I rarely get on Yelp and post a review but the service and professionalism we received was too incredible to not write a review about. These guys are truly a blessing to have worked with. Wifes Rav4 was sideswiped on the side of the street parked in front of our home. Novice driver cut the parallel park too tight and caused roughly 13k in damage. Evan took care of us and from the moment we met him until the moment we picked up the car he was incredibly thorough, polite, respectful and just simply easy to work with. Even on the day of pick up several weeks later he saw me park, take out my kids car seat and all the junk I took out of the rental car and popped the tailgate open for me as I was walking to our repaired vehicle to make it easier to throw everything inside. That kind of courtesy just doesnt exist anymore so to see him display it flawlessly was so rad. On top of all that, the bread and butter of this whole process was that, after all the repairs had been made it looked like nothing ever happened in the first place. Which is exactly what they aim for. Thank you a ton for making this process so easy and I will 2000% recommend this specific body shop to anyone I know thats needs work done. read more

Recently, my Tacoma '25 was in for driver-side front end repair the vehicle was beaten up following a nasty car accident. In the lieu of the repairs, I cannot be more than impressed by George C. commitment to fixing up what I believed was a despair. Every week I was met with an update whether there was a delayed parts or simply on-track timeline - I received transparency. This review is an accumulation of all compliments given by his assessment/execution. This review is heavily relied on George's communication, I am beyond satisfied in due part by the ongoing communication but the value of each piece of equipment that was required to bring back my baby in dealership form. Thank you Lea for your courtesy service it makes all the wait worth-while. read more

Five stars to Caliber Collision on North Melrose Avenue in Vista, CA. Excellent customer service, knowledgeable repair estimates, prompt service -- total professionalism. A big shout-out to George Carsella, who was courteous and highly competent. He estimated my repair and sent his quote to State Farm in a timely manner. Nobody likes to have a car accident. Still, when you interact with customer-focused employees who really care about you and your vehicle, the whole situation is much more pleasant than it otherwise might be. Keep up the excellent work, Caliber Collision in Vista! read more

Evan provided several updates during the repair. Car fixed in about five working days, repairs spot on out the door! Text updates as well.

If you are looking for the exception to the rule when it comes to service.. this is your place. I tend to be skeptical about everything now that I have lived it here several years. It always surprises me when someone goes out of their way to go above and beyond. Evan Murray at this Caliber Collision location went out of his way to help me ensure my car was repaired in the least expensive manner possible. This was especially positive given I had been hit by someone running a red light who of course provided an insurance card that was not valid and a phony phone number. I was on the hook for my deductible. If you are looking to get your car repaired this is the place to go!! read more

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Office was clean and accommodating. I would highly recommend to friends and family

I went there to get an estimate on some minor damage to my truck. they said they might be able to just buff it out, took the truck in the back and completely fixed it. when I asked how much I was told no charge. this is a 5 star business and I would highly recommend them for any repairs. Thank you Gina for the excellent service. read more

I have a 19 wrx sti that had damage to my wntire left left side that broke my heart. Took it to another body shop for repairs, and then had to return multiple times in which they were still unable to fix my car correctly and provide a quality paint job. Decided to come here for proper repair and paint. Gina and her team were amazing! Fixed my car correctly and the paint tech matched my grey metallic paint with no inconsistencies or flaws. read more

I called Caliber because somehow my backup camera got pushed up into the door. Lorenzo was very helpful on the phone and told me to stop by so they could look at it. Professional and quality work. Alex was my rep and he was terrific. The service was affordable and the work done on my car was perfect. They actually saved me money on top of it all. Online quote system is terrible. Called and spoke to a someone who had to reroute my call to the local shop to get "free estimate" only to be told we don't work on european cars. Guess they don't want my business! Thanks anyway read more

After my accident and sent a list of local shops that my insurance approved, one of the first I clicked on to look at the reviews was Caliber Collision. The reviews seemed genuine and I got this home town, easy going establishment. From the moment I arrived to the moment my vehicle was ready for pick up, it was apparent that the hunch I had was correct. Sabrina Emick, the incredibly knowledgeable receptionist that checked me in, was on her first day at the job and I wouldn't have known if she didn't mention it later on during one of our exchanges. She was professional, polite and extremely knowledgeable for a team member who just arrived and i was very impressed. As I sat in the lobby where they offer free coffee and bottled water, I was observing the dynamic of Caliber's employees and it was taken back by the synchronization of them all, they were all on the same page and moving as one with very little words exchanged. A tall gentleman was moving and shaking along with everybody, hands on, all over the place but calculated with every move. This same gentleman would later introduce himself as the David Carter, the General Manager. He was there on the floor with his team, working in a capacity of an experienced leader and source of guidance, rather than a micromanaging his team or barking orders from behind a desk, which I'm sure he would not be wrong for. He was guiding them passively, as an onsite resource for anybody to approach if needed and they did, it was as if he was everyone's right hand man, My kind of leader. My vehicle was finished 13 days before the first estimated completion date. I received detailed text messages detailing the status as far as genera status and completion date updates. When I arrived, my car looked better than when it went in, incredibly well done, especially with how fast the service was. As I was checking out I had a few issues which hindered the pick up and checkout process which were all errors of mine. The Service Advisor, Lisa Umlauf was incredibly patient and worked with me along with the same receptionist I met upon dropping off my vehicle. Lisa went above and beyond in her effort to correct my errors and get me out the door to my beautifully repaired vehicle. Caliber Collision is THE perfect blend of professionalism, efficiency and friendly customer service. I recommend that anybody who has the chance to utilize this outstanding do so. To the owner and Caliber team, thank you, in the midst of world wide pandemic where smiling faces and positive is a rarity, you all shined and did an outstanding job at restoring my car and lifting my spirits. Thank you very much. read more

I tried to get an estimate for repairs during the lunch hour. Obviously not the best time on a Friday afternoon. I received excellent support from DMaggio who went out of his way to get support from another tech, Luis. They both worked quickly to buff out a long scratch on my car. Luis was positive and reassured me I could return for an estimate and repair for the deeper scratch or go to the dealer. I appreciated the honest advice and response to my concerns. Thank you to DMaggio & Luis!! read more

Had to have my truck towed to shop due to damage from a pritty serious accident my driverside front tire took alot of the impact which must have bent the controller arm or the frame preventing the wheel from turning so obviously the suspension needed to be repaired right ? Not according to this place they gave an estimate for only the cosmetic damage ?? What good would it do to have the cosmetic damage fixed if I cant drive it ?? Here's the best part they told me that the doors where locked and they couldn't get in well I knew this the impact must have damaged the lock and the key no longer open the one lock that controls all doors and for some reason the alarm auto locked the doors so thease guys couldn't figure out how to get in the truck ?? They convinced me to take my business elsewhere ...oh by the way my girlfriend took a clothes hanger and unlocked the door in 5 min. Was not impressed !!! read more

The staff at Caliber Collision went above and beyond for me. Elizabeth was the employee who helped me, she was always in touch and keeping me in the loop. I got there at closing time and there was an unexpected problem with my car, about 5 staff members stayed an hour after closing & tried to fix the issue. When the issue could not be resolved, they arrange a rental vehicle for me on Christmas weekend & had my car ready the following week. I am so thankful for the service I received.
