I really love five guys. This time I haven't tried this location so since I was in the area I wanted to check it out. The only thing I got was the little burger and the reason I'm knocking off a star is the prices are getting insane. The little burger was over $8 with tax of course I got the same quality sandwich but honestly I think that's a bit much I didn't get anything else, no fries no drink. Of course I did enjoy the free peanuts but that is something that comes up such a small price compared to what a cheap burger joint typically tells itself to be. Anyway counter service was fine no issues and ambience is clean I did not use the bathroom at this facility. They have free parking in a lot. If I was in the area I would come back if I could afford it but the prices are cost prohibitive read more

Five Guys is a chain. It should be run like a chain, but with different cooks and different customer service procedures, they are all a bit different. It is what makes people love or hate a particular location. I had been very happy with this location, I thought the people behind the counter were pleasant and personable, the cooks were pretty good - everything I would expect from a Five Guys. However, the last 2 times I went, the fries were overcooked and hard. I thought it might have been an off day so waited until I was in the area again and then ordered just the fries. ( See photo.) THE FRIES WERE OVERCOOKED AND DRY again. I asked the person behind the counter if they had changed anything with the fries, like how long they were in the oil... he said "No - no change ". Well I beg to differ. Sadly there is nothing I can do but go to another location and hope they make the fries correctly like they did here before. I do hope the managers or owners of these franchises look at reviews as this is something that could easily be adjusted by 1-2 minutes less cooking. It is just SO frustrating read more

I've always had good experience's here. Customer service is always on point- they are extremely friendly and great with kids- they always offer to cut my sons cheeseburger in half which is just sweet. Their cheeseburgers are delicious. I just love them- they are my favorite of all the "fast food places". I'm not a French fry fan but their fries are AMAZING! Their food is also a lot better than fast food! It's much better and they are consistent! Unlike all fast food places that constantly mess up your order 5 guys always gets it right THE FIRST TIME! This place is all about excess ... If you have a huge appetite, it's a safe wager that your hunger WILL be satisfied after visiting Five Guys. You will pay for that guarantee, however. I stopped here for lunch, and ordered a hamburger, small fries and a regular-sized fountain drink, but was a bit shocked when I had to hand over more than $15 ... for LUNCH .... yikes! Good thing I didn't add a milkshake that the employee tried to suggestive-sell me; then I would have had to work some overtime. I guess the days of the $10 lunch are gone, at least at chain restaurants. That's inflation for ya ... get used to it, it's the new normal. My main 'beef' with Five Guys is the fries, or more specifically, the amount of fries. It's over the top! They give you at least double the amount of fries the cup contains, spilling over inside the bag. I get it, they want to make you feel like you're getting a lot for your money. But, fries are cheap. There was enough fries to feed three people, so many went to waste, since I wasn't going to gorge myself. I hate wasting food; it's a serious problem in this country. Besides, they were over-salted. It's bad enough they want to give you cholesterol with the sheer amount of fries, but then they want to add high blood pressure on top of it. As for the burger, it was filling, but unremarkable, and sloppily made, sliding apart. Of course, they overdid the condiments, so the ketchup overpowered the burger. Another Five Guys excess is the loud volume of music; this is not a place that I want to linger at for a long, relaxing lunch. I ate quickly, filled my hunger void, and got out. One area they did do well in, however, was cleanliness. I could smell bleach in the bathroom, so there's evidence that it's properly cleaned. And, an employee actually went around wiping down tables, a sight that's all too rare in today's fast-food environment. read more

I've always been a fan of Five Guys since I first tried them. However, after visiting the Five Guys on 1180 Fall River Avenue in Seekonk I am disappointed. After ringing up 2 fries, 2 cheeseburgers & a 20oz drink my bill came to $34 which is rather expensive for your local burger joint. I could have went out to a restaurant and been catered to for the same price. I asked for a large drink only to be told that due to COVID-19 we aren't allowing anyone fountain drinks. I was offered a bottle of water for almost $3. The only "diet" available was a diet Coke. So I'm expected to pay $34 for 2 burgers, fries and a 20 oz drink that I don't want but need because how can you eat salty fries without a drink? This is disappointing as a diabetic because normally I'd have the option to use the fountain drinks which feature 20+ Zero Sugar mixes. Surely enough the public restrooms were open where everybody touches the same handle on the door, but fountain drink machines were closed because you know - COVID-19. I'd also like to note that the Five Guys in North Attleborough, MA allows fountain drink usage while the one in Seekonk does not. I visited both locations within the same week and had been told two very different stories for COVID-19. read more

We placed an order with Door Dash. Our driver was great. He was friendly and got to us quickly. However, we contacted Five Guys because they forgot an item in our order and were rude when we called just to see what to do. "I don't have time to deal with this" was the response we got. Second time to Five Guys. 1st time here, just opened. In my humble opinion a burger has to stand alone and be moist and juicy. This burger was not. It was double burger with cheese and bacon. Even with cheese still dry. Bacon was well done and dry also. It was hot but 1/4 of my cheese was stuck to foil. It was getting soggy wrapped so tight. I opened it almost immediately. When will food servers learn, steam needs to escape not keep cooking or make soggy. Fries. Crunchy crispy outside. Cooked soft inside. Not greasy. I love these kind of fries. Five guys fries are not these type of fries. Some undercooked, some not quite cooked. Soggy, salty, soft, and greasy. They were hot. Bag was fully soaked with grease by end of meal. Just not enjoyable and being salty made the fries even worse. There were diners eating. No one else ordering. Only one other waiting for order. I counted almost 12 employees. I felt I waited to long for food. Being served sub standard was a big disappointment. I even recognized manager from Warwick location. There are no excuses. $11.53 including tax. Giant let down. I didn't experience the Five Guys buzz. I'll try again because serving size was decent. If happens again there are too many other options to choose from. read more

I just ate at this restaurant, and I wanted to share a story about an exemplar employee named Matt who I encountered. Behind me in line was a senior citizen who had never been to Five Guys before. He very patiently walked her through the menu and all of her options, including toppings that are included and ones that cost extra. He demonstrated the epitome of customer service in his voice and body language while helping her. After she paid for her order, she wasn't sure how to use the soda machine, because it is one of the newer kinds with many choices and flavor options. He gladly came out from behind the counter to demonstrate for her where to get ice, and how to choose her favorite drink. It was truly an amazing encounter to witness, and it made my day to see that he genuinely cared for his job and this woman to help her through ordering her lunch. Matt, who was working around 1pm on Sunday 5/5/19, deserves major recognition, as it is obvious that this wasn't a one time occurrence, but just his personality and character. read more

I enjoy this location because there's always room for you to sit and enjoy your meal. Places such as Lincoln and Warwick are always packed and very little room to sit. When I arrived today I had 2 employees look at me and walk by me at the counter. The young woman then came up and took my order. A very simple ,"someone will be with you in a moment" would of prevented myself from writing this partly negative review. The staff looks at you knocking at the door until I pointed to the clear sign saying open until 10 pm. I have zero complaints about the store , the service or the as usual great food . But I have to question why the music which was a bit loud within the restaurant was deafening in the bathroom . Hubby had surgery and is using a wheelchair so I went with him to help with standing ( it's a single men's room so that makes it easy ) music was absolutely ridiculous.
