45 minute wait for a simple ass pickup order is crazy. Could've went back there and made my own order with all the time I was waiting.

    Bacon cheeseburger and milkshake!

I recently visited Five Guys in town, and I must say, it's a burger lover's paradise! The place is kept very clean, and unlike In-N-Out, their burgers are highly customizable with over 10 toppings to choose from. The juicy, perfectly seasoned beef patty, nestled between soft, pillowy buns is simply irresistible! The fries at Five Guys are legendary. Cooked in peanut oil, they're crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. While the fries might be on the expensive side, the portion is three times the size of what you'd get at In-N-Out and much better!

    lots of fries

This Five Guys is pretty easy to get to if your on the 44 freeway coming in from the East. We came here, just cause getting to Habit or In N Out was more of a hassle and not on our way. Plus I do like the fries here. My main problem with Five Guys has always been the pricing, cause $13 for a fast food lunch is too much in my book, when compared to Habit Burger or In N Out. Yes, the fries are the best at Five Guys and the burgers are good when you can get them to melt the cheese, but not at that price point. So, I decided to see if I can bring the price down to a reasonable level by ordering a little different this time. There was no line this time either. The burgers .... They try to shame you into a regular burger (2X patties), by calling the single patty burger a "Little Burger". Awww, you're such a unmanly man, you need a "Little Burger"! Girls don't have as much of a prob ordering a Little Burger. The regular should be called a Big Burger with TWO patties of meat and the single should be called a "regular burger" The bun size is the same as are the toppings. But the price really drops down ordering the "Little Burger" and you still get all the free toppings, like grilled onions and mushrooms and tomatoes you want. I got the Little Burger, no cheese, but extra grilled onions and grilled mushrooms along with lettuce, tomato, mustard and catsup. For fries, stay with the small! It's plenty for 2 people even! Big overfill on the fries always. Here's an insider tip: if you dine in and eat most of your fries, you can just go up to the pickup area and ask for a re-fill on the fries ... FREE! You get another big bag of super hot fries to take home if you want or eat right there. The fries are always super hot when served. I do like the Malt Vinegar available now ... just like Habit Burger! The price was more reasonable and we were able to finish the order of fries dining in, so we got another free! Having just one patty instead of 2, made the burger just less of a meat experience and more of a total lettuce, tomato and onion experience. I'll go the one patty way next time I come to a Five Guy's.

When asking if they use tamari or gluten free soy sauce, she said she wasn't sure and pointed to a list of salad dressing options that were marked. Not their rice bowls toppings - heads up- it's regular soy sauce. Also since I was asking all the gluten free questions, it would have been nice to be informed that the tacos were also served on flour tortillas. Not the cashier or the menu indicated this. Luckily I do not have a severe allergy, or I'd be furious. Obviously this place is a bakery, so there's gluten everywhere. I'm not mad, honestly. Just a little disappointed. Any information is best. I got the chimichurri steak tacos, which are covered in chipotle aioli - I'd honestly rename them to be chipotle steak tacos. Get zero chimichurri, the aioli completely takes over. I do like the steak isn't tough though, so still get some points for the attempt. For me, and my gluten sensitivity, probably won't be back since there aren't many options that are actually gluten free.

The workers were always friendly, the food was always solid, and I had never had a reason to complain. And then... I ordered an 8-inch sandwich through Uber and opened it up to find not one, not two, BUT THREE LONG BLACK HAIRS IN MY SANDWICH. Three. Not "oops, maybe a stray hair fell in by accident" territory. I'm talking about a full-blown hair trilogy. A hair every couple of inches like somebody was out here seasoning my sandwich with their hair. It was beyond disgusting. At that point, it honestly felt impossible to believe this was accidental. How do you get three long hairs in one sandwich, spread out across the whole thing, and nobody notices? Be serious. What made it even worse was that I was stuck in trial all day, couldn't leave to get anything else, and needed lunch so I could function through a long day in court. Instead, I got a stomach-turning surprise and basically lost my meal. I'm not even writing this angry as much as I'm writing it heartbroken. This was one of my favorite places. But after finding three long hairs in a single sandwich, I'm done. I can't unsee that. I can't unread that. I can't un-gross that. Sadly, this was enough to end a one-year relationship. RIP to what used to be one of my favorite lunch spots.

I was hangry for a salad for dinner and needed a sandwich for the next days hiking…read more The salad was massive! Fresh Romaine leaves and croutons and the grilled chicken was moist with a nice, tasty grill on the outside while easy to bite through. I couldn't stop eating it. You have about 7 choices of dressing which the put on the side so you can choose how much. $14.50 but it could easily feed 2 people. The sandwich was so big I had it for 2 meals. The turkey was juicy with sourdough bread, good cheddar cheese, not overly mayonnaised, and a few large leaves of lettuce. I had the best hike after this delicious 1/2 of the sandwich. Ate the other the day prior and it was so delicious I scarfed it down forgetting to take a picture. $14.49 and again can feed 2 people. This place stays really busy for a reason - exceptional food and great service. If I lived in Redding, this would be a dangerous place for me.

Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of places that he likes to get a sandwich... I just need you to understand how incredibly picky he is. Enter Dills deli m. Not only was he completely blown away by their delicious sandwiches, but my daughter stands by the fact that this was the best pastrami she's ever had. Now, as any good parent would, I have educated this kid on the ins and outs of pastrami, and for her to deem this one the best is a major accomplishment. The spot is super clean, the servers are incredibly friendly, and the food is spot on. Absolutely worth your time.

The restaurant is spotless, and we were served quickly. We each had the regular sized roast beef and provolone. My dining partner had it on wheat bread, I had the rosemary Parmesan bread. we had our sandwiches "Mike's way, with onions, lettuce, tomato, spices, and Mike's "juice" (red wine vinegar, and olive oil oil blend.) Of course, I forgot to take a picture. The sandwiches were excellent. We both liked them very much. The proteins were generous, and you could tell they used a good quality roast beef and cheese. The veggies were the right amount, and I really liked the "juice". the bread was tender and flavorful. We each ended up taking half of our sandwiches home with us. I have a cooler in my car, and when I got home to Sacramento, the rest of the sandwich was just as good. Two sandwiches, two sodas, and one bag of chips, and the price was very reasonable. Especially for the quality of food, and the fact that we got two servings out of it each. I will be back. Thank you.
