First trip back since the new owners and it was hopping. I ordered 2 all the way, small FF, and a coke. All in all decent service, although no one checked if I was enjoying everything. It's not a bargain anymore, that's for certain. Came to over $15 before tip. Biggest rip off is a medium coke for $3.50 (come on guys). Overall I enjoyed the food. Might come back but they could really improve overall service and beverage pricing.

Last stop on day three of the RI Food Fights was another classic location, Wein-O-Rama, which was notoriously closed and then reopened by some local business people to great acclaim. That plays out in the busy parking lot and lots of people running in and out all day long. Unfortunately for us, the legendary status doesn't live up on the product. There was an off-putting spice in the sauce, infant identify it: it tastes like cinnamon or nutmeg, but Is probably allspice. In any event, it doesn't make the product better. The quality of the bun and weiner are quite good. Everything is on there in good ratios. But the taste is so weird and out of place it ruined it for me. It's good that this was the 3rd stop of the day, because if I came out of nostalgia for three all the way, I wouldn't have gone past the first one. Disappointed, but happy for the businessmen who kept it alive and for the people who clearly enjoy it.

Grabbed two all the way to go at the little side take out window. Very good wieners, meat sauce is excellent, onions were fantastic, and the Dijon mustard gave it great flavor. Although the wiener isn't cut off the rope and didn't make it end to end on the bun, it was amazing!

I've been looking to try a local dog with "meat sauce", mustard, onion, and CELERY SALT. Del's lemonade was close so I check out hot dogs and this restaurant was right down the road with great ratings. Nice cashier took my order and bagged it. The hot dog was so good and now what a different celery salt makes. I will add this to my Carolina style dog which has the same ingredients without celery salt. The fries were cooked to order and they stayed hot! Restaurant had 50s style diner theme but very clean. Overheard someone ordering scrambled eggs at 3pm! So you can order whatever you want at any time!

If you grew up in Rhode Island, you know Wein-O-Rama. This place is a true Cranston institution & home to some of the best hot wieners you'll ever have. After being closed for a bit, I was excited to see the doors open again. The second you walk in, it hits you: that comforting smell of grilled onions, spiced meat sauce & nostalgia. The decor is classic, old-school diner vibes with counter stools & no-frills tables. It's the kind of place where locals gather, orders are shouted with confidence & everything feels like home. I started with a cup of New England chowdah. There's no fancy garnish, no pretension & it tastes of the sea. I got 3 "all the way" (mustard, meat sauce, onions & celery salt). The wieners were snappy & juicy, the sauce was savory with a kick of spice & the bite of the fresh onions makes them irresistible. There was a long line for the take-out window & an almost equally long line for getting a seat inside. There seemed to be a little confusion on seating people but I'm sure it will work itself out soon. Service was friendly & efficient. Bottom line: Wein-O-Rama is back & better than ever. If you're a local, you know the deal. If you're visiting, this should be at the top of your list for a truly Rhode Island experience.

2 Wieners, All the way. With a side of fries and a coke. Can't get more American than that!

Very nice job cleaning the old place up. Looks brand new! The new uniform looks great on your new crew! Server was friendly and I got my 2-all-the-way pretty fast. They were as good as ever! Nice job new owners!

Good traditional hot weiner. Onion rings were cooked well. Will not be disappointed. Service was good and fast. Very busy place, the staff runs it very well. Milkshake was pretty good as well.

Gotta love RI hot wieners! This place is a staple when we go to visit the fam. It's a diner, so the atmosphere is relaxed. The service is friendly, and they treat you like family. The fries were a little oily, but still good. If you're here for a hot wiener, order them all the way! And, if you're like my dad, have a Tums handy lol

    Menu description

I love their hot weiners so I decided to try their breakfast. I ordered their Avocado toast which was described to have "smashed avocado" on it. I'm pretty sure I got an avocado spread and barely any of it. I can't believe this was $11! Dunkin Donuts has a better avocado toast than this and for less. Very disappointed. If you're not going to do it right don't put it on your menu.

He genuinely cares about his restaurant and the people he serves. A lot of owners would get defensive over something as minor as "the home fries weren't well done enough," but not Ari. We've been to Hamilton Diner many times and the food is consistently delicious. On this visit, our home fries weren't quite as crispy as we'd asked for. It was a small thing that honestly wouldn't have affected our rating at all -- we know how busy things can get. What impressed me most was Ari personally coming to our table to apologize and bringing out a fresh replacement. He didn't have to do that, but he did - and that's exactly why we'll keep coming back. Thank you, Ari, for your compassion, your humbleness, and the pride you take in your restaurant. You and your team are doing it right. Also sorry for the lack of photos, we dug right into our dishes. We came in at about 11:10 am as they were probably at about 2/3 capacity the last hour before shutting down for their 2 week vacation period. It took some time to get our breakfast once the order was placed but not an unreasonable amount of time. Plus the atmosphere was relaxing. We sat at the counter as all the booths were full. And I have to admit, eating at the countertop was relaxing. I ordered the JD muffin which is a grilled English muffin with bacon and fried egg for ~$5.95. The outside of the muffin was soft compared to the crisp inside. It was deliciously tasteful with crispy grilled bacon and egg. Much more tasteful than those egg muffins that one can purchase elsewhere at those widespread coffee shops. My partner had a #7 with a side of bacon including 2 eggs scrambled, 2 bacon slices, home fries, 2 pieces of toast and 2 thick tasty plain pancakes of which I had one. I don't usually have plain pancakes but these were very tasty and fluffy. Both of our coffees, hot and iced, came with free refills. We wished the staff a great vacation and left, knowing that this is our new "goto" breakfast restaurant.
