The wait is not that long.. we came here as walk in's 2x on our 1week stay that started in Bozeman, went down to Yellowstone, then to Idaho for UTV riding and then to Jackson Hole WY to go see the Teton National Park. It was nice to walk around the local shops while we waited and then afterwards to work off those delicious carbs. Thin crust pizzas clean, fresh, not heavy and seasonal ingredients. The crust is soooo good. Chewy and some char. We had: Montana Burger Royale My teen son dreams about this. Yes its 27.00 and he said its the BEST burger he's ever had. I would have to agree (and we live in Austin TX where there's great cow) -the burger meat melted in your mouth -the egg dripping as you break the yolk was perfection. The bacon so juicy, the brioche bun (that was the winning touch) We shared: Hot Honey Pizza- so good 9/10 Spicy Burrata- also great. 8/10 Mac n cheese- that was the only miss. Way under seasoned and the white sauce seemed to get sucked up by the pasta so the dish was super dry. 3/10 Frites and Fondue- fries were great. Thick cut with finely shaved pecorino. Could have used a heaping more of the shaved cheese. -the fondue was ok, seemed still under seasoned or just not creamy enough? I'd swap that for some roasted garlic with the truffle oil. 6/10 Local brews and ciders were great! 9/10 Huckleberry Cheesecake 9/10 save room for this bad boy. We split it between 4 people. Not too sweet. Tart and delightful! The world cup was on the TV so it was a hopping place even as it rained during a late June evening. Parking garage nearby is free for 2hrs so thats cool! Come DT BZN and support local!

The whole place reminded me of downtown San Luis Obispo, CA. The Carne Frite was AMAZING. It's basically a piece of steak served with fries, but the steak was so flavorful I completely forgot about the fries. As a pizza connoisseur and meat lover, I also had to try the Carne Pizza. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, but definitely wasn't the worst either. The Montana Burger was really good, and the bacon was amazing. My only personal complaint: they serve Pepsi products and I'm a Coke girl through and through. Overall, great atmosphere, great food, and absolutely worth the wait. Highly recommend checking it out

The service took a little longer than I expected, but I assume it's because it was so busy. I had a latte and the chicken salad sandwich. The latte was delicious and had beautiful art on top. The chicken salad sandwich was good, but I wanted MORE of it in the sandwich. The ratio of chicken salad to bread was off, but still a tasty lunch. The potato chips were the perfect crunchy side to the sandwich. The food and drink is a bit on the expensive side, but not outrageously priced.

Let me set the scene: family of four, Friday morning, stomachs growling like grizzlies waking up from hibernation. We put our name on the waitlist online (be still my efficiency-loving heart), strolled in, and were tucked into a comfortable high-top booth within minutes. No chaos, no scrambling, just a hostess perched on a step stool like a air traffic controller for pancakes, calmly directing her team to the next open table with the precision of a woman who has clearly mastered the Tetris of brunch seating. Now, the food. We ordered enough to feed a small army: eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, cold smoked slab bacon, hash browns, and a breakfast burrito. Every. Single. Dish. Had its own personality. This isn't a "one good thing on the menu" situation, it's an entire lineup of overachievers. The homemade ketchup alone deserves its own fan club; it's the kind of ketchup that makes you side-eye every bottle you've ever used before, wondering how you settled for less. But here's the real magic: it wasn't just the food that blew us away, it was the machine behind it. Our server, Adrienne, was an absolute rockstar. Warm, fast, attentive, and somehow never missing a beat despite a packed house. She even carried a credit card terminal so we could pay right at the table, no waiting, no flagging someone down, just done. That's the kind of small detail that tells you a restaurant actually thinks about its guests' time. And the vibe among the staff? You could feel it. These aren't people clocking in and counting the minutes, they genuinely seem to enjoy being there, and it shows in every interaction. I watched one of the managers get approached by customer after customer, all gushing about their meal, and she just stood there soaking it in like she'd heard it a hundred times and still loved every second. I told her, half-joking, that if I had to find one thing to change about our visit, I'd have to come back just to find it, because nothing, and I mean nothing, was even close to off. Not the food, not the service, not the wait, not the vibe. Jam! isn't just a breakfast spot; it's a masterclass in how hospitality should work. Do yourself a favor: put your name on that waitlist, grab a booth, and prepare to have your brunch expectations completely recalibrated.

The appetizers also arrived quickly after order. The garlic scrapes were also good. The pizza was good. We had the diavola and mostarda. Both were good thin crust pizzas with decent flavor. The best part was there was not a lot of residual oil on the pizza. The service after the appetizer was really rough. The server was friendly but it took over an hour to get our food order. I LOVE Mediterranean food, but my teens aren't die hard fans like me. Still, I wanted to try this place and they agreed. My youngest and I ordered the Street Cart Döner Wrap. It was huge! We both thought it was just okay. For me, it needed something more to send it over the top, like some toum or more hummus or tzatziki. My oldest ordered the Spitz Gyro and couldn't stop talking about it for 3 days. She LOVED it! I also ordered the mixed fries with their regular and sweet potato fries and the sauce--that was really good. Since my daughter kept talking about her gyro and wanted it again, we actually ordered from here again a couple nights later. She got her gyro again and I ordered the Medi Bowl with quinoa and chicken. THAT was phenomenal--loaded with flavor and everything tasted great. We've actually found a couple of Spitz restaurants here in SoCal, so we are happy to say we are Spitz Fans!

**November 2025: Saturday Night**…read more My mom and I were looking for a spot to enjoy dinner that had parking. We drove around downtown Bozeman for a good 30 minutes, and didn't have any luck in securing parking. I found Mountain Walking Brewery and thought I'd take a chance and prayed that there would be a lot or that I would be super lucky with street parking. We were in luck and there was one very small spot near the front of the restaurant - hallelujah! The restaurant was poppin' - almost every table was taken, but we were offered bar seating and we gladly accepted. After purusing through the menu I decided that we should try a variety of items including a side of Brussels sprouts, Bowl of Bison Chili, and a Fig and Arugula Pizza. Service was quick and we got all our items in a pretty timely manner. The pizza had a really great crust the dough had a nice bounce to it. I think for me they were a tad overly generous with the balsamic vinegar glaze which made the pizza quite salty. I would definitely order a pizza again but perhaps the Margherita or the Carnivore. The bison chili was a good standard bowl and the brussel sprouts while crispy was also very salty - I think it was definitely over dressed, but maybe since the majority of patrons were drinkin the salty foods would pair well. Seems like a fun place to hang out, but for me I'd probably pick anything that doesn't have glaze or soy sauce.
