9 Pieces Chicken Wings w/ Fries
    Karla M.

Possibly one of the best chicken places around. I've been coming here for years and could only name a couple times when I've been disappointed. Here is why this chicken/food is so good. 1. Their chicken pieces aren't massive so they are always cooked thoroughly. Nothing is worse than biting into chicken with bloody bones. 2. The breading is always very crispy and their chicken taste fresh 98% of the time. Every time I've gone the food has been nice and hot. 3. Their prices are very reasonable. I got a 9 piece chicken wing box with fries for $10. 4. The seasoning they use is very addicting. 5. The fries are BOMB. I think they have a similar seasoning to the chicken and are crunchy but with a soft inside. 6. Friendly staff. Despite how long the line can get sometimes the service is very fast.

They do a pretty good job frying their chicken. It doesn't taste like they're using old oil, which is a plus.

Food is old and cold, not consumable. I did get my money back but what a horrible experience.

Who knew a great Jewish deli in Pawtucket!…read more Came in and had 2 apps, and then I had the Pastrami on sourdough. Apps where great and my sandwich was great. Super cool old school diner inside. Our server really explained the menu well, and you get pickles & cole slaw instead of bread! Very cool!!

Come for the décor, stay because your food hasn't arrived yet…read moreAfter seeing WhatDidYouEatTodaySir hype up Marvin's Delicatessen, I figured it was worth the ride down from the Boston area. I love a good deli. Unfortunately, this wasn't just disappointing--it was borderline comical. Let's start with the good: the place looks fantastic. Clean, modern, really well done. If Yelp rated based on interior design alone, this place is pushing 5 stars. Now... the rest. First clue something was off--the dining room felt like a walk-in freezer. Not exaggerating: every single table had people eating in their coats. At some point you have to look around and think, "maybe we turn the heat up before someone orders a side of frostbite." Then came the wait. And the wait. And the wait. Close to an hour for deli sandwiches. During that time, I had a clear view of the kitchen, which turned into dinner and a show. Plates were coming back nonstop--wrong bread, wrong orders, total confusion. It was like watching a live-action blooper reel. Eventually, our food arrives... and of course, it's wrong. Back it goes. No big deal--mistakes happen. Round two: soup comes out with vegetables after my wife clearly explained she has an allergy. The waitress caught it (thankfully), and back it goes again. What finally came out can only be described as "chicken soup in spirit." It tasted like someone waved a bouillon cube over hot water and called it a day. No seasoning, no substance, and I'm pretty sure the "chicken" made a brief guest appearance and left. Her sandwich? Also wrong--and somehow included onions and mystery vegetables. So that was basically game over. I ordered the 50/50 (pastrami and corned beef). I say "ordered," but identifying what actually showed up was a bit of a guessing game. The meat was dry--painfully dry. The pastrami (I think?) had the texture of kindling wood and looked like it had been sliced by someone who just discovered what a knife is. Tough, stringy, and completely lacking that juicy, melt-in-your-mouth quality you expect from a deli. The waitress seemed nice enough but didn't really know the menu, and the kitchen was clearly in full chaos mode. One guy--who I assume was the owner or manager--was running around like a man trying to put out ten fires with a squirt gun. At some point, we just started laughing. Not because it was good--because it was so bad it crossed into "you can't make this up" territory. Maybe I'm spoiled coming from the North Shore, where delis take pride in their corned beef and pastrami. But if you're going to call yourself a delicatessen, you've got to at least get the basics right. This place has the look, but none of the execution. I wouldn't go back. I wouldn't recommend it. And next time I'll just stay north of the border where the sandwiches actually show up correctly--and edible.

I warmed them up at home and when I took a bite into the buttery flaky crust, I was hooked. These were so delicious I instantly regretted not getting more things to try. I also had a hot chai with homemade vanilla syrup which was fragrant, sweet, and spicy at the same time - it was so good. The person behind the counter let me know that their menu changes weekly based on the what ingredients are in season and available. Another customer told me that everything is good and that I couldn't go wrong with whatever I selected. The items they sell are on the pricy side but absolutely worth it because of the quality ingredients they use in their baked goods. One bite and you can taste the difference. I'm looking forward to returning.

I like how most of their sweets have a nice crunch to it, but it's still moiste on the inside. I got a strawberry strudel today with fresh strawberries, soft-flaky center and what tasted like buttercream. I would highly recommend their pastry, but the coffee did fall flat to me. I've only had it once and it didn't do anything for me. We have so many good coffee shops in the neighborhood and never thought of coming back here for coffee. I will try their coffee again since it's been a while. The store is rather small, but it isn't intended on a dine in experience. I do like that you can see the chef in the back along with his partner in the front of the store. They are very nice people and super friendly. I have been coming to International Meat Market for years, back when they were on Lonsdale Ave,…read morewhere they just built Central Falls High School. This newer location is a lot bigger, with a massive parking lot. They are primarily a meat market, so they obviously have a large variety of meat, organized by type (beef, chicken, pork, fish, etc) behind clear cases. The prices are good and they usually have specials on different meats every week. The price per pound also decreases by a little when buying in bulk (10 Ibs +). They have meat packages available too where it comes with a pre-selected variety of meat for a set price. They have an online platform to order packages which saves lots of time by not having to wait in line, and I believe they accept orders by phone too. When ordering in person, they have a number system to order, so you grab a ticket with a number, and they call out the numbers in order to attend to customers in a first come first served fashion. Sometimes, the wait can be 30 min +, not because they are short staffed (there is almost always 8-12 people taking orders), but just because of the amount of people who come in. The meat always looks fresh. The staff is always in a good mood, happy to take orders, very patient, speak Spanish and English (and maybe more languages), and accommodating to requests. For example, they wil cut the meat in any way you wish, you can choose which piece you want, and tell them exactly how much you want. Aside from the meat, they have lots of authentic products from Central/South America, and some Portuguese products as well. They have a produce section with fresh fruits and vegetables, but it is usually more expensive than some grocery stores. They have 3-4 cash registers, so the checkout lines usually don't take longer than 2-10 minutes. Recently, they were celebrating one year of being at this location so to show some appreciation to their customers, they hosted a BBQ with burgers, hot dogs, larcites, and samples of some of their products - very generous.

When asking there are a few flavor options from blueberry, strawberry dragonfruit and a few more I don't remember. I went with dragonfruit and the lemonade was flavorful and perfect for me with not being too sweet nor tart. For starters I chose a chowder as it is a part of the Friday menu to choose from. They have both red and white and I chose the latter. It was smooth, cream full of a good mix of veggies and clams. For the main I went with bacon cheeseburger and I don't know just how to articulate how much of a comfort burger this is but boy oh boy it was a great diner style burger! The staff is very welcoming and friendly keeping the food and conversation flowing throughout the visit! Thank you for a great dining experience!
