Only 2 stars due to non-responsiveness. My car was involved in a hit & run. This body shop was approved by insurance and it was close to work. Fantastic job replacing my rear bumper! However, when I got in, I noticed my front windshield had a scrape mark and a crack. I phoned the office right away. I was told to send in photos, which I did. After a week, no one got back to me. I then phoned again & was told to send photos again as they hadn't received them. It has now been four weeks and no one has responded. I didn't send my car with scratches and a chip. So, I didn't expect to have it returned with damage. This could have definitely been resolved with a simple phone call and response to the matter. read more

Took my car in for a simple front bumper replacement and they used BONDO and it was crooked when returned to me. I don't recommend this place at all. I highly suggest this company. I recently had a deep scratch/dent repaired. From scheduling the appointment, being kept up to date on the repair and pickup, I was informed and kept in the loop on the status of my vehicle. They also completed the repair a couple days earlier than expected. Upon receiving the my car back. The repair looks amazing! The paint was blended perfectly. Fix Auto Oceanside was incredibly amazing in every single aspect and service provided, from customer service to repairs and communication. They even went as far as helping with damage and cosmetic issues that weren't covered in the insurance claims. I had two accidents needing repairs after what started as a cross country vacation turned into a two year trip because of covid. I wanted to wait to fix the repairs from both accidents until I was back home in San Diego. But due to the odd nature of my situation, I was initially treated like a liar and a fraudster by associates at another autobody shop my moms coworker originally recommended. "Thanks for coming in today!" It wasn't my idea, someone ran into my car. This was the place State Farm sent me for an estimate on repair. They were really fast and very friendly, as well as very professional. Looked over my damage, looked up the costs, and cut me a check in about 20 minutes. This place is great! Fast, professional and accurate! Jennifer is super, very professional and got everything done perfect. I had my front bumper damaged and it needed to replaced. I took the car in and dropped it off. Jenifer did the estimate and got the approval from my insurance Geico in couple of days. Three days later, the car is ready to pick up! They put brand new bumper in and the new light. Everything looks great like brand new. Very friendly professional staff in the front office. WOW, I am absolutely FLOORED by my experience!!! By reading all these glorious reviews, I KNOW these cant be real or true by my experience with this place just now. Locals to Oceanside know Thursday mornings can be really busy because of all the new construction of the hotels/apts going up but also the Farmer's market downtown and the usual heavy vacationers since the country's opened up from all the restrictions. I was pulling in the 'drivethrough' of this auto shop after detours from roads closed, farmer's market redirects and then had to wait in their driveway for about 4-5 minutes for another truck. My appointment was for 8am and I made it in at 12 minutes after and Jennifer said she couldnt take me for my appointment!!!! I explained Enterprise was on their way, and she just smiled she couldn't help me and that she was sorry!!!! I asked for a manager, she said she was the manager. I asked for her card, she doesnt have one. I asked for General manager, owner, someone else - no one. This place is a joke and unprofessional, totally SHADY business practices. I will never recommend businesses like this and being a local to Oside I want everyone to know how much trouble they cost me. They then marked my auto claim as resolved/closed which had to result in hours with Geico to correct. DO NOT USE THIS AUTO REPAIR. So I have mix feelings about Fix Auto... My first time there, service was great and they finished fixing my car earlier than expected. A few days later, I noticed that the front bumper wasn't fully placed on and my windshield sprayer wasn't working. I came back and they fixed the bumper and the windshield sprayer but the next day, I noticed the sprayer still wasn't working so I came back again. I'm not exactly sure but I think his name was Scott, was the person that helped me the third time I was there and he was amazing. He was so friendly and he actually fixed the sprayer and made sure everything was working before I left. I would give him and the girl at the front desk a 5 but as far as my total experience, I felt like I shouldn't have had to come back multiple times and everything should've been fixed and working when they returned the car to me. read more

Both highly professional. But what is prompting this review was the repair. Part of the damage was on my rear bumper. This was by far the best service experience I've ever had with auto repair. The initial process of dropping off my car and receiving a rental only took about 15 minutes because they had insurance and car rental representatives IN HOUSE. Les, whom I originally thought was the owner because he showed genuine concern, kept me updated regularly on the status of my vehicle. In his messages he explained the particular stage of the repair process my car currently was in. This kept me informed on what to expect next as well as the time of completion. Les went beyond expectations to make sure my car was PERFECT and that it met his high standards. I will definitely go to Fix Auto again, but hopefully I won't have to. :) read more

My review is based on the lack of service I received today at Fix Auto. This is my sixth or seventh time bringing vehicles here for repair and there won't be a next time. The woman at the front desk was very "matter of fact" and showed absolutely no interest in helping us. We were supposed to drop our vehicle off for repairs but ran 30 mins late and she refused to take our car. Seriously? Well if that is how you are going to treat a long time, repeat customer then you will NEVER see us again, but you will sure hear from us. I am sure there could have been a way to help us today. Perhaps she could have at least allowed us to start the paperwork while the ajuster was at lunch. But it was clear she took too much pleasure in telling us no and chastising us for being 30 mins late. WOW! I just have to say this place is phenomenal when it comes to customer service and getting the job done right! Thank you Keith for restoring my faith in good ol' American business ethics. We brought our Lexus in for front end repair after some clown ran a red light and took our front end with him as he fled the scene. As stated in the other reviews, the employees at Fix were great, always polite and smiling. In addition to the insurance work, we had extra work done to a damaged rear fender at our own expense since we were already there for the front end. We had a few minor issues we pointed out when we picked up the car that were clearly oversights while the car was being repaired, IE: missing trim, loose turn signal assembly, cracked headlight assembly, etc. OMG! I have never seen a business so quick to roll out the red carpet and pour on the VIP treatment AFTER getting paid. The manager, Keith, essentially moved a friggen' mountain to make us happy with the job. He went way above and beyond the call of duty . He waited after hours to receive the car back from us and had the loaner car waiting when my girlfriend arrived. Not only did he fix the above listed issues, but he fixed a few dings and paint scratches on other parts of the body. On top of that, he routinely called with updates a timeline for the repairs. I HIGHLY recommend the people at Fix Auto, specifically the Manager, Keith for remembering the customers ahead of the profit margin. Great job guys! read more
