Usually don't leave reviews, but I got to say I am impressed on how they left my vehicle! Service was fast and on point. Shout out to Mario; he was honest, polite, professional, and funny! Such a great experience and the price was super. Definitely recommending to family, friends, and community!! Thank you, thank you! read more

Kevin Zaldivar, I want to sincerely thank you for facilitating the warranty repair on my 2015 Toyota Prius. The repainting and color correction were completed properly, and I truly appreciate your involvement in ensuring the work was redone the right way. I also want to recognize the staff and manager at the Oceanside Caliber Collision location on Avenida de la Plata. While the process took some time, the team ultimately delivered a repair that looks excellent. Even when a couple of loose pins at the base of the fenders needed attention, they quickly resolved it at pickup. Please extend my appreciation to everyone involved for their persistence in getting the repaint and color match right. The final result shows the care and effort that went into making sure the repair met the proper standard. Great value because they honor their warranty! read more

We had a very disappointing experience with Caliber Collision. We used them because they were a partner shop for our auto insurance and we expected that to make the repair process go smoothly. Instead, their customer service and communication were terrible. A 2 week repair turned into over a month. We had to contact them to get updates and they kept missing their completion timeline. When they eventually told us our car was ready we found a bunch of broken glass in the cabin and scratched wheels. A few days later, we went back to pick it up and our car was quite dirty (interior and exterior). By that time, we were so fed up that we just brought it home. If you have an accident damaged car and care about having a good experience, we'd encourage you to look elsewhere. read more

I normally don't leave reviews, but I gotta say, I am very impressed with Caliber's customer service and quality of work. They cleaned my entire car (including interior). They dropped me off at my house and delivered my car. There was a small issue with clearcoat on a previous repair and they offered to fix it for free. They did an amazing job and it's rare to find a company that does quality work and has such excellent customer service. I'm pretty blown away read more

Rosi was my service technician and she was great. Very knowledgeable about the estimate and necessary repairs off the bat. She was communicative during the full repair process and I felt like a valued customer every time we interacted. The work done was flawless. I would recommend Caliber Oceanside to everyone! The door to door service with the rental car company made everything extra easy. The full team, from management (Jenna - awesome) to front desk, was eager to help with any questions and provided great customer service in addition to great repair work. read more

I had a bad experience here. I was in a no fault accident with an uninsured motorist driver. insurance will only pay maximum $3500 for uninsured motorist coverage (for property damage, non medical). Insurance required me to get an initial estimate. I came to caliber collision for this estimate. The employee there gleefully explained how my costs would be more than $3500. Then they wrote me an estimate for less than 2k. I tried to show them damage inside the hood and point it out to them. They refused to look at it and said the first estimate is only outside damage. They told me I had to come back here to get it fixed and then they would give the insurance the "supplemental" estimate which is more. I understand this is normal part of the process but they completely ignored obvious damage that was clearly visible. If they had just given me an initial honest estimate I could have fixed my car so much sooner. The limit was 3500 and the initial estimate should have reached that amount. Dishonest read more

My car looks amazing!!!! Jenna was outstanding, and jacky at the front seat gave excellent service!!!!

This place is beyond amazing! We got rear ended and everyone there was so kind and accommodating! The entire process was stress free amd they even finished earlier than anticipated. Brittany at the fromt desk was one of the main reasons I went with them Because when I called on the phone she was so nice and helpful and made the whole process feel like it was gonna run smoothly. Mike who was in charge of the repair was beyond amazing amd the body work was meticulously and wonderfully done. My car looks brand new and looks way better than it did before the accident. Also, huge shout out to Chuy who gave me a ride home while my car was being repaired. He is really a wonderful and truly kind guy and the ride home was actually fun getting to talk amd laugh with him. Everyone at Caliber is great! I cannot say enough nice stuff about everyone who works there. Wonderful people who also do wonderful work! If you ever have the unfortunate situation of having to get body work done, I highly HIGHLY recommend them. Thanks everyone at CALIBER off La plata in Oceanside! Sincerely, The Schroeders read more

Having dealt with this specific CALIBER location in the past, I elected to return here recently, despite them being out of the network. This location has assembled a fantastic service team. From Haley at the reception desk, to manager Brittany Hatcher, to my service adviser Andrew Aumiller, everyone was top notch. My car was returned to me in three days, clean, and well restored. If I could, I would give them 10 stars. Thank you for a job well done. You are all rockstars!!! read more

Jenna and the team made a horrible event tolerable. Everyone was friendly and informative. I knew what was happening every step of the way. Thank you for your care read more

Don't think you're walking in for a quick estimate here. I was turned away as a new customer because I "didn't have a reservation" and told to schedule a WEEK away for a quick trim piece fix/repaint (~10 minute estimate max). No thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere to places that want new customers. read more

Caliber Oceanside was recommended by my insurance AAA. Went in for an estimate and everything was seamless from start to finish. Decided to get the car fixed with them. Andy was great at answering all my questions and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. read more

I cannot express how amazing these guys have been. I had an experience when I was left waiting 20 mins for a mechanic only to find out he was on lunch and it was brought to the attention of Chris, the manager. Chris was sure to reach out and apologized and assured me that never happened and it really was a once off. He asked me to take my car in and he'll have a look at it. When I brought it in he saw to it personally and set me up with Ben. Ben really went above and beyond for me. He insisted I got a rental car and offered to call Enterprise for me. I worked across the street so I didn't think there was any need - so they offered to even drop me to work! I had been rear ended and honestly have never had to do any of this before so asked Bridget at the first desk a million questions. She was so patient and knew how to answer everything. I had constant updates on the status of my car and when they were aiming to finish it. I have seriously never had service like this anywhere else - where both the manager and workers are so informed and treat you Ike you're family. Rest assured if I ever end up in a situation like this again I will 100% be back without hesitation. They really were a fantastic group of people with the most professional and friendly staff I have ever dealt with at an auto shop! read more

I've had work done here before with no problem. On a recent visit for a quote, I was told I had to leave my car (my only car) there for as long as it took to get the replacement panel in, painted, and installed, which was at minimum two weeks, or worst case five weeks...all due to the supply chain delays. I said: what if I give you my $500 deductible upfront? He said: "nope, people cancel, so we just don't have any other options.". Since I don't have rental car coverage, I couldn't do that, and ended up with another shop that accommodated me...altho that shop still took 4-5 days to complete, even after receiving the part! read more

My car and I got the best treatment here. The customer service was outstanding and they keep you well informed on every step of the process while your vehicle is being repaired. I would highly recommend them and definitely will be going back if (hopefully not but!) I need them. read more

I could not be more pleased with my experience at Caliber Collision. The staff was very helpful, friendly and competent. they worked seamlessly with my insurance company. And they kept me updated all along the way on the progress of the repair of the rear end damage to my truck. Mason was my point of contact for the repairs. He was awesome. SHOUT OUT TO ROSIE she has the best customer service and has literally gone above and beyond to take care of my needs! She is so patient and gets right on it when you need something. Mike was amazing! I came in with no appointment, needing assistance with the locking mechanism of my trunk. My dealership wouldn't see my car unless I left it for a full day. That wasn't possible. He walked out to the car with me and fixed it on the spot! Wishing every car issue was this easy. Thank you Mike and Caliber Collision. Happy we have you in our neighborhood! read more

Just brought my car to the Caliber Collision shop in Oceanside to fix a paint-job gone wrong from a year ago that was done under different management. I've been really busy this last year with school, work, and my business so I was hesitant to bring my car in after a year to talk about the discolored paint job they gave me. After arriving I had someone immediately look at my car and inform me that they would have the store manager contact me as soon as possible. That next morning Alma the store manager reached out to assure me that they would repaint my car and match the color like they should have done a year ago during the original repair. I've never witnessed a store manager so involved in the repair process of a vehicle. In addition to her bold, yet pleasing personality, I could tell she was passionate about what she does and that was not only moving, but also ensured that my car would be in good hands. Not only did Alma and the caliber collision team make my car look amazing, but she also took the time to educate me on the paint job of my car and inform me of some things that I never would have known had she not talked to me about them. I want to thank Alma and the caliber Collision team for the outstanding work and most pleasing customer service I've ever received from an auto body repair shop. You guys are Rad! read more

We got sideswiped while our car was parked on the street. When we returned, there was no note. We shopped around and settled on Caliber to make the necessary body repairs. Rosie helped us and she was great. She took the time to explain what needed to be done, gave us some options and gave us a itemized quote on the spot. When we decided on what work we wanted done, we contacted her and she was very amiable. We took the car in and she promised it would be done within 2 weeks. We were able to get our car back in 10 days and it looks good as new. In addition, Rosie got the bill under the written proposal. All in all, a great experience. Rosie is the best! read more

My car got damaged and I brought it here thinking they'll do a fast and good job but it took them almost two months to fix my car and it was hard to contact them and get updates and I would not get right information, they said one thing then another. Now that my car is fixed it recently has been knocking whenever I turn or brake, which didn't happen before, went to go see my car while it was being fix and they would not let me see my car. I recommend just going to your cars personal dealership or a better local auto shop read more

I took my car to get repaired, and they did a good job with that. Here is the issue: When you drop off your car, you have to sign a waiver stating that you will not leave any personal items in your car, and if you do, the theft of such items is not fault of the business. They must be aware of the staff they hire, that's for sure. I removed my more valued items but did leave a pair of sunglasses in there. On the drive home I notice my glasses are missing. Fine, shame on me. HOWEVER.....also, all the change in my center cup holder was gone, as was a pack of gum (the kind molded like a cup to fit in a cup holder). Really???? Yes, I signed the waiver...but that was just silly. read more

Compelled to review, as these guys deserve kudos for their work and service. Tommy is very personable, honest, and made me feel comfortable leaving him and his guys to care for my truck. My bumper on my Tundra needed work...I didn't know if came in three pieces...but Tommy saved me money by acknowledging that not everything needed replacing. If he was out to make extra money, he could have convinced me that more needed to be done. This is my second time in a few years I've been to Caliber in Oceanside. Hopefully, I won't need them again anytime soon, but I highly recommend their honest, courteous team to anyone. Really, everyone there that I came across, from the kind young lady up front to other folks, all who acknowledged my presence and made sure I was being helped and was comfortable. I would say that, as a whole, they conduct themselves with integrity. Keep it up! Thanks! read more

I had some repairs done to the front end of my car recently, and I couldn't be happier with the results! The car looks great (repaired and cleaned inside and out). Mark, who was my contact at Caliber, was fantastic. He kept me well-informed during the whole process, and made sure that everything went smoothly. Everything was streamlined and easy on my end, and everyone was professional, friendly, and helpful. The shop made sure, too, that everything was as safe as possible during this time of Covid-19. The chairs were far enough apart to be safe, the staff wore masks, and everything was sanitized. Oh, and the job was done a day early! All in all, a very good experience. read more
