My parked adventure van was swiped and launched off by a passing drunk driver and deemed a total loss by insurance. It remained mechanically perfect. The price was definitely cheaper than the dealer and they did get it done very quickly except the parts failed and I had to bring my car back a month later My main inconvenience was that they told my husband that they would drive me home after dropping off my car and when I got there they said that they wouldn't drive me home because it was too far. My husband had to call them. They took me home but they took someone else home at the same time and drove them all the way into San Marcos first before taking me home. It took me an hour and a half before I got home and it was extremely inconvenient (for a less than 20 minute drive). The second time I came in they did exactly the same thing they wanted me to drive all the way to Vista to drop somebody off. I live closer than that and the last time they told me they couldn't drive me home because I live too far. Unless you live really close don't expect a convenient ride home. read more

The place is small and tucked away, nothing like what you might expect for such a highly rated company, so finding it was a bit of a challenge. Its okay though--they're used to having to help navigate new customers to the right place. They're extremely friendly, honest, gave us quality service and a better value than anyone else could have. we had a bad bumper that was barely hanging on to the car it was supposed to protect. We thought we'd be shelling out a lot of money--and it was clear they could have taken us for a ride. after a brief inspection, they quoted an extremely fair price, saying they could reattach rather than replace. we returned for the appointment that we set. though the job was tougher than anticipated, he was true to his eatimate and happy to help us out. FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE yesterday meeting Dave (owner) to get an estimate for repair. Very personable, taking real time to talk, examine the damage to my car (twice), provide background on his experience and business, and review the estimate. I told him I wanted to have him do the work before he provided me with the cost. Dave's careful inspection of the damage was important, because it was not clear whether the damage could be repaired without having to actually replace the panels on my car! This differed dramatically from an experience the day before. In that instance, the receptionist merely took photos of my car and advised that one of assessors would get back to me with an estimate. I had some paint damage on the bumper of a Jetta and Dave told me it's too expensive to get it repaired, so either get some touch up paint or live with it bc it's not a big deal.
