever seen. When picking up my car Keith explained almost every single detail of what the repair technicians did. Let me say that the paint job they did was perfect...the paint match they did is utterly amazing! I couldn't imagine taking my car anywhere else. This place deserves so much more 5 star reviews than they have right now. I'm sure this is due to the fact many people just don't do reviews. Take your car here if you want to be absolutely blown away when you get it back. You couldn't ask for more! I also want to give a big thanks to Mike my adjuster from GEICO. He was outstanding! I can't say enough about this auto body shop. Really, 5 Stars!! The staff (friendly and professional) fixed my car and repaired my scratched & bent bumper, after I was rear-ended by a 16-year-old girl. The car actually looked better than before, because it looks like they buffed out some other small scratches I had. They also shined up the interior for me. And, they got it done half-a-day early! I had an amazing experience at Fix Auto Oceanside! I was assisted by a gentleman named Less who went above and beyond helping me! I went in to fix my 2004 Toyota 4Runner. Geico had recommended Fix Auto and I was a little apprehensive but it ended up being an easy and FAST experience! I believe Brianna from Enterprise was the one who helped me with my car rental and she was kind and personable as well. OMG i have never been more disappointed in a process ever in my life. Antenna was not attached to the radio and was bent. Piece of molding on outside is loose now. The gas door was ajar-ed and crooked. The intake tube for the gas was loose and was almost impossible to get the cap back on due to the fact that it was not tightened down in the right spot. Used a dirty rear light that looks worse than the other one that's on it and the cars 20 years old. The Bumper is not fully attached underneath the car there are brackets just sitting there. They Lost the rear access panel for the lamp assembly so now when i hit the breaks at night my car lights up inside Oh yea the bulb in the assembly was just tossed in and not mounted properly There are a bunch of mild scratch marks across the top of the car from were a someone wiped with a dirty towel. There is a rubber seal missing in between the window and the frame of the body. A running light on the side of my car is no longer working. I wanted to tell you guys everything that this place messed up on my car. i tried to write out kinda the story but there has been so many back and forths in the conversations i have had. i have never received a call back, i always have to call them to see what is going on, and now they are trying to say that they are not going to fix my car and that it has already been fixed. Please for the love of God (DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE) the service writer Aundrea lie repeatedly to my face about stuff, trying to cover his works butt. I know shady work when i see it. I had my 2010 Malibu in. I was hit in another state and unable to get my car fixed as we were about to move here. When I brought her in, the people at Fix were eager and willing to answer all of my questions, help set up a rental, and get my car in as soon as possible. Being new to the area, I loved how helpful they are. Texts almost daily and frequent calls about the what my car was going through reassured me that I made the right choice. My only problem was that on the day I was supposed to pick up my car, I called several times to ask what time I could pick it up, and was told I would recieve a call back. I had to keep calling because nobody was actually calling back with an update. It was two days later that I could finally get the car. Aloha was great at helping me out and calling me, even though they would be closing within an hour, giving me an opportunity to pick up my car that night. So thank you for that! Hopefully I never am in a situation where I need body work done on my car, but if I do, I will definitely go to Fix! read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. The first experience I had was wonderful. So when I had an accident this was the place I thought of to go immediately. My Check Engine light was on, AWD, coolant light, and the Trac Off light. I left my vehicle there for a week and when I received my vehicle back from the shop it looked as if it were in pristine condition. After driving a few blocks my car starting shaking and the lights came back on. I took it back the next day and they stated that it was just routine maintenance on my vehicle. Such as the spark plugs. My car has 50,000 miles.. It was as if they were trying to dismiss me. I took it to Toyota the next day for a diagnosis and they said my engine could overheat and my car is undriveable. According to insurance, Fix Auto had fixed my vehicle. I had a third party inspect my vehicle, and the things they said they fixed, were not! Ex: The new radiator: Not new. Beware. read more

THE BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED! Fix Auto did an amazing job on my 2006 Honda CRV. My car was rear ended and they had me in a rental and my car fixed days ahead of schedule. When I got my car back it looked terrific! My back door was in perfect working order and the paint and body work looked terrific! Unfortunately, my car had a mechanical problem and Les took it immediately to a mechanic to have it assessed all the while making sure I had a rental vehicle to drive so I was never without a car. While the mechanic and Honda were deciding whether or not the problem it was accident related Les allowed me use the rental car and kept me informed at all times about my CRV. Not only did they do terrific body work, they referred me to a great Mechanic Jeff at Master Tech. Between the amazing work this shop did on my car, and the excellent customer service I received, I am very satisfied and would recommend this shop to anyone! read more

We had our Prius repaired here after it was rear ended. They were fast, polite, efficient and did great repairs. Picked up the rental car instantly when we got there to drop off the car. We also asked them to replace the grill in the front of the Prius which has fallen out twice. Toyota of Carlsbad's collision place had charged us $100 labor to replace it once and it fell out again about a month after they replaced it. (We'd tried but couldn't get it in ourselves.) Fix Auto replaced it for us for about $30 labor, and they knew that these grills tend to fall out so they epoxied and bolted it into place for us. Toyota had acted as if it was really strange that our grill had fallen out, but Fix Auto knew all about it. Ask for Wes-- he was very helpful. read more

Someone vandalized my car and when I called my insurer they set me up at Fix Auto in Oceanside, CA only a couple of miles from my home. A class act with not only my insurance claims contact on sight, but also Enterprise could set me up with a rental on sight as well. They kept me up to date with what was going on, how long it would take and how much it would cost even though my insurance was covering it. From the receptionist to the workers in the body shop, all were friendly, helpful and talented. The facility is clean and modern and comfortable. My car came back good as new. Les my contact at the shop and Jason my Geico agent worked together and got my car back to me in the time they specified. I would recommend Fix Auto to anyone without reservations. read more

Don't show up here without an appointment. Not willing to help with estimate on a drop in basis. Not very customer oriented in that regard. Even offered to wait but didn't seem willing to work with me. I wouldn't bother going here again. Must be nice to have so much business that you can turn repeat customers away. read more

Here more times than I'd like to admit this is my 5th car here. They are the best constant communication did have one issue with a head light pointing down they called me back to remedy the problem took me 4 months to bring it in not their fault I am always running around came in receptionist was great had a manager type guy come in make sure everything else was good had me in an out in 15 min. No explaining no back and forth they had a note of be in. lt's interesting, after the fact, to read the comments others have made and realize how true the positive ones are. Most of the comments are so "spot on," especially the ones that mention how important it is to see how management reacts when something goes wrong, no matter how minor.....or major. Like many others, I was directed by my insurance carrier, USAA to Fix Auto twice in the past few weeks for damage done to two different cars. (tough couple of weeks for the drivers in our family...lol) They fixed my wife's Mercedes to show room new condition, including replacing the front end clear bra protector. The experience was somewhere between fine.....and good! Then my Porsche had some front end damage caused by a metal pipe bouncing down the freeway. My car's repairs were delayed a couple of times, not because of Fix Auto, but because of the outside vendor they use to install the clear bra. When this vendor did my wife's car, everything went fine. However on my car I felt there were a couple of avoidable problems, not the least of which were the delays which should not have happened. Then when I got it back there were a couple of flaws in the clear bra. Being pretty upset and a bit of creep when it comes to my car, I let them know, somewhat loudly, that I was not a happy customer. THAT'S WHEN I MET KEITH BAXTER! His name gets mentioned several times in other reviews, but honestly there really aren't enough descriptive words to explain what an amazing job he does, and how special he makes his customers feel once he takes over your file. Just a great guy, with wonderful people skills and one of the few people in today's world who truly seem to still "care" about a job well done! My car was "re repaired" and came out beautifully, and by the time it was all over I found I had made a new friend, one I was so grateful and impressed with, that I gave him a pair of our family's Padre season tickets, just to try and show him how much we appreciated him stepping in and fixing everything.
